Isn't it really strange when that happens Tori?! Gorgeous pics btw!

Justyouwaitandsee · 02/03/2015 22:16

Ooh meant to say that I had a funny moment on the train tonight. Found myself in the middle of a six seater section surrounded on all sides by men in suits merrily reading my hypnobirthing guide. Noticed a few funny, sideways glances but just don't have the time to read at any other time of the day!

shinyhappyone · 02/03/2015 22:25

Definitely apple. I sometimes jump in my seat!
NCT class number 1 done and dusted. Not sure if anyone is interested but here is my verdict...Group were really nice and down to earth so lots of giggles. Course leader slightly mad but friendly, knowledgable and gave clear and unbiased answers to the questions. Lèarnt a bit and looking forward to the next one!

leanne963 · 02/03/2015 22:49

I had this twice last week turquoise midwife just sent me in to the walk in centre to get the community midwife to check the heartbeat but them she told me that I should have just rang triage! So maybe give them a call, better to be over cautious I guess! Sure it is nothing, the midwife did say that it's more than likely the cervix being irritated.

leanne963 · 02/03/2015 22:52

Omg YES apple hah I feel like the is trying to burrow out of my stomach really makes me gasp ha!

Glad your NCT class went well shiny I had my nhs antenatal class today was really fun! Midwife was lovely and made me feel very confident and in charge of my labour! Gave some great tips like getting partner to help pack the hospital bag with you so they know where everything is as you will not be the one getting everything out of the Bag!

Blondie87 · 03/03/2015 06:50

Great bump pic apple! The best movements are when you're lying on your side and baby kicks back! I've given FB up for Lent so hope I'm not missing out on any exciting updates for the group.
Got second NCT session tonight. Enjoyed the first one, everyone was friendly and as unclued up as me! Keep having very vivid dreams like in Tri 1 but now most are baby related!

applecore0317 · 03/03/2015 07:06

Yes that's exactly it leanne like she is trying to burrow her way out :)

Not my bump pic Blondie might post one tomorrow as will be 28 weeks :D Glad your NCT classes are going well Blondie and shiny. Am looking forward to starting mine.

lovely bump just

tori It's so alien isn't it, DH normally feels it rather than looks and it freaks him out a bit ha ha was watching my belly dancing from side to side last night, she seems to move around more than kicking

bradders85 · 03/03/2015 07:10

morning everyone. Thanks for the heads up about OBEM - love that show but will be odd watching it having it with a bump of my own!
First day back in work today so going to see how I go. Got whooping cough jab tonight and first NHS antenatal class so pleased to hear a few of you have found them informative so far - hope ours is ok as dragging DP along with me. :)

catnip85 · 03/03/2015 08:14

Ive got my first NHS antenatal class tonight. Not really sure what to expect. What did they cover at yr classes leanne and shiny?

gingerfluffball · 03/03/2015 09:16

Oooh don't know if I can watch OBEM now that I actually have a bump and birth is imminent!! Was an avid viewer before and regularly teared up at the first mummy/daddy-baby cuddles. Don't think my hormones can take it at the moment! Grin

Jenni2legs · 03/03/2015 09:29

I am loving OBEM (it's on right now), watched one yesterday where the couple wanted a different room as the bed was too high, I found that quite funny. Cannot wait for Liverpool :)

I am having a few days off work as I am having Braxton Hicks (or cramps) every-time I move - they stop when I am sat still(?). They are making me feel like I am going to throw up, yuk. I find it really confusing when it's a stomach problem as it could just be a bug, but because I am pregnant I can't tell if it's related to the pregnancy or not...but felling better today than I did yesterday, so that's a good sign.

SmileyScooby · 03/03/2015 09:54

Hi all, haven't caught up as just back at work but have had anti d. Wasn't as bad as I had read online and thanks ladies for advice...although the one thing you omitted was that it was done in your bum not arm hehe so I was sat there arm all ready to go and mw said oh no it's in your bum not your arm hehe. Have a good Tuesday everyone and will catch up this evening!

Snooky17 · 03/03/2015 10:06

I had my anti d in my bum last time, but midwife says in my area they have changed it to now be the arm as it's better absorbed, strange how every trust is slightly different

applecore0317 · 03/03/2015 10:22

Lol Smiley I had to steroid injections in my Bum, so will at least feel a little prepared for Anti D :) Booked in for Friday 13th! ha ha

Hope you feel better Jenni

I can still watch OBEM, but I do cry once each baby is born, where as before I used to just go "awwwww"

Turquoisetamborine · 03/03/2015 11:27

What are all the anti d jabs for? Is it for rhesus negative blood types? The midwife says happily that I have O positive blood every time I see her! Like i have any control over my blood type!

I'm feeling faint and having palpitations from the low iron today, feeling very weak. Seeing the consultant tomorrow so will mention then but don't think they can do anything but continue with my iron tablets.

yes Turquoise its for the Rhesus Negative blood types :)

Hope the doctor can help you with the iron issue

Sorry youre still feeling ill Tori, particularly with being only able to have water.

leanne963 · 03/03/2015 13:39

Hey everyone! Been in triage since 10am, had some reddy waters come out of me when I got up this morning. Bit uneventful so far just waiting for the doctor to check me out :(

FeelingBlessed77 · 03/03/2015 13:42

Hope you're ok leanne

aberjen · 03/03/2015 13:45

Thinking of you leanne, fingers crossed

piglet81 · 03/03/2015 13:51

Hope you're OK, Leanne. Hopefully the fact that they're not rushing you in is a good sign - do hope you get seen soon though.

leanne963 · 03/03/2015 14:02

Thanks all! Apparently the doctors are rushed off their feet so they will see me soon, feel bad for DP who has work (self employed) to be getting on with! Just wanna get checked to see if I am ok!

Turquoisetamborine · 03/03/2015 14:10

Ah Leanne hope they find out what happened. Just be prepared that they might keep you in overnight, I was kept in for two nights when the same thing happened.
