OMG!!!!!!! Nekkid dancing time!! I am so so happy for you!

FrankelandFilly · 17/03/2014 12:16

Oh Bugs I'm so happy for you Grin Grin Grin Grin Hurrah for the rapidly expanding Buglet and his/her heartbeat. Enjoy telling the family Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 17/03/2014 12:18

Great news Bugs. Time to throw plan b list out of the window Grin

eurochick · 17/03/2014 12:19

Hurrah bugs. That's brilliant news. Grin

Wink I got a few bits at the weekend. Zara had some elasticated waist trousers that don't look too grannyish and should see me through some work days. Dorothy Perkins has very stretchy tube maxis for 18, so I got one of those too (not for work but it just seemed like a good idea). Not as much as I hoped for, but I'm getting there. I'm going to do an order from the envie de fraises site that I think it was merk mentioned on the thread I started about the difficulty of finding suitable work clothes for pregnancy.

merk that's exactly it - I hate nagging. I just want to be able to say "I'm taking care of a, can you take care of b" and leave it at that. Grrr.

I love the name change frank. I hope the visit goes well.

sink I love your description of the toddler walk! How amazing that the world is such a wonderous place at that age.

My mw appointment was fine. BP and wee all normal. It took her a while to find the heartbeat, but she managed to get it in the end. Phew :) And the doppler picked up quite a few swipes too - I don't think centime likes being listened to!

MyNameIsWinkly · 17/03/2014 12:20

Oh bugs I'm so so pleased :) :) :) :)

MyNameIsWinkly · 17/03/2014 12:22

Cross posted - hurrah for a healthy heartbeat and a grumpy centime! Mine isn't too keen on monitoring either, no swipes but a clear determination to shift about so much a scan or a listen in is impossible.

FriendofDorothy · 17/03/2014 12:35

Hurray!!!

Now, remember this feeling. Don't forget it, because your symptoms will fluctuate and you will think things are going on. Less than ouchy boobs is not a good indicator of things going wrong.

I am delighted for you.

maamalady · 17/03/2014 12:59

Hooray, you're both fine, bugs and euro! Or should I say, all four of you are! Excellent news Grin

Mine doesn't give a crap about monitoring - at the last scan she fell asleep so I had to do loads of jiggling to try and roll her over so the sonographer could do the last couple of measurements :) I have my fingers crossed that this tendency towards doziness lasts past birth!

Natal hypnotherapy. They have a pregnancy relaxation CD and then a birth preparation CD for use later on.

Website is natalhypnotherapy.co.UK, you can download now it seems so no need to buy actual CDs if you are going to be using it on your phone or whatever.

CatsCantFlyFast · 17/03/2014 14:15

Great news Euro Grin

Brilliant news bugs! Delighted! And glad centime behaved Euro

This morning was spent flying to the moon, looking for aliens and toy soldiers and space jumping. Despite helping toddler manage the space jumps, this bump is still not for moving!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 17/03/2014 15:57

Just: HURRAH for centime and bugsby. So happy for you both.

Grin at your day of toddler company, sinks. It sounds delightful!

Nokkie73 · 17/03/2014 16:49

euro and bugs muchos muchos congratulations. I am so pleased for you both. It is so reassuring when you actually see/hear them and...suddenly...it all becomes real. You are both going to be called mummy by someone really soon. Awesome.

sinks c'mon with the sprog please !!

franks I found boob school quite useful when I dropped-in a couple of times. It was like Tit Central though and some of the knockers were bloody extraordinary. I saw one woman whose boobs could have been scooped out and used as a houseboat, they were that mahoosive.

MyNameIsWinkly · 17/03/2014 17:05

Grin at boob school!

sinks that sounds like a great day, if somewhat exhausting.

On Saturday I visited friends, their SIL was also there, and also due at the end of June. I looked like a fucking beached whale next to her. I had felt pretty good in the morning, shaved legs, hair and makeup done, but after that I just felt like shit. And still do.

MsJupiter · 17/03/2014 17:34

Amazing news bugs, so pleased for you.

eurochick · 17/03/2014 17:38

Thanks all. I might go in for a bit of woo listening too. :)

noks you do have the most wonderful turn of phrase. Grin

sink I wager you are positively blooming.

FrankelandFilly · 17/03/2014 19:08

Grin @ boob school. We're going on Thursday, HWHNN phoned them as I had another mini meltdown Blush the very nice lady said I should come along as it sounds like classic tongue tie, despite the midwives in the hospital saying she looked fine Hmm

KatAndKit · 17/03/2014 19:09

Nobody in my hospital, including a paediatrician, diagnosed the tongue tie. It was in fact my sister in law that noticed it!

ALittleFaith · 17/03/2014 19:43

First of all, congratulations! bugs, what a wonderful reaction to such great news. Run that moment through every day.

Euro I'm so glad she found the heart beat. I cried when I heard Faithlet's for the first time!

frank if it is tongue tie at least there's something they can do. I think Abigail has upper lip tie - latch was never great and is still slightly off on the right. Also her teeth have come through with a gap. We have our 8-12 month check soon and I'll mention it but I think it's too late to do anything about it.
