I have been missing a while lol and need to do some catching up.

So much going off alately just not checked in. Pure exhaustion, dp has worked every single day for the past 17 days morning till night and is right until sunday, kids have been getting up at 4.20am, after ds3 already getting up at least 5 times through night and then endless peeing and itchy skin and hot flushes and restless legs lol so feeling very sleep deprived. Ds2 has now been reffered to peadiatrics by health visitor for assessments for things such as autism- Quite relieved its finally been done in a way as ive been saying 2 year now its more then just behaviour issues, so finally they listened. The hospital sent me my appointment for the 24hour ecg thing, it is on the 15th april, iv told them to cancel it as by that point il have already been suffering for 2 months waiting for the appointment and il only have a month left to go. The doctor had told me id get it the week she reffered me.

Off to have a catch up of last few pages xx

These early mornings suck!!! At least we know we'll have each other to 'talk' to during the numerous night feeds Grin

Turquoise, sorry for the bleeding again. Must be horrible.

Justyouwait, hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to all thats having aches, pains and rough nights x

Turquoisetamborine · 16/03/2015 07:15

I literally got up for a wee 16 times last night. Managed to sleep from 10.30 to 1.30 then every half hour up for the toilet. This is getting beyond a joke!
At least I can drop DS at school then get back to sleep. Need to go to shop for toilet roll first though!
Sorry to those who also couldn't sleep.

Scottishgal78 · 16/03/2015 07:36

Aw mum you sound like you have so much on your plate. Hopefully things will quiten down soon. I teach autistic kids and a diagnosis is a step in the right direction. That way you and your son will get the support you need. x

Sunshinesaz86 · 16/03/2015 08:19

Hi ladies. Hope everyone is ok? Sorry to hear some people are suffering. turquoise glad your back out of hospital but boo to lack of sleep.

Sorry u have a lot to juggle and deal with mum and with DS2 fingers crossed it's a step in the right direction for u.

Hope u get to relax today just take it easy!

apple and leanne I do agree I think ppl feel the have a god given right to comment on pregnant woman's signs and shapes! Each time I see mum mum she tells me I've changed shape?? I don't know how many different 'shapes' apart from pregnant I can look! Grrrr!

Yesterday I had to leave my DM Mother's Day meal half way thru as started to get awful stomach pains coming and going and getting all hot n bothered not sure what started it. It could of been my now possibly too tight maternity pants so had to go home and get in some comfies to see if that helped luckily they subsided but thought at one point a trip to hospital was on the cards!

Also it's officially my last week in work this week! Can't believe I only have 5 days left then 8 weeks to chill and get organised. I won't know what to do with myself!

Hope everyone has a good day!

BeanCalledPickle · 16/03/2015 10:25

Hello All, can you imagine reading this when newly pregnant? You'd be like 'bloody hell. That sounds horrendous!'. I found having a new born less exhausting than being pregnant last time, if only because I wasn't kept awake worrying about work I should have been doing etc.

Did anyone read this article at the weekend? Aside from being marginally creeped out by feeding someone else's baby- though I totally get that it was entirely normal years ago and still is elsewhere- I couldn't help but think that in this situation I would have reached for the formula. The baby was starving! Not meaning to fuel any sort of BF v FF debate but do wonder quite how this woman didn't reach for a bottle!
What do you think?

Chookford · 16/03/2015 11:29

Morning ladies

Sorry to hear some of you are still suffering... Just think we are on the home straight now it won't be too long before these babies start to make an appearance!

scortish with reference to any tips the thing I am sure helped me was the birthing ball I sat on it all the time from about 38weeks and when labour started I bounced on it for about 3hours straight and I'm sure that played a part in her coming down so low without me having to push, by the time I went into hospital I was 6cm and she was so low the midwife commented it wouldn't take long to have this baby and she was right! Other than that I didn't do anything!

