Today I have woken to the fresh horrors that are haemorrhoids...

Pregnancy is full of fun surprises :)

Little bean also has her super busy days and her chill days Three and Leanne It's hard to figure out whether I'm being not worried enough or being a total over worrier.... So hard to tell when its your first pregnancy and no one else you know has been pregnant!

Here's to an easy day for all of us

applecore0317 · 27/02/2015 09:08

Oh no Twinkle not fun, hope they clear up soon!

Off for a Spa weekend today until Sunday, can't wait!! Going with my best friend and our Mums.

Feeling a bit self concious about my spotty back, hoping that its more norticeable to me...

longestlurkerever · 27/02/2015 09:34

Sorry you're sick tori. Don't feel bad about the drugs - is better for baby that you have drugs than an infection.

Am feeling a bit under the weather too - queasy and have really painful mouth ulcers and an eye infection. Working from home but wondering about a nap. I have a builder in painting though - getting things ready!

Chookford · 27/02/2015 09:40

Sorry for those suffering... Pregnancy really is a glamorous time!

apple have a lovely spa break... Sounds amazing!

Happy Friday ladies! What a relief this week is over!! Well my week back at school was no where near as bad as I was expecting, got myself so worked up for nothing really. Merged classes have been ok, lots of support from staff getting them in and settled and sixth form helpers too. Used lots of post it's to keep on too of my to is list too. Feel like I can survive till The end now. Oh and 2 of my break duties are now getting covered which is great!

Sorry to hear about others not feeling great, I hope the weekend brings some rest for many! Think we really need to take things easy now. I think I over did it in half term and out myself in a lit more pain.

Thanks for the tips on the changing bag, I plan on being all prepare by Easter but we'll see! Haha. X

Threesoundslikealot · 27/02/2015 17:49

Bloody haemorrhoids, literally. Am OK so far but last time got an enormous one around 35 weeks and couldn't sit down. I did manage to shift it with Anusol suppositories IIRC.

Jenni2legs · 27/02/2015 19:44

I have just bought a pack of the ugliest knickers I have ever seen - www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+carriwell-5-pack-hospital-knickers+B3856?tyah=y they are supposed to help sections heal as they let the scar breathe :)

It was free delivery and 10% off if you fancy getting your own, with code MTB51 (on whole site until 20/03).

Threesoundslikealot · 27/02/2015 19:55

Christ! And how much???

I know some people use Tena Lady pants. Possibly cheaper!

I've got a set of black Primark enormopants that have seen me through both postnatal periods. But I've not been much of bleeder.

Sunshinesaz86 · 27/02/2015 19:57

Well I hope it's nothing too serious tori sure someone will tell u what it is as long as it's not causing u pain or discomfort? If it is u definitely get it checked sooner x

longestlurkerever · 27/02/2015 20:24

Hmm, well day got worse as a van driver rear ended me so am in maternity triage getting checked out. Think all is fine. It was just a bump to the bumper really, and hb and movements all good. Apparently yesterday's glucose test result was high though, and I have protein in my urine so need to see diabetic team and be monitored.
