Hope the scan goes well treacle!

Hope you feel better soon too poly!

I found (and bought) some lovely leggings from Next. They are called harem leggings and taper from baggy at the top to narrow at the bottom. They are super comfy and look great with a pair of small heels/ankle boots/flip flops. I've got them in navy but will be investing in some other colours as well I think! Ideal for work with a smart top/blouse.

Zermatt · 14/05/2014 09:49

Good luck today Treacle.

My doctor called and left a voicemail saying they found white and red blood cells in my urine sample and she wants to speak to me about it, google tells me that just means I have a UTI, so hoping that all she wants is to get me on some antibiotics to clear it up. Explains all the peeing!

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 10:36

Sounds like it zermatt, least they're sorting it :)
Had to do an internal scan. It showed a yolk sac and the sac has grown. Not what they'd expect to see at this stage but it is right for 2 weeks after. They said we can't really tell what's going to happen yet. Got another scan in two weeks. Not going to work this afternoon. I can't face being observed.

PolytheneGirl · 14/05/2014 13:55

So sorry to hear your scan didn't go as expected Treacle. Fx it will all work out for you. No fun waiting another two weeks but we're all here to hold your hand. Thanks

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 14:00

Thank you Poly, I sort of expected it... especially after last night.
Doesn't make me feel any better though.

Oh well. I have to keep positive!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 14/05/2014 14:07

Fx for the next scan Treacle, i'm sorry it didn't show more today. Hand holding x

I'm feeling a bit anxious today, no symptoms really at all. And i've had this browny coloured discharge since before I got the bfp. It started at 12dpo and was dark brown, now at 20 dpo its pretty much like normal creamy cm but a light brown colour. I hoping its just left over blood from implantation. Anyway I suppose there's nothing i can do, got gp appointment on Tuesday so will tell the Dr. Wish I could just sleep til then.

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 14:46

Thanks english, try not to worry. The doctors h e all said to me that brown is fine :)

PolytheneGirl · 14/05/2014 15:13

Treaclecould they see where the blood had come from?

Thanks English fx it's just a little break through bleeding and nothing to worry about.

I've got a really annoying stomach cramp on my right. Think it's probably due to my UTI but feeling a bit paranoid. Still no letter from the hospital after 2 weeks of waiting and my gp's receptionist was absolutely no help on the phone! Grrrrr

fancyacupoftea · 14/05/2014 18:09

Treacle I'm sorry I'm being a bit dim, what does it mean that that's what they could see? I hope you get some proper (and very positive!) answers soon!

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 18:21

Nope they couldn't see where it had come from or why I was having pain.

fancy it just means that things aren't progressing as expected. Might be heading for a mc or baby might just be a slow grower.

Starbright24 · 14/05/2014 18:22

englishI had browny discharge for about 5 / 6 days after bfp. I just took comfort in the fact that it was not red. It stopped after a while.

Fx treacle Thanks no fun having 2 ww till the next scan.

fancyacupoftea · 14/05/2014 18:27

Oh shit, so sorry Treacle, I really hope it's not the case.

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 18:28

Thanks starbright, I suppose at least they're keeping an eye on it.

I went and got Krispy Kreme to make myself feel better :p

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 18:29

Thanks fancy, hopefully just got a slow grower :)

fancyacupoftea · 14/05/2014 18:29

Mmmm normal glazed or a fancy one?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 14/05/2014 18:29

Thanks Star - i'm trying not to worry, there's no red. Chill English, chill.

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 18:32

We got a box Blush, figured we can share them this weekend.
I just ate the strawberry gloss ring one :)

fancyacupoftea · 14/05/2014 18:38

Ha "this weekend"?

If that was my house they'd be gone by 7pm. You have a lot of willpower Treacle!

All I can think about is food.

fancyacupoftea · 14/05/2014 18:38

And beer.

MademoiselleG · 14/05/2014 18:49

Oh Treacle, I hope all goes well. It's so, so worrying, isn't it?

EnglishGirlAbroad · 14/05/2014 18:50

Thinking of you treacle and hoping for a good outcome. C'mon little treacle bean

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 18:58

Haha fancy I'm trying not to. I've eaten two. Feel a bit sick.

Thanks mademoiselle and english, it is so worrying :( just can't concentrate on anything else.

My sister said she had the same before she was pregnant with my niece. I'm like arrghh! :p I know she was trying to make me feel better and say she understands.

Treaclepie19 · 14/05/2014 20:45

Oh for crying out loud. More brown discharge.
Now curled up on the sofa dreading work tomorrow and feeling well and truly sorry for myself. Think all today's emotion has just hit me in one.

PolytheneGirl · 14/05/2014 20:49

I'm spotting now. Don't know what to do. I'm so scared.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 14/05/2014 20:58

God there's a few of us here having a wobble today. Sending you hugs Treacle and Poly.
Poly, what colour is it?
Stay positive ladies it could all be fine. Trying to remind myself the exact same.