Chookford · 16/03/2015 11:29

Scottish even sorry!

applecore0317 · 16/03/2015 13:29

Have heard a lot of good things about birthing balls, so will definitely be getting one, my friend said also that sitting forwards on the edge of a chair so that your pelvis is tilted forwards helps them to engage :)

read that article Bean, not something I would feel comfortable with, but each to their own... I have always said though that if breastfeeding isn't working for me that I refuse to punish myself and feel like I am failing, I will express for as long as I can, but if I have to use a mix of breast milk and formula or formula entirely then so be it, as people keeps saying happy Mum = happy baby

FeelingBlessed77 · 16/03/2015 14:55

Had a lovely time in windsor. think I overdid it though, am sat in bed with a really sore back now.

applecore0317 · 16/03/2015 15:24

Glad you had a nice time feeling hope the back feels better

Am sat at work with back ache too and my bump is so tight today, anyone else get this?

Turquoisetamborine · 16/03/2015 16:28

Feelingblessed glad you had a good weekend away. Are you straight back to work or are you able to relax today?
Mum hope things get easier with your son, you aren't having an easy time of it are you.
Sunshine counting down the days with you til you finish. How nice!!

I'm back in hospital again after another huge bleed. Being kept in at least tonight. Same old routine, on a ward with three others but I remembered my earplugs this time so might even get some sleep. Baby is fine. Still no idea why I'm bleeding. I'm looking forward to my tea now as I had very little for lunch. Hope my dad brings me some nice food at visiting time. H is at work til 9 then straight back in the morning so son is staying at his grandad's. Hope he isn't worried about me.

Chookford · 16/03/2015 17:43

turquoise sorry to hear that... You really are having a tough time aren't you... Hope you manage to get some sleep this time..

Sorry you are having a shit time mum shocked that they couldn't get your appointment until april!! that's terrible

turquoise so sorry that you are in hospital again. Really hope they find out whats causing it

chook roll on maternity leave! Desk assesment tomorrow, hoping a better chair will help

Scottishgal78 · 16/03/2015 18:48

Aw turquoise no! Are they not able give you any answers at all?

chook definitely investing in a birthing ball!

bean read that article - I admire that woman's tenacity but I agree I would've reached for the formula. I've promised myself not to be hard on myself if bf doesn't work out.

Baby been moving so much today right down near my right hip. So much so that I've shouted 'ow!' in class a few times to worried kids faces. Got whooping cough jab today too. The nurse seemed to recognise me and said 'doesn't time fly?' And I had no clue who she was. Think I've seen so many medical professionals in the last 7 months I've lost track!

SmileyScooby · 16/03/2015 19:54

Evening all, had a rubbish day work wise but having a non work based evening to chill a bit. Wasn't helped by tiredness I think as even the slightest thing was peeing me off!! Was waking up every two hours last night and going to the loo.

turquoise I was going to write 'glad out if hospital and you and baby ok' but now I see that you are back in again :( hope they find out a reason for the bleeding soon.

just crikey one busy Mother's Day for you! Hope you've had some recovery today.

mum sorry to hear you are still suffering. That is rubbish re the date for the ECG like you say that is a long way away.

chook thanks for the tip re the ball! Will remember that, is there any difference between a 'birthing ball' and normal exercise ball? Was going to borrow exercise ball from a friend.

apple my bump has been tight/bloated like today, also swear it's a bit lower again today....

scottish my little man was giving me fanny daggers in class today...that was not fun at all!

Hope you all can put your feet up this evening x

Chookford · 16/03/2015 20:12

smiley no birthing/exercise ball are the same thing... As long as you get bouncing it should help!

KittyVonCatsington · 16/03/2015 22:37

Thinking of you Turquoise Flowers

You are doing wonderfully well mumx you should change your name to superman Grin

Not many more 'rubbish' days left Smiley!

Why is it, despite waking up at stupid o'clock, come bed time, I'm not dead tired??!!
