You are not alone I have never felt hiccups either

saralou100 · 29/09/2006 08:48

debz, you have just described my nightly mission too!! only minus the pillows, i don't find they help and just make me hot!!!

mygirl, sis doesn't use mn, she uses i-village

saralou100 · 29/09/2006 08:50

oh, and it's our anniversary tomorrow, does that mean i'm gonna have to do 'it'? shit, what excuses can i come up with!!

Debz99 · 29/09/2006 08:59

You may well have to oblige LOL My DP only gave me a kiss the other night and that was it, he has been "neglected" for so long I got the "see what you do to me" speech, felt sorry for him so obliged ! Not that I found it particularly enjoyable but he did and hopefully that will see him through til LO is 18 LOL !!!

saralou100 · 29/09/2006 09:11

i did that the other night, after being away from him for a few days i felt he deserved a little attention... maybe that will cover me for tomorrow!!

i have a giant 8 legged freak in my house... help!!!!

NatalieJane · 29/09/2006 09:12

PMSL LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL between the pillows and sex you lot have just made my morning!! LMAO

I am off into town to pay the bills and get some shopping, then home to pack to go to my mums, get DS from school, probably spend the afternoon arguing with him just how many toys/games/DVD's/DS games he can fit (or not!!) in his bag, and then will wait around for DH to get home and pack his stuff (which I have been telling him to do for two nights now!) And then we have the most wonderful 5 hour drive down the A1, such a beautiful motorway, you can honestly tell the difference between two fields by the end of it!

So, if I don't catch you again until after the weekend, have a good one, and if I do catch you again, keep the sex chat up, it makes me !!!

TC everyone xxx

NatalieJane · 29/09/2006 09:13

P.S. Sara, hoover it, take the hoover outside and leave it there for an hour or so, if the suction doesn't kill it, it would have wondered off by then!

Urgh, I hate spiders.

jamcrumpet · 29/09/2006 09:17

had a terrible sleep, DH had a night out and during his very deep sleep refused to turn over to stop the snoring and stole several of my 'essential' pillows!

LOL this morning though at this discussion, not sure he deserves it but I think I'll have to indulge in a little this weekend as it's really been too long....think is it's gonna take me most of Sat to prepare for a bit of hanky panky what with all the waxing & trimming I require not to mention the mental preparation. My LO never seems to sleep, think sex will be a little wierd with it hiccuping away!

Have a nice Friday

saralou100 · 29/09/2006 09:17

i've hoovered it.. but it's pissing down with rain so the hoover shall have to remain indoors - lets hope the suction did the job!! i'm now glancing around the walls in case it comes back to get me!!!

Charleesunnysunsun · 29/09/2006 09:36

LOL! It's ok for all you having sex! I was at the emergency dr's for ages last night begging not to be hospitalised!

It started when i went for a wee and fell off the toilet in sudden agonising back pain, i went4 to the out of hrs dr who did a urine sample that showed my blood and protien levels were off the scale!

So she started asking all these questions was i feeling ill, dizzy, sick, headache? to which i said no i feel fine except the pain. She asked where the pain was i told her right down low in my back.
My temp and b/p were fine and LO's heart beat was fine and it was wiggling away merrily.

She said in theory the amount of infection my urine sample was showing i should be feeling really ill and have some other symptoms and she wanted me to go to hospital as she was stumped as to what was up.

I had ds at home with a sitter so it was a total no go area, luckily she let me go home with some anitbiotics on strict instructions to get my butt to hospital should i feel even slightly worse. She was worried about pre eclampsea but my blood pressure was fine and i had no swelling ect.

So that was a fun night! I feel fine this morning so i have no clue of whats going on.

Anyway dp and i had sex last week (dp's birthday) and it really hurt so it was a quicky and is not happening again for a while!

LeBe · 29/09/2006 10:04

Oh dear, i felt sad enough about not being on here for my daily chats but after reading your convos on sex and sleeping arrangements, i feel more sad because it haas put a huge smile on my face!

