Please some of you ladies have enjoyed some pampering too :)

shinyhappyone · 02/03/2015 17:25

1st NCT class tonight. Bit apprehensive. Will it be of any use...?!!

kittiker · 02/03/2015 17:34

Thanks for all the messages of support. Snooky, sorry for your losses, too.

Glad you had a nice break Apple. Mull was fab though the weather was terrible. We're going back in the summer to take baby on his first glamping trip so that should be a bit of an adventure!

Chookford · 02/03/2015 17:58

toriwhat lovely and beautiful pics!! Thanks for sharing Smile

Apple what a nice spa break you had-well deserved after the last few weeks you have had!

Definitely book a pregnancy massag for your birthday Chookford it will be bliss!

Scottish brilliant update -thanks for the heads up from me too!

Are growth scans borough/county specific or are they scheduled for specific reasons? I don't think my borough offers them as was told at my Anomaly scan that would be it Sad I'll just have to settle for guesses as to what she will look like which is fun!!

kitty thanks, think I will test myself!! My growth scans are due to me having Graves' disease so I have to have them at 28,32 & 36 wks.. Had he same with my dd too and she was fine so hoping this time will be the same!

Chookford · 02/03/2015 18:22

Treat myself not test!!

KittyVonCatsington · 02/03/2015 18:36

Ah, so it is for specific reasons and I'm sorry you both have them-I will stop moaning I promise!! Grin

Haha no problem kitty it is nice to have the extra scans to see mini chook more often! Wink

Blondie87 · 02/03/2015 19:02

Ahh I love OBEM! Although when I watched it I wasn't pregnant... Where are they filming it for this series?
At my midwife appt last week my fundal height 28w 5 days was 29cm. Just wondering what others were to gauge what's normal?

My midwife and consultant measure different... very confusing.. was measured at 25cm at 26 +5 with the midwife and measured at 26cm at 26 weeks with the consultant.....

Chookford · 02/03/2015 19:50

blondie its in Liverpool this series...

SmileyScooby · 02/03/2015 19:56

Thanks ladies for info about the anti d jab and tips!!

Tori loving those pics!!

Am not sure about watching OBEM...think I will scare myself! Wouldn't mind In The Club coming back though!!

Kitty think it's just if you are being monitored more - either because of baby concern or your own health as I am being monitored more growth on baby lung they noticed at 21 week scan - which looks like has nearly gone at last scan woooohoooo! and like chook said its not a bad thing as such as get to see baby more, think I would go crazy if the last time I saw baby was at Christmas (so I do feel for you too not being able to see, although baby is getting big now and doesn't fit completely on the screen!!)

SmileyScooby · 02/03/2015 20:07

Blondie Dr measured me at 24+5 as being 26, midwife measured me at 28w as 29.5w so am measuring bigger.

Am nearly 30w, does anyone else feel like bump has got heavier? Mine has definitely got bigger and back is aching a bit more tonight but was on my feet most of the day today.

FeelingBlessed77 · 02/03/2015 20:24

smiley. Yes bump definitely heavier this week. I'm 30+1 today

Turquoisetamborine · 02/03/2015 20:29

Smileyscooby yes I feel huge and uncomfortable now, I feel like I have something stuck to my front. Which I do as I don't seem to have put weight on anywhere else!!

I measured 29cm at 29 weeks which is spot on.

I've had some brown discharge on my pad today. Anyone else had this? It was my first day back at work after 3 weeks so hope I haven't overdone it. I'm feeling baby move plenty though.

Threesoundslikealot · 02/03/2015 20:30

I feel very weighty and tired now too.

Fundal height measurements can change by the hour, especially if done by different people. In my first pregnancy I was measured 3cm smaller by a doctor than the midwife had found me the day before and got sent for an immediate growth scan on the back of it! Baby was fine.

My trust scans everyone at 36 weeks although that changes all the time. Last time round, which was only two years ago, they scanned at 32 weeks instead and the time before that, another two year gap, they didn't do a late scan at all, although I did have the growth scan. After about 30 weeks you can't see much as the baby is so big!

Apologies for not following up all the posts I've missed. I'm glad to see so many of you have had relaxing treats, and really sorry to read that others have had sad times.

Had my whooping cough jab this evening. So far no effect at all, long may that last.

BeanCalledPickle · 02/03/2015 20:43

Hey hey all. I'm 30+4 today, two months yesterday until section. Baby now where she should be so collosal pressure on bladder and in ribs. Really really struggling with toddler! And I'm only on my own with Her a day a week. The pain in my neck and back from dealing with carrying her is immense. Pregnancy was so much easier last time. I'm the only second timer in yoga and they all go home at the weekend to rest and chill. I could really do with some of that!

applecore0317 · 02/03/2015 20:49

Sorry you're having a tough time bean

turquoise try and rest if you can and give the midwife a call tomorrow, probably just overdoing it slightly as you said

applecore0317 · 02/03/2015 21:46

anyone else get movements that literally make you jump or gasp? I don't know why, but some of them just do :)

Justyouwaitandsee · 02/03/2015 21:57

I do apple! Not so much anymore...I think he/she is running out of space!...but a couple of weeks ago (around 28-30) I was getting some proper hard jabs which made me say ow out loud in the office!

Can't believe I am now 32wks - the time seems to be flying by. Feel sorry for everyone who is suffering. I actually feel pretty good. A million times better than the horrendous time that was the first trimester. I keep remembering how I would groan when I read how much worse the third trimester would be, but wish I could go back and tell myself that it will all be ok!

Here is my latest bump pic for anyone not on the FB group!

Scottishgal78 · 02/03/2015 21:58

Oh yes apple sometimes I'm looks ooya! turquoise I've had brown discharge a few times. Phoned each time and always been told to go in if there's red blood. That's only happened once and everything was fine.
