xx

Titsalinabumsquash · 17/03/2015 15:56

Congratulations Plinky, I hope you and baby are doing well and you get to have some newborn cuddles asap. How big is he/she? I can't wait to hear your birth story. Thanks xxx

I'm having an entirely weird day, I'm feeling all skittish and out of sorts, baby is going mad and I cannot get comfortable, I've take to crawling around the floor on my hands and knees, it's the only thing that seems to help, dS3 thinks this is an amazing game and keeps trying to play but I'm irritable and tired all at once.

I feel horribly sick and have felt like I've needed the loo many times but haven't produced much at all each time (sorry for the huge tmi there Blush)

I'm meant to be at parents evening for both my older 2 in an hour, Goodness knows how that's going to play out.

I'd quite like to sleep I think. ConfusedSad

leanne963 · 17/03/2015 16:07

Aww Tits sorry you are feeling skittish. It must be so hard with a little one who wants your attention when all you wanna do is sleep!! You are super woman!!! The only thing that relaxes me is having a bath!! Could you maybe have a bath with DS3? It might relax baby tits too!?

longestlurkerever · 17/03/2015 17:42

Glad to hear baby plink is doing well! Our first thread baby. Exciting times.

catnip85 · 17/03/2015 17:51

Congratulations plinky hope yr both doing well! I'm off for a tour of the delivery suite at Watford tonight. Nearly 33wks and wondering how much longer ive got left...

Chookford · 17/03/2015 18:20

catnip I was wondering about going to have a tour of the MLU, did you arrange this visit or did your midwife? I can't remember how it's done!!

bradders85 · 17/03/2015 19:54

Evening ladies, hope all is well and hope you are feeling ok tits and get a bit more comfortable.
catnip hope your tour went well too. I am just back from a tour round the unit at our local hospital - was the concluding part of our 3 antenatal sessions. Was good just to familiarise yourself with rooms etc but it did make everything seem very real......especially when we heard a woman screaming 'I can't do this anymore!!!!' OBEM tonight too!!

SmileyScooby · 17/03/2015 20:11

Tits sorry to hear you are having a hard time today and hope this evening is better

catnip hope you enjoyed your tour

chook we had a tour of MLU as part of antenatal class at the hospital, didn't see delivery suite just MLU (which had nice rooms, not too clinical etc) am hoping I can have baby there rather than on the other floor in delivery suite hehe

Sunshinesaz86 · 17/03/2015 21:04

I also had first ante natal class today. DP was the only man there and thought it would be funny to joke that 'he thinks labour is going to be worse for him'.....let's just say he didn't get any laughs and it went down like a lead ballon! Haha men!

Sorry to hear your feeling out of sorts tits hope it passes and u managed parents evening.

Yey on the snuzpod cock baby stuff is very exciting!

catnip and bradders glad you've had your tours all becoming very real now!

applecore0317 · 18/03/2015 05:57

Sorry you didn't have a good day tits hope today is better and that the parents evenings went quickly last night

desk assessment done and the adjustments she made to my chair seemed to stop the lower back pain, so worth having one if your work offers them

ooh exciting about the snuzzpod cocks my crib arrives in a few weeks, need to get a mattress for it but I remember when ordering it that it seemed like ages away

ha ha sunshine always would be the wrong place for men jokes :D

OBEM was good, got all gooey eyed when the babies arrived :)

Consultant appointment today, really hoping that if my cervix is looking good that I can either stop using the progesterone pessaries or at least lower the dose... they are not fun. Also hoping that again if all is good that we will be allowed to ummm get back to being able to dtd, its been a long five months Blush
30 weeks now, going crazy fast

SmileyScooby · 18/03/2015 06:29

Hope appointment goes well apple

catnip85 · 18/03/2015 07:26

Good luck for your appointment apple

chookford the tour was part of our antenatal classes. They're usually held at a local children's centre but wk 3 is at the hospital so we can familiarise ourselves with the facilities. I think most hospitals run regular tours though. Give them a call and see.

bradders and sunshine the tour totally made it feel real! No screamers at Watford last night but there were plenty of mummies with newborns. Seeing that plus the pics of baby plinks has really hit home for me. Were going to be mummies in a few wks! As you may have gathered, I'm freaking out a little bit!

Turquoisetamborine · 18/03/2015 07:39

Catnip glad you enjoyed your tour. I don't need one as I've actually stayed over in hospital to check out the facilities a few times lol.
I was let out yesterday with the same old no idea why I was bleeding. Had a good nights sleep last night though. Hospitals are exhausting.

apple hope you're allowed to at least reduce the pessaries. I took three a day until I was 12 weeks so know the hell of them. So uncomfortable.
sunshine that joke was never going to go down well!! Nice to meet other expectant mams though. I met some nice ones in hospital but were all about to give birth.
Off to hospital again for a scan today then midwife tomorrow. How did I ever have time to work?? Enjoy your days ladies.

Sunshinesaz86 · 18/03/2015 09:23

Haha no it wasn't turquoise I've tried to tell him many times every joke he tells isn't always funny lol! And certainly not under those particular circumstances! Blush

Ps glad your back out of hospital and hopefully you'll get some rest just a shame they can't tell u what's causing the bleeding.

catnip the freak out part hasn't hite yet but sure it will and sure it's very natural.

apple glad your chair is sorted and it has relieved your back pain. Good luck at your appointment today.

Three more days left in work and I'm seriously losing motivation as I've not got much to do workwise so days are slow! And my house needs a good spring clean so keep thinking I could be doing that instead. Ah well plenty of time before may!

applecore0317 · 18/03/2015 10:17

Shame Turquoise must be so frustrating for you! hopefully they will find the cause once littlun has arrived

Catnip I think we all must be a little bit, feeling very very real... :) especially reading the about 30 weeks thing this morning when it said that "your baby is now fully developed and in the final stages of growth"...

Glad you're home turquoise. Sorry it's all so stressful though. Good luck with the nursery tori.

My mood is so up and down atm. Felt quite positive on Monday after good scan and consultation. Then yesterday I cried on the tube. I am just so fed up of the anxiety. Luckily baby has been moving a lot since but every time she has a quiet moment I panic. Was so much more relaxed with dd but the miscarriages and gd mean I am just waiting for something to go wrong.

Feeling better today so have hung some pictures and a mobile in the nursery and have ordered new inserts for my reusable nappies with a voucher from the council. Also found some lovely wall stickers o ebay (thanks whoever pointed me in that direction) so will order those too. Can't decide between owls and butterflies though. Might get both soI can decorate the corner of my bedroom where she will sleep at first.

I like the sound of that longest - wasn't going to do any decorating as he'll be in with us when newborn but wall stickers I could do! Link to eBay stickers maybe? Smile

applecore0317 · 18/03/2015 13:45

Hope you feel better as everything progresses longest

Consultant appointment all fine, I asked about DTD but got a no, he explained it better this time, so whilst my cervix length has increased the main issue is that it's soft, so have to continue with the progesterone to keep it from softening further, should be able to stop that around 35ish weeks. Main thing is to get me to 36 weeks and after that he is happy for me to do as I please. Still at risk of pre term, I thought that the risk had gone now, but am just pleased that all looking ok at the moment and that I get seen every two weeks
