Random thought of the day, when would you consider yourself heavily pregnant? Grin

Siarie I'm 33+5 and I think I've felt very pregnant this last week (making unattractive noises when turning over in bed, starting to get more achey, tossing and turning all night long, bending over getting harder, etc). Also bump feels much bigger and in the way! But I guess it will vary from person to person.

smogsville · 23/02/2015 12:01

Well we're all about the same as K-Middy who was described in paper last week as 'heavily preg'.

Squatting LOLZ for extreme pregnancy sounds like a bad American cable show!

I'm starving. I think that must mean I count as heavily preg.

31+5

BrixtonBunny · 23/02/2015 12:06

Squatting x-post - unattractive noises must be the norm now! Wink

Love that description Squatting - I know just how you feel!

Been for a walk around Lymington and now I feel I need to sleep (or at least sit) for a week to recover!!!stupid hips and back. Did find some really cute baby stuff in one of the charity shops though so it was worth the hill!

PenguinPoser · 23/02/2015 13:47

I definitely feel heavily pregnant (34+3) would say I have done for about 3 weeks since my pelvis and hips started hurting, and I can neither get onto or off the sofa without the noises!! And similar to smogs I'm also constantly hungry!

TinyTear · 23/02/2015 13:47

33+2 and heavily now...

waddle waddle waddle

smogsville · 23/02/2015 13:50

Speaking of hungry you all need to eat this now.

Tesco finest Devonshire style fudge West Country yoghurt with channel island whipping cream.

I can't believe something so delish came from Tesco! It's basically a pudding pretending to be a yog.

skyra13 · 23/02/2015 13:50

34+1 hear and making noises like an old women!!
And can't seem to stop eating!! so hungry all the time!

AnniaFausta · 23/02/2015 13:58

At 32+5, I'm definitely feeling/looking properly pregnant but I wouldn't say heavily pregnant just yet - I'm still moving about more or less normally, and I'm not sure I can contribute the knackeredness/getting out of bed noises to pregnancy rather than general time-of-year grumpiness! I reckon it can't be long before it does start feeling like being 'heavily' pregnant, though. Five weeks until maternity leave begins!

cinnamongreyhound · 23/02/2015 13:59

Ahhh my great aunt used to live in lymington FiRaffe, we used to go and stay in the summer with my dad. March up that hill at 40 weeks a few times if baby isn't out!!

As late as possible skyla13, at least 36 weeks though.

Nunkie pregnancy orgasms are definitely better!

I feel heavily pregnant after about 4pm! I'm mostly ok early on during the day but by the evenings I get very stiff :( I feel best when I'm running, my body doesn't feel pregnant at all just struggle with getting enough oxygen in!!!

cinnamongreyhound · 23/02/2015 14:00

Should probably say 34weeks today.

Nunkie · 23/02/2015 14:14

Cinnamon maybe its to do with increased blood flow to the area, do you know?

LOL Squatting - you've def hit the nail on the head with that description.

Brixton Snap, I'm also 33 + 5 and feeling quite heavily preggers now too. :0)

What's been amazing is just how awful I am at getting up stairs now, and have been for quite some time. Quite often have to bend over and take a breather afterwards (and that's as someone who is walking quite briskly and still jogging occasionally, albeit very lightly :0)

How's everyone's bump looking btw? Mine looks ..err.. extremely bumpy to me at this point!!

Wineandchoccy · 23/02/2015 15:05

I definitely feel heavily pregnant now, DH roared laughing this morning when I was trying to put tights on. I think when you are pregnant your arms should grow a bit longer to help put socks on, paint toenails etc

Had a busy weekend sorted our bedroom out, tidied wardrobes an ebayed and charity shopped stuff I don't want. DH is off today painting a feature wall and moving furniture to fit babies crib in. Bought a poang chair from Ikea for nursing in yesterday as well.

I asked in Mothercare yesterday about nursing bras and they said ideal time to be measured is from 36 weeks. I don't know what they are like but Primark do nursing bras for £5 I thought they might be ok for night time and then get better ones for during the day.

