Me too although mine is 5.30am. It's gone 10 tonight so am late to bed as I prefer to be in bed by 9! Night night!!

ohthegoats · 27/04/2014 22:14

Sorry, I know this has been discussed before - can the FB group be seen by your friends? I don't want people to know I'm pregnant.

TroubleAndFyfe · 27/04/2014 22:21

In case anyone feels like lightening their mood by buying stuff babame.com has 20% off everything the week (as it's real nappy week) they sell loads of different baby things. I just bought a Tula baby carrier - very exciting - the first thing I've bought for squish! :) The discount is applied once items are in your basket - you don't need a code.

TroubleAndFyfe · 27/04/2014 22:24

No ohthegoats the fb group is completely hidden.
frau babame sell manducas btw.

ExcitedCJ · 27/04/2014 22:34

Babame is a great site, I bought my Ergo from them for DD, arrived really quickly. Great choice & fab Haba toys too.

MrsMonkeyBear · 28/04/2014 04:35

I'm another one In the awake at the crack of sparrow fart club. This morning it was 4am. It's varying between 4am and 5am no matter how early I go to bed. I'm trying my best not to nap when I get home from work at the moment, but I fail most days.

tak1ngchances · 28/04/2014 07:15

Got up at 6.40 for a training course, got as far as the bathroom and was spectacularly sick with bile (disgusting stuff).
Have cancelled taxi and am in bed feeling alternately sorry for myself and guilty. I will prob try and go later today but it's awful showing up halfway through these things!

mum2kiss · 28/04/2014 07:23

taking that sounds awful :( hooe you feel better soon.

my boiler is playing up making a loud noise when it cuts in in the morning at 6am! VERY ANNOYING! !!

I really am struggling to get out of bed these days. I could lay there awake for hours it just the actual getting up part I cant do!

Me23 · 28/04/2014 07:24

Oh no tak1ingchances hope you feel better soon. Today was the same for my me missmonkey. Up with the birds the. Tossing and turning.
trouble slings are great but unfortunately not for me I've got a bad back. It's been playing up again lately even hurts to just walk sometimes.
The house is such a mess, wish we had a cleaner!

MrsDinoRawr · 28/04/2014 07:42

Highlight of my day so far... throwing up in the shower.

ohthegoats · 28/04/2014 07:46

Well, my highlight is slightly more positive, but still all a bit bodily function-y. Nearly a whole bag of dried apple rings yesterday = actually managing to poo. I'm obsessing about poo.

tak1ngchances · 28/04/2014 07:50

MrsDino have you got to go to work now? Don't know if I am being pathetic lying down

MrsDinoRawr · 28/04/2014 07:56

The joys of pregnancy! People keep trying to give me advice about what I should or should not eat or drink to help me poo... so fed up of it I now proudly tell them I go twice a day but thanks for their help. I have just been sick again and wishing I could stay at home but its the first day back after the Easter hols so I will head in. Stay lying down and don't feel guilty. I have had a couple of sick days so far due to morning sickness. just rest and get better x

ExcitedCJ · 28/04/2014 08:23

Bloody hell... I may sue! The URGENT letter was to make an appointment with the endocrinologist!
I'm going to vomit, I'm so relieved.
Thanks all. Big love & happy feelings to you all! Xx

tak1ngchances · 28/04/2014 08:28

I would deffo email them CJ and let them know how upsetting it is to get a letter like that over the weekend. Advise them to either give more information in their letter or amend the wording! So glad you've got resolution on it this morning.
What is an endocrinologist...hormones?

Me23 · 28/04/2014 08:54

excited how bloody annoying I would definitely let them know how upsetting it was to recieve that letter. Why do they have to be so evasive? Just write endocrinologist it's not as if it was a HIV specialist appt or sti where I can appreciate the need to be secretive.
Our letters are very clear we say what we mean. No need to worry people unecessarily especially when pregnant and having lots of tests done anyway.
I have a day if housework ahead of me, my only day off this week. What joy!

Loulou888 · 28/04/2014 09:32

Hi all. Found out today a child in dd's class has got shingles. Do I need to worry?

tak1ngchances · 28/04/2014 09:43

Loulou maybe phone your midwife and ask...I would say it's probably ok but just to check?

binkybunny · 28/04/2014 09:45

Hi all. Missed loads while I've been away this weekend!

cj I'm so pleased it wasnt anything horrid and yes I would be complaining.

loulou shingles arent contagious, a girl at work has them so I checked. Chicken pox are but shingles only come out of the virus thats left in your body after having pox. NHS website explains it really well.

As for buying baby stuff, we've had things since before BFP. At the end of the day having baby stuff is not going to affect your pregnancy. All we have to get now is a buggy, full size cot (we have a crib) and some reusuable nappies. Spreading the cost has been great and its been a real pick me up to go and look at our baby stuff when I felt crap.

mrsb87 · 28/04/2014 10:54

Hi binks have you been well this week? We have tonnes of baby stuff from family. I think for us spreading the cost is the sensible thing to do for us as financially we're not exactly flush!

Not having a good couple of days, the nausea has been unbearable after trying (and failing!) To halve my meds. Sat in bed watching this morning*so extraterrestrial week, should be interesting!!

binkybunny · 28/04/2014 11:19

Hi mrsb been generally good with a few sicky moments. Thankfully felt great over the weekend as away at my parents for a joint engagement/baby party. Even enjoyed half a glass of Champagne which seemed to make me a bit dizzy Blush

Sorry to hear you're not having a great time still. I really hope things pick up for you soon! Also having a v lazy morning. Took the day off as travelling 5 hours kills me. Should be packing though as moving in 2 weeks!

Oklahoma · 28/04/2014 11:27

Morning all. I'm due 28 October and hoping to join your thread please.

Have been struggling massively with sickness (like some others on here) so could do with some normality to remind me what pregnancy is actually all about!

mrsb87 · 28/04/2014 11:36

As hi okla the ladies on here are lovely! X

Captainmcgraw · 28/04/2014 12:46

Loulou I second that about shingles. My DD just had chicken pox and I did a lot of reading up. Shingles isn't contagious and also it isn't dangerous in pregnancy in any case.

Celebrating 10 days without being sick here! Some dry retching still but thinking 17 weeks or so has been a turning point for me. Hoping those of you who are still poorly get some respite soon.
