Happy due date maybe a show and cramps sound promising, I got to 42+2 without having any! I got a baby eventually though :) hope it all kicks off for you soon.
Not long now pen!
Too how are your hips/back now? Sorry the physical didn't stick, I hoe it still feels a little better than previously?
I saw consultant today, she wasn't that reassuring about movements really, but said if I'm ever worried just go to triage for monitoring. I asked on my due date thread though, and quite a few of the mums on there have quiet babies too. She moved lots on Sunday morning though, so maybe she's just a morning baby and I'm distracted every morning usually with DS.
In other news, the consultant booked me in for a skip-to-the-end induction/elcs if I get to 10 days overdue. She didn't explain why, but I won't be offered the normal induction process this time, they'll just try and break my waters, but if they can't I'll have a section that day. If they can break them, I think I get the option of going on the drip to move things along if it still doesn't start 'naturally', but not sure on that. To be honest, I don't really know how I feel about the plan. I really don't want another section if I can avoid it, but if I get really overdue again then it may be my only options are drip or section anyway. I feel a bit pessimistic about my body knowing how to do labour at all, ever, so maybe a planned section is ok. Sigh, I just hope it doesn't get that far!
