Evening all. I am on a business trip so currently sitting in my horrible hotel room eating a room service fruit salad, which is about all I can stomach. Not actually being sick, but am permanently feeling queasy, particularly in the afternoon. Have found sucking tic tacs help a bit, but I need something sugar free...
Envious of those of you craving cheese -it tastes really odd to me. I usually snack on cheese (am normally low carb) but even before I knew I was pregnant threw it all away at home because I thought it had mysteriously gone off. Now I gather it s me that has gone off. Oh well!

Truly knackered, and easily out of breath. So much fuss caused by something the size of a pea!

I ate 4 boxes of Chicago town pizzas at the weekend.. was the only thing I fancied to eat! Unfortunately I'm wheat intolerant so I really shouldn't have

Hi ladies, hope you're all okay. I feel shocking this afternoon/evening! Had an awful headache for hours, had pints of cordial and paracetmol and nothing's touched it. Feel really sick too. Started the day well with an hour exercise! Then it went downhill from there. I have to teach my fitness classes tues, wed and Thursday in a row. Dreading it

I feel very ashamed :-( I didn't eat anything else all weekend I would like to add! just couldn't face eating anything else, being really funny about food at the moment

Thanks for you thoughts all. Had a gush of red blood this aft. An currently in local A&E waiting for an internal examination, blood tests and an ultrasound. Am all alone as DH is looking after the DCs.

Thanks hale and lady. It's lovely to have someone to talk to. Apparently my cervix is slightly open which does not bode well. They are still going to do the blood tests and ultrasound to work out exactly what's going on.

I remember being told that your cervix is always slightly open after you've had a pregnancy and you've had two previous too this. FX the scan shows some good news.

Hale I did ask the same thing. The dr said he can't rule anything out but given the open cervix and bleeding together, he thinks I should be prepared that there's a distinct possibility that I'm miscarrying.

Thanks crumbelina and duck. It's ironic. I'm lying here being told I'm probably miscarrying, with achy boobs and gagging repeatedly at the smell of 'hospital'. If I'm not going to get a baby out of this I'd at least like the wretched nausea to sling its hook!
