Thinking of youBroody! If its any consolation, I bled the whole way through my last pregnancy! Not gr8 lol, and my likkle munchkin was 6 weeks early, but perfect and healthy! Hes now a strapping 18 year old 6ft something! x

Not quite from scratch, no. I bought a semi ready-made pork shoulder fir pulled pork from Sainsbury's! It wasn't too bad but a lot of waste, fat and unsightly bits. But it was 'only' an hour in the oven.

I'm totally that middle teacher right now Linda. I'm also soooo fat and showing, I was hoping the kids wouldn't notice until September but I saw a few of my Y10 students (girls) staring today...

Linda, I am feeling very like that middle teacher just now... I am on a serious countdown to the end of term! 6 weeks and 2 days to go... I am missing teaching in Scotland at the moment because they finish in 3 and 1/2 weeks!

How are you all coping with this heat? I usually love the warmth but it driving me mad at the moment, just too hot to cope so I dread to think what I will be like when actually heavily pregnant in Aug/Sept as opposed to the 17 weeks I am now.

My scan is a week on Thursday. Is it too much just to tell everyone STRAIGHT AWAY so I don't have to hide it at work anymore? Except from the kids. They can just keep thinking I'm fat.

Barmy I had DS in August and the last few weeks were a nightmare. I had to sleep with a cold wet towel on my feet and spent most of the day sat with my feet in a paddling pool. I'm glad this one will be a winter baby.

Fancy I'm all for spreading the word! It's like a huge weight has been lifted and it just makes you feel sooooo good when everyone is so happy for you.

Poly - think I'm 7-8 weeks. Because at the last scan they gave 4-5 weeks based on what they saw. Hopefully we'll see everything and they'll give me a more exact date.

I'm ok, getting by. Not had it yet :( apparently it could be up to another 4 weeks :/

Went to see a good friend this evening, who knows that I'm pregnant. She'd put together a little 'care' package for me, with vitamins, bubble bath and a couple of baby goodies. Was so touched I cried for most of the drive home! Emotions ramping up big time!

I ate too much fruit this evening I now have a tummy ache. Feel proper inflated, and keep getting the urge to go, but not much happening. Can't help feeling it'll be impressive when it happens! For now, just feel yuk.

Had PPA today and achieved nothing. Need to pull my finger out now whilst I have the energy really. 5 1/2 weeks to go...

Thanks for your little glimmer of hope HTB. Spotting heavier still dark brown but with a very occasional red... plus Black clotty type bits. plus cramps. I feel like at this rate I won't make it to scan on thursday. Feels like it's a bad omen to now be seeing a bit of red
