turquoise glad to hear you are now home, sorry they still haven't given you an explanation re the bleeding though..

apple good news about your cervix behaving, sorry your not allowed to dtd yet though! Hopefully won't be too much longer! Wink

applecore0317 · 18/03/2015 14:44

Thanks longest
30 weeks now, they don't want me to do anything that might cause early labour, so nothing to aggravate cervix or waters. Have been on the progesterone since week 24 I think... have to have three pessaries a day

:)

Scottishgal78 · 18/03/2015 16:35

Aw have I missed pics of baby plinky? Are they on the fb group?

Blondie87 · 18/03/2015 17:05

plinky congratulations! That is wonderful news. How you and the little one are doing well! Xx

Blondie87 · 18/03/2015 18:24

Out of interest, is anyone based in the Leeds/Harrogate area? Would be nice to meet some other mums when maternity leave starts!

KittyVonCatsington · 18/03/2015 19:25

Oh gosh-is it really bad that I haven't DTD in months and months??!!

Love the wall stickers longest -I love the jungle ones

Am down South-sorry Blondie!!

Baby plinky is on the FB group-absolutely gorgeous!! Can't believe a fully grown perfect baby like Baby Plinky is currently lodging in me Grin.

applecore0317 · 18/03/2015 19:31

lol kitty Not bad, I just seem to want it cause I can't ha ha

Sorry blondie I'm in Northamptonshire

leanne963 · 18/03/2015 19:46

Oh kitty don't worry, DP had it once on Valentines day and that was it...I have too much of a sensitive cervix and anxiety that irrationally makes me feel something is wrong lol It's not worth it!
OMG i know, i cant believe a fully formed baby is in my belly, i am still convinced it must be gas ;)

Blondie87 · 18/03/2015 20:20

Feeling a bit guilty about the lack of action DH has had..... It's been very infrequent! Don't think it'll be much more when the baby's here. Seems we have very patient partners!

Kyz · 18/03/2015 21:10

Evening all - got pages and pages to catch up on, just poking my head in to say hi before I get set to reading!

Kyz · 18/03/2015 21:23

Goshes lots of chatting since my last post on Friday!

Thankyou for all the tips re: ds's hair - will have to get a tangle teezer and try that for him :)

wow, massive congrats plinky have seen the photos on facebook, she's gorgeous

there were more things I wanted to reply to but my memory is broken :(

Turquoisetamborine · 18/03/2015 21:32

Blondie I'm further north than that near newcastle. Lovely area though. We are going to harrogate for a couple of nights at Easter. Going to Forbidden Corner!
We haven't DTD for months, I first had bleeding at around 5 months so probably since then. It was a long time to resume things after DS so probably the same this time. My boobs are for feeding baby!
I also couldn't believe the size of baby Plinky and can't imagine that I have a baby nearly that big in my tummy. I feel like a weeble today though.
Had a grovelling text from my boss after she found out I had been in hospital again saying sorry she hadn't been in touch. Glad she believes me now!

Justyouwaitandsee · 18/03/2015 21:33

ScottishGal - do you need adding to the FB group? PM me the address you use for FB if you do x

Scottishgal78 · 18/03/2015 22:02

Thanks Just. Got added earlier. Had to see pics of the wee cutie! Incredibly to think that's what's in my tummy. Made my partner go misty eyed when I showed him!

applecore0317 · 19/03/2015 11:08

well glad it's not just me that's not DTD, but obviously not glad about the reasons behind yours turquoise and Leanne or anyone elses for that matter :)

I utilised my 4.45am awake time this morning to buy the Crib Mattress and a bag for the hospital, so that's another thing off the list

Tiredness that I felt in the first trimester has kicked back in as well, just want to sleep, can't see how I am going to last at work till 1st May... may go back down to half days again for the last few weeks.... zzzzzzzzzzzzz

FeelingBlessed77 · 19/03/2015 12:46

I had a bit of a scare last night. my fingers have swollen, and then I got a bad headache, so me thinking the worst ended up at the hospital, thinking I had pre - eclampsia. I am ok, just paranoid. my gran had it when she was pregnant with my mum.

leanne963 · 19/03/2015 13:14

Aww feeling that sounds scary! Glad you are ok though, did they say what caused it?!

applecore0317 · 19/03/2015 13:19

Oh no, hope you are ok now Feeling did they do some tests?

Cockbollocks · 19/03/2015 15:48

Thanks just for adding me to the Facebook group.

Pretty pissed off today, had a consultant appointment and he has vetoed my water birth plans. Really gutted because the birth choices team were the ones who said it would be fine as they have all new equipment for monitoring. I wouldn't have even considered otherwise.

Now they have said no anyway Sad

Justyouwaitandsee · 19/03/2015 15:52

Oh no! Why has he vetoed? Such a shame when you start thinking about certain options and then get told they're not available to you Sad Flowers

KittyVonCatsington · 19/03/2015 16:50

That's pants about no water birth-maybe there is a glimmer of hope they might change their mind???

I have become addicted to cake...

OP posts:
Cockbollocks · 19/03/2015 16:51

My previous c-sections mean I need to be monitored. I was told that the new monitors can be used whilst being mobile and underwater - he doesn't seem convinced and wants me on a bed attached to monitors.

This is pointless, I don't progress in labour anyway so sitting on my back just makes it worse.

Cockbollocks · 19/03/2015 16:54

kitty I have become addicted to Patisserie Valerie cakes - they are currently 4 for £10. I really struggled not to buy any earlier as i'm likely to eat them all.

mumxof3x · 19/03/2015 17:07

Sorry to hear you ended up back in hospital turquoise x

Apple sorry you still cant DTD although not too long now until 35 weeks.

Feeling, that sounds scary hope you are ok now.

Thats rubbish about no waterbirth cocks, I too want one as havnt been allowed one in previous 3 births, I havnt been told no as yet this time, consultant said she is just willing to keep an open mind this time depending on how everything goes, but I definitely wont be allowed to birth in a pool, just labour.

Well I have had my 4D scan today, was meant to be half hour, ended up an hour as stubborn lil man wouldnt move his hand from in front of his face no matter what I did, sonographer was just about to give up when he moved it to side of his face. He is estimated at 4ib (31+2)

KittyVonCatsington · 19/03/2015 17:11

Oh mumx I bet it was really special seeing him on screen! Sounds like a strapping young lad Grin

Sounds like the consultant is a little stuck in his ways and you might need someone else to fight your corner CockBollocks - in the mean time, mmmmmm cake!
