Just Shagging Grads Thread 9 - Roll Up, Roll Up all you graduated Viroids!

HungryHorace · 07/06/2014 21:41

Welcome to the 9th grads thread...celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed. :-)

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 24th outing!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

For those not in the know, a viroid is an autocorrected version of 'ladies' from the 1st JS thread, which then stuck.

So, roll call below please, viroids. :-)

Haha! They always know just the right thing to say Hmm

Nessalina · 23/06/2014 22:05

All the best for the scan Rpopz, I could tell you til I'm blue in the face not to get nervous, but you will anyway! I hope it's fab and you get a great view of mini Popz Smile

JuniDD · 23/06/2014 22:16

I watched that programme. Depressing.

Good luck tomorrow rpopz, enjoy! x

RPopz · 23/06/2014 22:19

Depressing indeed. That road with the Roma Slovacs vs Asians is where I stand waiting for a bus twice a day... Hmm

Scan is on Weds morning, thanks guys Smile xx

DulcetMoans · 23/06/2014 22:32

Not long now popz! Are you planning to announce wider afterwards?

I think I've got this crochet thing now too popz, now just got 7mnths to get a blanket done!

Nessalina · 24/06/2014 06:35

Have been so sleepy and slept in all week. Day off today. Wide awake at 6am! Hmm

RPopz · 24/06/2014 07:58

Yup Dulce we are going public after the scan, all being well. Got two big meals out with friends this weekend so will be a relief not to have to make excuses for not drinking!! Ooh did you find some YouTube vids? You'll fly through it once you get started. I need to go back to all my projects, they've fallen a bit by the wayside...

Ness I've been awake since 4!! Seem to wake every two hours thru the night now but not sure if its just the heat.

The spots have got me... waaaah Sad

HungryHorace · 24/06/2014 08:39

I fell asleep towards the end of that programme, RPopz...couldn't keep my eyes open.

Where in Sheffield is that estate? When I was at uni it was Manor that was notorious. Clearly the one shown last night is far worse.

Exciting times, Dulcet. Glad it looks to have arrived with you. :-)

Don't talk to me about sleeping. I can't stay asleep long. I'm either too hot, too uncomfortable or I need a wee. I cannot wait to have this baby now.

Sod's law you woke early on your day off, Ness.

What time is your scan tomorrow, RPopz? How're you feeling? Excited and nervous I imagine.

It feels weird that I won't ever POAS again or have another scan as we aren't having any more children after this one. I'm trying to enjoy it all right til the end. But I'm struggling somewhat!

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2014 08:59

Not quite onto the youtube vidoes yet popz, but have sat down with my friend three times now to get this right. Think im there but it's only this one pattern! Will turn to the vids when I need a new pattern.

I bet that is a little sad too horace, knowing this is probably the last time. Even though you made the decision!

That is sods law nessa but happens to me every weekend too. I struggle with the alarm in the week and then Saturday roles round and I am straight up by 7am. Sometimes with the help of my neighbours who like to DIY in the early hours...

Nessalina · 24/06/2014 09:59

Managed to get back to sleep Smile Now dragging myself up! My mum is coming to visit for the day today Grin
And I have to go to the dentist Confused So I'm balancing the good with the bad!

It must be a relief Horace to know that TTC will be a thing of the past! I keep musing on when we should start trying for no2, lol. I should really get this one out first!! Hoping to be already upduffed when I go back to work after mat leave, but I've almost forgotten what sex is like, so we may need a bit of a run at it Grin

I'm impressed with your craftiness Dulcet! I could never get crochet. I do a bit of cross stitch - I've started on a really sweet name sampler for the baby, but I'm a bit worried I've got no chance of finishing it! It's this one Smile

Sympathies on the spots Rpopz! Confused I was getting them very early on, and it finally motivated me to do what I've been meaning to for about 15 years - start properly cleansing/toning/moisturising every morning! I've just never been arsed before - soap and water for me, but my skin was a mess. Spent a small fortune on Clarins stuff and really pleased with myself for persevering!! I know most people already do it, so you probably can't help pregness imbalancing your skin - just resist the urge to squeeze easier said than done!

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2014 10:34

I don't want to worrrrrkkkk! I want to go hooooommmmmeeeeeee! I am not motivated at all. Just cleared my desk as I have to move and I have so much crap!

That cross stitch looks great nessa, I am sure you can get it done. Does look big though! We can motivate you if you like! Stitch, stitch, stitch!

HungryHorace · 24/06/2014 10:55

Ness, I did a cross stitch for DD and am (trying, but failing to find time) doing one for DC2 as well.

And I was pregnant when DD was 4.5 months old. I recommend quickies during nap time. Or quickies at night. Generally, I recommend quickies with a baby around. :-)

It is a bit sad, Dulcet, but no, I won't miss TTC at all. Any further baby would be an accident!

