Hello Maysters. Gosh there is a lot to catch up on.
Sorry to hear about all the aches and pains and scary hospital trips. Glad everyone is generally doing ok.
and
to all!
Not long to go now, eh?
Today I've started throwing some bits into a hospital bag and have prewashed little bean's babygrows. It's definitely starting to feel more real, eeep!
Thankfully my MiL is fairly sane and kind (and my mother lives in a different hemisphere) but what is really getting up my nose is a bunch of random people, strangers and work acquaintances mostly, commenting on how big my belly is getting! Things like "looks like you only have 2 weeks to go!" and "are you sure that there is only one in there?"
Pregnancy rage and hormones make it very hard to not get snappy or tearfully start to compare my size to a small elephant seal... Luckily my midwife measured me as bang on target, otherwise my emotions would be all over the place. Anyone else had this? Or am I somehow luckily bumping into all the insensitive people in London??