Charlee - Hope you continue to feel fine
Mygirl - what were you thinking! I dont think i could attempt it with me just lying like a beach whale let alone anything else!!!
Saralou - i find naming the spider helps, we have one in our office called 'trevor' im not so scared of him now.

Anyway (sorry to make you all feel worse) but went to sleep at 9.30 last night, woke at 12 for a wee and then slept right through until 7!! Even got up and did hair and make up, only cos i dont really want to be remembered as the ugly, fat one with worsel Gomage hair! Also went to tescos and brought quite a few cakes (couldnt decide which ones so brought them all) so help yourselves - carrot cake, dougnuts, pecan, cookies ...

saralou100 · 29/09/2006 10:07

ooh dear charlee, that doesn't sound like fun!!! drink lots of water today and some cranberry juice!! take care!!

saralou100 · 29/09/2006 10:10

lebe, the spider was huuuuuuge, i'm not exaggerating.. i live near a heath and we get these mammoth spiders all through september thick legs and big bodies.. naming it would not have helped!! i have a spider called fred that lives in my cars wing mirror though!!

Ah well I have started already. One of my bosses has just called to say thanks for all the hard work over the years and goodbye - Now i'm in tears again .

Sarah - ARRGGGG about the spider - am totally with you, they make my skin crawl!
Charlee - Gosh, your not having alot of luck lately are you. Hope you are feeling better today.
Lebe - enjoy your last day and the cakes

Am totally with everyone on the sleeping things now - its getting ridiculous. I can't sleep on my right side because that is where the babies head is, its so uncomfortable. I have a little routine of going to the loo just before I turn the light out at night try and make sure I only need to get up once in the night ..... oh no, not last night - 3 times I was up as well as once just before bed and once as soon as I woke up this morining.

And the breathlessness - it's horrendous atm

OP posts:
Delia · 29/09/2006 10:27

For those of you who have trouble rolling over in bed do you also find you keep pushing your dh/dp out? It's far to painful to attempt it in one spot so i use the whole bed, i've woken up to him bumping off the floor a few times . As for sex, i have a low lying placenta and bleed if we try it so DH knows it is well and truly off the menu at the moment as i don't want to panic.

Charlee - please take it easy today (nag nag)
Sara - i just avoid rooms where possible if i know there's a spider and then send DP in asap, however if they are in the bath i get the shower on and stand there flushing it down the plug hole shouting die die die!

LeBe · 29/09/2006 11:35

Saralou - if naming it doesnt help i find having 3cats does, they eat them before they get anywhere near me luckily cos i hate them (except Trevor).
Delia - my dp sleeps next to the wall allowing me easy access to get out and to the toilet the required 14 times a night! So it is usually me who ends up about to fall off the edge.
FHLH - Ah dont be sad, ive managed to really hold it together so far but no goodbyes yet so we will see! x

LeBe · 29/09/2006 14:19

saralou100 · 29/09/2006 14:40

delia - i have no trouble rolling over and pushing dp out, superking bed!!!! we barely know if each other is their!!

i've just bought a lot of food from tesco's.. i'm so hungry lately! can't fit it all in the freezer!! gonna have to eat some 1st!

NatalieJane · 29/09/2006 14:54

Just a quickie before I go to get DS from school

LOL MyGirl, my sister used to eat daddy long legs when she was little.

We get lots of huge huge huge spiddly spiders in here when it rains, we are right on the edge of the countryside, so we also get moths the size of my palm (really not kidding - the first time I saw one I thought it was a bat!) and lots of frogs and toads. We have woken up to geese in the back garden, and even a stork on the telegraph pole over the road!! LOL Ducks and chickens plod up and down the road like they own it, they will not move out of the way for anything, and we have a peacock, who no one seems to know who feeds it or where it actually belongs, it justs walks about! Along with the horses and ponies and livestock, it is like a big bloody farm yard round here sometimes!! LOL

Will try to get again before we leave tonight, xxx

(Oh, Lebe, enjoy the maternity leave, make sure you get round to your mums to give us all an update as often as you can, and don't sit around watching discovery health all day - it is very scary!!!)
