If you're pregnant after a previous MC and due in December 14 this is the thread for you.

If you're an obsessive knicker-checker or just want someone to chat to who knows where you're coming from you'll fit right in.

Yay! So pleased it was good news DrFunkes

Well my nausea decided to turn into full blown sickness this morning. Managed to keep my head out the loo long enough to drive dd to school. Her school is literally around the corner but I wouldn't have made it walking! Going for a nap in a mo as feel like I've run a bloody marathon Sad

Penguin13 · 14/05/2014 12:05

Woo DrFunkes brilliant news! So pleased for you.

Well done all the sickies for making it through each day. You are doing so brilliantly not to just be cured up in a ball weeping constantly which is all I'd be good for if I was feeling like you.

No practical test booked yet, whoever asked, but I will be aiming to prepare for it in the next couple of months. Need to keep the momentum going now that I am nearly there!

YES!! So pleased for you drfunkes Grin how long now til your 12 wk scan? Did they say anything about what might have caused the bleeding?

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 15/05/2014 06:27

My boobs are becoming ridiculous, luckily I wear cheap sports bras that seem to grow with them.

Dreams: I just woke up in the middle of having an affair with my boss. Eeek, gross. (Don't get me wrong, he is very nice, but come on, pick someone else!)

president an after thought, have you tried pregnacare vitamins, the main thread claims it give ms Grin

10+0 feels like a milestone

PresidentSpreadable · 15/05/2014 07:21

Heh, not on me covent, Pregnacare all the way here. Congrats on 10wks!

DrFunkesFamilyBandSolution · 15/05/2014 07:43

Thanks everyone! Seeing gp today so hoping I get my scan date soon. With ds2 it wasn't until 13+6 so a long wait ahead probably!

Well done in the 10wks! Less well done on the boss sex, enjoy talking to him today Paranoid!

FranksBobot · 15/05/2014 08:25

Good luck at today's scan MrsFtn

Congrats on the 10 weeks covent!

I am pleased to have made it too 7 weeks with all symptoms raging! I mmc at 6+3 so at least I've made it further this time!!

Penguin13 · 15/05/2014 09:27

Paranoid congratulations on making it to 10 weeks. Each little milestone we pass is something to be celebrated Smile

Good luck at your scan this morning MrsFtn keeping everything crossed for good news.

One week till 12 week scan today. Scared but will keep repeating the mantra : 'today I am pregnant'. Never has time moved so slowly!

PresidentSpreadable · 15/05/2014 09:50

Still 2.5 weeks to go until my scan, wish time would speed up a little bit! If that scan is good I'm going to try and stop whinging for a few weeks.

Penguin13 · 15/05/2014 12:34

President I would hardly call you a whinger! I think it is inevitable that our emotions are all over the place what with the heady combination of pg hormones and The Fear. Hopefully we will all find it easier once the dreaded long-awaited 12 week scans are done although I am not labouring (pardon the pun Grin ) under any illusions that I will sail on to my 20 week scan untroubled by paranoia or irrational fear!

basgetti · 15/05/2014 12:46

I got my scan date through but it is not until mid June when I'll be 14 weeks. Don't want to wait that long!

Had my GTT this morning, managed to keep the lucozade down, but not any other food or drink since yesterday morning. I feel so guilty for complaining because I know that symptoms is a good sign and I should be grateful things are progressing, but I just feel so poorly and drained I want to cry Sad

Penguin13 · 15/05/2014 13:06

Oh Basgetti you poor thing. You definitely should not in any way feel guilty about complaining about the rough time you are having. I really feel for you and I imagine feeling weak and tired from lack of food and drink is not helping your emotional state at all. I really think you need to get down the doc and get some medicine to help as you need to be able to keep something down. Sending extremely gentle hugs.

Thanks Penguin, I just feel bad moaning on this thread after what we've all been through before. I will see the GP tomorrow if it carries on x

PresidentSpreadable · 15/05/2014 13:51

Ta Penguin, you might think differently if you were my poor partner! How are you getting on?

Oh and Basgetti, much sympathy you poor thing, are you working as well? If so, would it be possible to get signed off for a while?

