Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mumxof3x · 10/03/2015 10:22

Apple, im ok they are still happening, but im managing with it alot better now, just have to lay on the floor as soon as it starts. But if im out then I cant so it does get bad then.

Only pregnancy my boobs really changed was my first, think I went up a cup before id even missed my period lol. Stayed same size in my otgers, minus the giant dark nipples lol.

Turquoisetamborine · 10/03/2015 10:26

Ahhhh, I have my maternity bra on for the first time today, soooo comfy! I've worn my normal bras up until now. It seems to fit me fine in my normal size, 36DD. I don't want to get any bigger either leanne a handful is enough!

mum do you have to stay in hospital overnight for the tachycardia thing?

Royalsteph glad your son is at home. Can he do crafts or something like playdoh to keep him busy? Mine likes new magazines, it's the ultimate treat for him!

No more bleeding for me since Sunday so I'm going to go to the supermarket with H to carry the bags.

Glad you're managing it Mum still not nice for you though

Good that you have been signed off Tori have never heard of an umbilical hernia, is it something that will go away?

Yey to no more bleeding Turquoise hope you are still getting some rest

Chookford · 10/03/2015 10:57

Happy bday tits hope you have a lovely day..

mum glad to hear you are managing to cope with what I can only imagine is a very horrible and scary condition.

steph glad to hear your DS is managing ok, my dd broke her wrist when she was 18months and I remember the trying to keep her entertained without doing anymore damage!

tori glad to hear you are now off until next year, hope you start to feel better now, can the hernia rectify itself?

turquiose hooray for no more bleeding long may it continue!

I've gone up one cup size so far im now a 34H but I know when my milk comes in they will go up a few more sizes!! Confused

I have the consultant today, am hoping she will sign me off to give birth in the midwife led centre rather than labour ward, If she doesn't I may have to stomp my feet and wobble my bottom lip!

piglet81 · 10/03/2015 12:27

Oh dear Tori, you poor thing! Sounds like it's definitely for the best that you've been signed off

Hope everyone is doing OK today despite various illnesses and injuries. I've just had my wisdom tooth out, which was actually fine except I nearly fainted in the middle and gave them all a bit of a fright, I think! Numb and dribbly now - very attractive Grin

Sunshinesaz86 · 10/03/2015 13:31

yey to OBEM i love it, bet it'll be great being set in liverpools womans too, i have a friend who is being treated there and said its a lovely hospital.

i have been 'busy' today not that busy literally moved my cara few times due to wardens and walked back to office, checked a house and my pubic bone is literally killing me thanks to SPD really struggling, and on top of that saw a car crash this morning on the way to work and it really upset me, saw someone being lifted out of smashed vehicle and cried all the way to work! hormones i tell you!

Sunshinesaz86 · 10/03/2015 13:40

oohh sorry and happy birthday tits hope you have a great day x

Chookford · 10/03/2015 15:19

That's great news chook bet your pleased.

Goat u had a good appointment tori

Unfortunately the crash I saw there was a fatality the poor family! Just scary when u are off to work one minute and something like than can happen and often does.

Chookford · 10/03/2015 20:16

Oh no sun how awful!

tori glad you had a good midwife experience this time, and glad to hear your gtt was normal.

Thanks ladies it's a relief although baby is breech at the moment so I'm hoping by next growth scan it will have turned!

longestlurkerever · 10/03/2015 20:41

sunshine That is horrible. I am sorry you witnessed that - quite haunting I imagine.

Tori Glad you're signed off. Hope you start to feel a bit better.

Good news about the mlu chook I have basically given up hope I will be allowed it but have a mw appointment this week so will ask what the options are re mobile monitoring etc. After barely any appointments for months I suddenly have a spate. Whooping cough today (fine so far. Does it get more painful?), mw on Thursday, diabetes clinic and growth scan on Mon. Quite nervous about that one.