32 + 6 today

Nunkie · 23/02/2015 15:14

Hahah - good thinking Wine.. temporary orangutang-arms to help you thru the latter half of the pregnancy :0D

Ah, handy to know about the Primani bras! (my jaw has been dropping at the standard prices tbh, tho I guess its a good idea to invest in a good one)

Siarie · 23/02/2015 15:26

Whoops! I put a hypnobirthing thing on Spotify and was lying on the sofa listening to what it told me to do. Next time I know I've fallen asleep, two hours later! I must have needed that nap.

Good to hear that lots of you are waddling your way around, I heard someone ask me today if I felt heavily pregnant hence the random thought. I can't do my toenails and I'm not going to ask my DH as he is terrible at that sort of thing. He's already doing my perennial massage daily bless him, I think if I asked him to get good with a nail brush he might look at me funny.

Wine I couldn't wait any longer for my bras, I was finding all kinds of outfits so I didn't have to wear mine they were tight (and I had already changed them once). I bought some new ones in mothercare on the weekend and I've gone up to a D cup!

Wineandchoccy · 23/02/2015 15:35

Siarie big boobs are a complete novelty to me I was a 32b before pregnancy now I'm a 32DD goodness knows what size they will be when my milk comes in, DH has already nicknamed me Jordan Grin

Oh and I've got baby brain, DH has just rung me to say when did I last empty the Hoover because it appears I have thrown away the filter from inside! Of course I did it Friday morning and guess when our bins are collected yep Friday, whoops!

MoominMama22 · 23/02/2015 15:41

Laughing at your pregnancy dribble. I've not really noticed, but is it to do with just mega deep sleep? I seem to sleep really lightly most of the night, tossing and turning and getting up to pee.... Then in the early morning I fall into DEEEeeeep sleep. I always wake up with such a squished face ( this morning saw myself as an old woman with deep wrinkle lines from my pillow!) and really groggy and out of it.

I've got 2 big stretch mark lines below belly button and today noticed a sort of halo of wee marks around my belly button. Im going to stop complaining about it because if I have to hear one more person suggest bio oil I'll flip. Much like the , oh you have morning sickness (HG) have you tried ginger? Comments. Thank you very much but please eff off. Haahaaa

And for the record YES I've tried bio oil and every other type of balm, cream and oil daily since before 12 weeks and ...spraying ginger vomit out of your nose burns.

RL I feel exactly the same when people talk about bits of their baby they can feel. How can they tell? I'm surprised the midwife can even tell... And seeing as even MWs are sometimes wrong I think people think they know what they are feeling.

chicken I agree that H&M do well with maternity. I've got great jeans and I've got a couple of nursing vests which I'm hardly out of but my only problem is I don't think they will actually work post birth because they don't give much allowance for boob. I'm busting out now never mind when milk comes in!

squat & lauren My DH is the same, hints don't work and what should be obvious never seems to be to him! so I am going to just have to be extremely frank when the baby comes and I need a hand. Its hard wording things to them so you don't sound like a bitch.
Any tips welcome!

annia I love love love the lamps.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Im on mat leave now, its snowing and im sitting by the fire eating hobknobs so it still feels like a Sunday! My brother came to visit with loads of baby stuff. A Moses basket hooray, we have somewhere to put bubs if he or she appears :)

34+2

MoominMama22 · 23/02/2015 15:43

Fail. I missed the last page so my mega long post is already outdated Blush

MoominMama22 · 23/02/2015 15:49

Re bra and boob chat- I was a 32FF now wearing ,a probably wrong, 36G. Sad they are massive and get hot and sweaty as everything seems to push them together in a hideous way. Not loving it.

ChickenMe · 23/02/2015 15:58

I think I'm kinda heavily pregnant. 34+2. Bump suddenly got noticeably bigger and heavier yesterday. My last week at work this week. Tbh it's the right time, Ive had enough. Feeling extremely slow but don't want to commit to the heavily bit as I know there's still further to go!
Good tip re Primarni bras. Saw some in H&M, not sure about Sains or Asda. I hate bras. I've got a large back measurement for my size. I'm going to be over 40 chest now I know it and I don't know how big they go. Lots of side boob hanging around now!!

skyra13 · 23/02/2015 16:09

I am measuring at 40 under and 48 bust!! should be fun to find a bra in that size!! Think may just go for Sleep/sports bras.