Motivation + pregnancy aren't a happy partnership I'm afraid! And it only gets worse as you get bigger!

You need to start your mat leave count down Dulcet! Grin

21 weeks today - 94 days til mat leave!

Nessalina · 24/06/2014 11:18

Quickies sounds like a plan! The fact that DH will be at home a lot of the time (he'll be working supply ad hoc) should help! Grin

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2014 12:18

Good idea nessa. A quick flick through calendar gives me 25 weeks - 129 working days. That's based on leaving at Christmas which I think is my intention. But also means....

6 months and 1 day until Christmas! Grin You're welcome everyone.

JuniDD · 24/06/2014 12:43

Whoop! I have 39 working days left! I am taking the statutory maximum because my colleague is so difficult. I very bluntly told my manager this and they were like...it's a shame. Not for me!

That X Stitch looks love Ness. I'd like to try doing one but I get in such a muddle with the maths and then the tiny squares.

Funny how you think about #2 isn't it? We're probably only going to have one, so I must try to enjoy this a bit more! Never say never though. Wink

wilhelmeaner · 24/06/2014 12:58

Angry no mention of christmas until november please (unless it's about baby clothes). I'm hoping to start mat leave then too although may have to do a week after as I suspect they'll put my dates back at scan.

Sorry you're hating work Dulcet, have chocolate to get you through.

Well I finally got some sleep last night and actually feel way more tired as a result. But good that tablets are working.

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2014 14:17

haha. Sorry wil. I do love Christmas though, but even this is a bit early for my count down.

I'm only hating work because its nice out and I can't concentrate and theres too much to do that I don't want to do! Just a squinny this week, i'm ok really.

Sounds like a fun conversation juni, what were they expecting you to do?!

Just got an email about a 70% off sale from mamas and papas clothing. I don't think I am going to be a mamas and papas kinda gal (£££!!!) but a quick look showed some of the dresses were quite reasonable. Too early?

Why is my scan so far awayyyy?!

Minion · 24/06/2014 15:28

Sale?
Sale?
I'm there! New look have some lovely maternity stuff on the website too. I didn't rate Asos' though.
No movement today, boooooo, I really want to feel it again. Ahh well if it takes after me it probably over exerted itself yesterday so needs a few days off to recover.
Not so sunny here in cheshire, in fact looks like it's going to tip it down, still bloody warm tho', may be in for a thunderstorm... Hope so. My new turf was starved whilst we were away and now looks more tanned than husband or I!

Talking of husband, it's his birthday today so were off out for a curry tonight, which sucks because I'm once again, off food.

Have a grand night grads!

Nessalina · 24/06/2014 17:02

My mama has just left and we had a lovely day! Smile She treated me to a Bravissimo tankini!! EnvyEnvyEnvy It fits properly and everything! £60 Blush I am a very lucky Ness.
She was really brutal with my holiday clothes choices too (in a good way!) so I feel like I'm all sorted with the stuff I've got. Just need a second pair of shorts and I reckon I'll just get the same ones I've already got from New Look - they're Jersey and really comfy. Tried on some size 20 mat shorts in H&M and they were TOO SMALL Shock Nearly cried.

Min - I only feel mini-Ness on an evening, so you might find you're in for some squirm action later Smile

RPopz · 24/06/2014 18:14

Horace its just at the side of the Northern General, if you remember where that is. Don't think Manor is the best place either but I've never been, only heard about!

Ness that x stitch looks lovely. I quite fancy having a go!! Also, I'm debating changing my skincare as I'm such a grease fest at the mo!! I had bad excema on my eyelids a couple of years ago and so downgraded everything I put near my face to super mild and super moisturising. But right now I feel like I need to strip some grease off haha!! Not sure if its worth it though, if my skin's going to be changing every few weeks?

Mamas and Papas is expensive but soooo pretty. Though last time I went in the shop assistant really unsubtley followed me round the shop... I obvs didn't look pg enough to be a genuine shopper! Hmm

Feel majorly sick and dizzy today... WTAF. Thought I was over this crap now!! Scan is at 8am Shock I'll have to get up earlier than for work!!

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2014 18:28

Doppler received and unwrapped. Where on my belly should I look for a heartbeat??

Boos for being food on curry night min! That sucks!

Minion · 24/06/2014 18:37

popz im still suffering a bit from nausea, even vommed the other week, tonight ain't much better in all honesty.. Bleurgh

RPopz · 24/06/2014 18:40

Curry's not the best thing to be eating when you feel queasy either is it! Hopefully you'll feel better when you get there. I felt fine all last week so I thought I'd had my lot! Ah well.

Ooh exciting Dulce!! Um... quite low down I would guess???

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2014 18:44

I think it does come and go though popz. Mine certainly does. I struggled over the weekend but not too bad today. Tiredness is constant though...

Tried for a while but no luck. Then DH came home and I felt silly. Blush

Will we get to see scan pic tomorrow popz? Grin
