Around 35wks, I think Smile

YellowWellies · 30/08/2014 18:37

She had her last at 37 weeks and thought she'd go early again. I have a similar nagging feeling. Eeek hope that pattern doesn't follow for us too until this one flips head down. Shock

OP posts:
ohthegoats · 30/08/2014 18:40

34 weeks

binkybunny · 30/08/2014 18:40

Yellow I too thought it was you but just raced over to FB how exciting Grin

Can I be added to the list as also on the app and can't cut and paste.

Binkybunny, dc1, girl, edd 10 October

Shirehobbit · 30/08/2014 18:40

I have the same fear. I was 38+4 last time.

YellowWellies · 30/08/2014 18:42

I was 35+6 last time and whilst the wee bugger was breech he was at least head down!

OP posts:
ohthegoats · 30/08/2014 18:43

Me and the boyf were both early by 2 weeks. Both first children. Wonder if it's hereditary... that would give me another fortnight, which I can get my head round. 5 more weeks makes me want to cry.

Shirehobbit · 30/08/2014 18:46

Just like last time, I work to 42wks in my head - I think I'd have a complete hissy fit post 40wks, otherwise. My default setting is that they'll be here by November.

fedupofrainydays · 30/08/2014 18:51

Bit confused. Why are lots of people with sept due dates on oct thread?! Is it because they think will be late... Or dates got moved at scan?

BadgerInBury · 30/08/2014 18:53

Could someone add me please? BadgerInBury, DC1, girl, EDD 4th October.

Really hoping we make it to at least 38 weeks - we just went to paint the nursery ceiling after (finally) getting the roof fixed and half the plaster came tumbling down at first touch! Thank God for my dad and his plastering skills...

YellowWellies · 30/08/2014 18:57

Goats early birth can be due to hereditary factors. I was 7 weeks early, DH was 4 weeks early but my twin sister's two kids were 13 weeks early and 2 weeks late.

Me23 · 30/08/2014 19:22

Think it's time for me to be brave and join the fb group, how do I join?

Captainmcgraw · 30/08/2014 19:22

having so much pelvic floor pressure now can hardly sit down. Sorry if tmi but I think maybe I have piles/anal fissures or something as bleeding quite a bit every time I have a poo and sometimes blood just in knickers randomly (definitely from bum). I think it's reasonably normal at this stage but will mention to consultant on Monday. Anyone else or just me?!

mrsb87 · 30/08/2014 19:27

fedup my due date was early October til my 12wk scan and they brought me forward. It was already too comfy to change threads at that point!

mrsb87 · 30/08/2014 19:30

me23, Kirsti is in charge of the fb page. If you pm her she can tell you how to get added Smile

gunwalloe · 30/08/2014 19:37

Thanks me23 I won't worry about collecting the anti bs

fedup my LMP made me due 4th Oct scan pushed me back to 30 Sept and planned caesareans pushed me another week back so now 23rd Sept

I'm not a FB user who is in labour?

gunwalloe · 30/08/2014 19:38

Captain I have the same I turn the water red when I have a poo

YellowWellies · 30/08/2014 19:54

Fed up yes my niece was 27+3. I always mentally say a big thank you once I get past that point in pregnancy. She was 2lb at birth and went down to 1lb 14oz at her lightest - she's now a 50th centile hard as nails 3 year old. I didn't worry about going into labour at 35+6 as he felt massive in comparison. Its probably made me both assume I'll go early and laissez faire about it once I hit the golden 30 weeks. I'd really like to hit 34 weeks this time.

Hello sorry also having tech problems

Happytimes31 DC1, surprise! EDD 15th October

Missus2ndwife · 30/08/2014 20:06

I'm due 28 Oct but I know consultant won't let me go over this as I'm 'old'. If anything she'll want to induce mid Oct at 38 weeks.

Hubbie has decided he is now nesting!! Itching to get nursery ready when the painter hasn't finished, and he just told me I should get my hospital bag ready - just in case.

I find this hilarious when not just 2weeks ago he was telling me we had loads of time.

Lulu298 · 30/08/2014 20:15

It sounds like piles/anal fissure captain. I've bled for the last four days when going to the loo so you're not alone! I've had anal fissures before I got pregnant so was not surprised when they kicked off again. My doctor has prescribed cream which I haven't used yet as sometimes the blood stools on its own but will use it thus time if it drags on.