Kyz · 10/03/2015 21:07

Evening all :) 28+5 today, got my 28 week appt tomorrow :) Tomorrow is quite busy as the car needs to go for an MOT re-test, and some work beforehand, then i'm taking DS swimming and then going for my appt.

lina that's a lovely name :)

happy birthday Tits :)

glad you've been signed off tori :) and glad you had a good appt

KittyVonCatsington · 10/03/2015 21:12

Very scary these things Sunshine no one deserves a tragedy like that Sad

Hope being signed off means you can rest and keep safe for Baby Tori

Glad the procedure is over piglet -not nice!

Happy Birthday Tits Cake

Hoping the bleeding stays away Turqouise

steph hope DS recovers soon and is not in too much pain.

SmileyScooby · 10/03/2015 21:47

Tits you said about gaviscon adding up I got it free on prescription from doctors- big bottle!!. Have also got Tums for when in class (as they are cheap)

Turquoise glad all is ok, I'm going to be raiding Primark in Easter hols for bits and bobs, totally agree re not spending loads on those things you mentioned!

Leanne don't think mine have either but normal bras not as comfy now so maybe I've had slight changes, unlike bump which continues to grow - boobs look out of proportion with bump hehe

Piglet Owwie re wisdom tooth I hated having mine out, it was the noise I hated the most!!

Tori put your feet up x

Chook great news!!

sunshine sorry you saw that...it's not nice at all :(

Kitty am also itchy, not easy to scratch when you have a bump in the way!!

Have been slowly ticking some work things off but the list is still growing. Keep waking up every couple of hours at the mo, nearly falling asleep now so gonna head on up to bed. Zzzz

applecore0317 · 11/03/2015 10:30

Morning :)

Hope the bumps have stopped itching.

Am back on full days today, first day... already wishing I had done another week of halves, not for any other reason than I quite liked going home at lunchtime :D

7 weeks and 2 days to go!!!! 32 working days he he

piglet81 · 11/03/2015 13:15

I read that oatmeal baths (yes, really!) help with itching - put some porridge oats in an old pop sock or something and hang it on the tap so the water runs through it. Haven't tried it yet but keep meaning to!

32 weeks pregnant today, five and a bit weeks until maternity leave but only 22 of those days actually in work...yikes! Trying to figure out what I can actually do myself in that time and what I need to hand over.

Hope everyone's doing OK today.

Turquoisetamborine · 11/03/2015 14:37

Piglet hope your time left at work flies. Try not to do too much yourself and make use of the help available.
Apple hope your full days aren't too long. I like the sound of half days too!
Kitty did you get checked for obstetric colitis (I think that's right) with all the itching? I can't remember.
I am really mad. I had a couple of my close work friends over for coffee today (I'm signed off sick til maternity starts) and they said someone was shocked that the boss saw me in M&S food hall! How shocking that I would need to go and buy food. Am I supposed to sit in the house and never go anywhere and not eat?? I said hello to her at the time and she didn't even ask how I was. This was the same boss who had to get my office chair professionally cleaned because I'd bled all over it at work and had to be taken away in an ambulance. What an arsehole. I would love to be able to finish my time at work but my consultant says no way. My annual leave starts on 25th march then I go onto maternity leave so not much longer.
I was going to go for an Indian meal with work on Friday night for someone's hen do (she's 60, it won't be wild!) but now I don't know what to do. Boss isn't going. Grrr!!

longestlurkerever · 11/03/2015 14:43

turquoise her. Was it the boss who was disapproving or a different colleague? Maybe your boss just said "I saw Turquoise in m and s"? Try not to worry either way. She would be on thin ice if she tried to hold it against you.

Turquoisetamborine · 11/03/2015 17:06

Well it was the boss who saw me and it was the office stirrer who said it to my friend knowing it would get back to me so obviously boss had cause to mention it to everyone.
I feel ok most days but I bleed a lot too and I'm just so angry that they clearly think I'm making it up. It's true what you say though, there's nothing boss can actually do about it.