I told my manager today. Wasn't intending to until after my scan, but she's made a couple of comments about me being very quiet and obviously thought something was up. She was very sweet about it, and said she had wondered if I was. I feel quite bad about it as she is having a hysterectomy in a few weeks (no kids) and that had been worrying me with regards my timing of telling her. We are going to provide each other with a shoulder when needed.

Anyway, I feel like a huge weight has been lifted now, so that's good.

basgetti · 15/05/2014 13:59

Hi President, no I'm a SAHM (and part time student) so luckily I can be at home. Glad it went well with your manager and you can relax at work now.

MrsFtn · 15/05/2014 14:00

Just back from my scan and today I am definitely pregnant Grin. According to my last scan at 5-6 wks I should be 9-10 weeks now but after todays scan I am actually... 11+5!! Had to hastily rearrange my 12 wk scan which was 5th June to next Tuesday! I can't believe it, not only is everything ok, I am 2 weeks ahead of what I thought. I really have hope after drfunkes good scan yesterday as well that things are on the up for the pg after mc thread.

president I'm sure we will all continue whinging right up until 40 weeks and beyond! That's what's great about these threads - we can whinge to lots of people at once who are all in the same boat and so can tolerate and sympathise with us!

basgetti sorry to hear you are still struggling. You must be exhausted. Hope you manage to keep something down soon.

Thank you everyone for crossing your fingers for me. It worked!

basgetti · 15/05/2014 14:23

Congratulations MrsFtn, that's great news! x

Penguin13 · 15/05/2014 14:35

Hooray MrsFtn fab news! You'll be sneaking into Nov at this rate! I am definitely not massively jealous of you leapfrogging ahead with your 12 week scan! You can get the ball rolling for this thread with the positive 12 week scans! Smile

ParanoidCoventGarden75 · 15/05/2014 14:44

mrsftn congrats, that's brilliant news

basgetti same happened to me, no way I would've waited till 14w+. Just ask them to change the scan date.

president glad you spoke to your manager and it went well. I haven't told my boss yet but I'm sure he know cos he's aware I had an FET 7 weeks ago.

MrsFtn · 15/05/2014 15:47

Thanks everyone! I hadn't even considered that I now have a November sure date! They said they wouldn't confirm the due date until next week but i doubt it will change much

I had to tell work as soon as I knew I was pregnant as there are certain aspects of my job that I can't do now. It's actually been good to have them know because i haven't had to put a brave face on for the last couple of months and they understand if I'm a bit quiet or constantly yawning! I think you'll find it easier too now President now that your boss knows. Can't wait to tell friends and family but I don't know whether to tell DD now or wait as long as possible just in case. I'm definitely not putting anything on Boastbook though!

FranksBobot · 15/05/2014 15:48

Fantastic news MrsFtn! I do hope this positive vibe we have going on stays around for all the 12 week scans.
Very jealous that mine is a whole month away!

Penguin13 · 15/05/2014 16:52

Obviously MrsFtn even if your due date is confirmed as Nov it goes without saying that you're not allowed to go anywhere as you are well and truly part of this thread.

Glad it went well telling your manager President. Mine's known since the beginning and it has made things so much easier. Not looking forward to telling the big boss though! He's a lovely man but also a little eccentric (he's a surgeon and I think they're all a bit odd!) so not really sure what his reaction will be.

Hello everyone. Have been finding it hard to keep up with the thread, but lurking.

Great to hear good scan news mrsftn !

I'm finding that I'm fine when I'm busy and working but the minute I stop, or get home, or have tomsit down and do some marking I'm just shattered. Feeling completely worn out after 3 days activity week with year 11s, the last 2 days of which have been drama focused (my subject) so has been pretty full on. Weekend is here now though and early 8w scan on Monday. If everything goes well I'm going to tell my headteacher and departments so they can plan properly for next year.

Getting weird twinges in my boobs and keep waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get to sleep. Typical as after 6 months of nightly wakings and wanting to sleep in our bed, DS has finally clicked this week and has slept in his own bed the whole night for the last 6 nights!

7w+4

MrsFtn · 16/05/2014 08:33

penguin I have my feet well and truly under the table here and I don't think I could cope with catching up on a ddifferent thread! I lurk on the normal December thread every now and then but I find it so hard to keep up with that many people!

engels I'm glad you have the bed to yourselves now and I hope you manage t make the most of it!

Wishing everyone a lovely sunny Friday. Hope those with ms are coping ok
