Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Tiredness is a constant here too. Though didn't feel so bad when a non pg friend told me she went to bed at half 8 last night!! I usually try and hold out til 10... Wink

You certainly will! Grin

wilhelmeaner · 24/06/2014 18:54

Oh I'm joining the nausea club. Back to feeling majorly exhausted too. Today was tough.

You will just have to search about slowly Dulcet. Will probably be quite low down and to one side. But I didn't use one until later in my pregnancy so not sure if that makes a difference.

Well done on the shopping Nessa. Don't worry about the stuff not fitting. This is the one time in our lives it's ok to put on weight.

JuniDD · 24/06/2014 19:00

On the weight thing, I've put on a stone and a half...and I'm not bothered at all! It's a very nice feeling. Smile

hope you find the HB soon dulcet, I'm dying to hear the heartbeat. Hope the midwife does a doppler at my next appointment, two weeks to go.

HungryHorace · 24/06/2014 20:54

Oh no, so many of you are feeling rough. :-( Hope it gets better soon for you all.

RPopz, yes, I remember where that is, but was never really that near to there. I lived opposite the Royal Hallamshire in the 3rd year, but that's as close as I got to a hospital there!

The bus from town to Meadowhall used to go through Manor. Grim indeed!

And an 8am scan? Urgh, early. But, on the plus side, no waiting til the afternoon and not being able to concentrate!

Dulcet, you need to be checking right down by your bikini line, probably to one side, as Wil said. It is a bit soon for you really though. I'd give it a few weeks and go again!

Being desperate to hear the heartbeat feels like something I did ages ago...I'm being seriously battered by this baby. They're far, far more violent than DD ever was! And internal rummaging is grim indeed. Like baby's scrabbling to get out vomit

Juni, I got the Doppler at 24 weeks (and at VBAC clinic at 22 weeks!). I love it! Not many appointments now though, then I'll have squishy baby instead!

Oh, YY to tiredness. I am utterly exhausted. Permanently.

OP posts:
Minion · 24/06/2014 21:36

The tiredness isn't so bad for me but I'm generally a sleepy so and so, so it probably made no difference to me. I did think today about how, early on I would moan at 8 and go to bed at ten, but I can go through till 11 now, so maybe that's as good as it got for me.
Defo comes and goes popz, I felt fine till 2 days ago, but it's back with a vengeance. Lost my appetite completely, and nothing tastes right.

Ooh I may investigate dopplers.. Are they safe to use etc? I'd love to settle down with a book MN and a good heartbeat.

How exciting though, at the moment, girls eh?

FurryScoob · 25/06/2014 04:57

First day off & I'm wide wake, woke myself up farting! Blush
There really isn't anything lady like about pregnancy.

Hope all of you feeling rough have a better day today

rpopz good luck with the scan

20 week scan for us tomorrow & the nerves are slowly creeping back in

wilhelmeaner · 25/06/2014 06:38

Good luck Popz and furry, hope all goes well.

Had practically no sleep so today is going to be fun.

Dopplers totally safe Min. Can be frustrating if you can't find it though!

JuniDD · 25/06/2014 07:05

good luck today rpopz xx

Nessalina · 25/06/2014 07:40

Good luck for the scan today Rpopz!
And you too Scoob!

DulcetMoans · 25/06/2014 08:55

Today is the day popz! Hope everything goes perfect for you and you get a kind sonographer!

Agreed there is nothing ladylike in pregnancy furry, farting yourself awake is pretty special though. haha!

RPopz · 25/06/2014 10:28

OMG! You've been moved earlier too! Congrats popz! What are you going to do with the day now?! Online shopping!

Minion · 25/06/2014 11:53

AWWWWW!
So cute!
How far did they move you fwd?

RPopz · 25/06/2014 12:09

Original edd was 5th Jan - so it was a pretty good estimate really!

Unfortunately have been moved to consultant led care as I need a cervical lengthing scan - had a cervical biopsy a couple of years ago which was "borderline" too big and may present risk of premature labour.

RPopz · 25/06/2014 12:11

Whoops the dog pressed send for me!! Too knackered to contemplate anything else yet today!! I have my Bounty pack to peruse and maybe coffee with the sister. And Mr.Rpopz might be finishing early Grin

wilhelmeaner · 25/06/2014 12:59

Ah i see all the info is here, ignore me on the other thread. Great news that all is well and not a bad thing at all to be under consultant. They"ll keep a close eye on everything. Enjoy your day off!

HungryHorace · 25/06/2014 13:03

There's some good threads around about shortened cervixes, RPopz.

I know there's optimum lengths, but can't recall them.

At least it's a known entity and you'll be under the consultant. :-) xx

DulcetMoans · 25/06/2014 13:55

I am really sorry to bring the thread down but I snuck off for a private scan at lunch today and I am afraid its not good news. No heartbeat and measuring somewhere between 7-8 weeks. Just waiting for EPU referral which hopefully will be today. Not sure what happens next, bit in limbo.

Obviously am devastated but it's just one of those things.

Still delighted for all of you and so grateful for all the support I have had here. Means a lot.

HungryHorace · 25/06/2014 14:12

Oh no, Dulcet. I'm so, so sorry. hugs

Did you have an inkling, or would you have had the scan anyway?

I really hope you can join us again really soon. Xx

OP posts:
RPopz · 25/06/2014 14:12

Oh Dulcet Sad What brought that on? Could you not find anything with the doppler yday? I'm so sorry xxxxx Thanks

DulcetMoans · 25/06/2014 14:16

Oh nothing to do with the doppler - just my own paranoia. I guess you can call that an inkling. Just felt different.

RPopz · 25/06/2014 14:19

I'm so bloody gutted for you Sad Sad Will you get your infertility referral back? Hope you're not working this afternoon. Massive hugs x

wilhelmeaner · 25/06/2014 14:44

Shit Dulcet I'm so so sorry. It's strange how you sort of just know isn't it? Totally understand if you need time out from here but if not, we're here to hold your hand. Good luck at the EPU, thinking of you xxx Thanks
