Happy due date, Maybe! A show sounds promising - maybe Fin is considering making an entrance soon!

Stacks, when do you see the consultant? Are you feeling any better?

Pen, when's your due date again?

DinoSnores · 24/03/2014 14:47

Hello, we're on holiday at the moment, so sorry for not being around.

musical, I will send you a FB message. Yes, come and live near me!

maybe, Happy Due Date! Keeping a good watch on you and Pen. Perhaps you are going to have co-ordinated sneeze births!

ThedementedPenguin · 24/03/2014 15:44

Too I'm due on 05/04. So Sat week.

Maybe yes I have a scan on Friday morning, I haven't decided on whether I'll have a sweep or not but it has been offered. I'll be one day off 39 weeks then. So not sure, might get them to check cervix first and see if it's worth it.

Dino hope you are enjoying your holiday and relaxing lots

Stacks · 24/03/2014 19:05

Happy due date maybe a show and cramps sound promising, I got to 42+2 without having any! I got a baby eventually though :) hope it all kicks off for you soon.

Not long now pen!

Too how are your hips/back now? Sorry the physical didn't stick, I hoe it still feels a little better than previously?

I saw consultant today, she wasn't that reassuring about movements really, but said if I'm ever worried just go to triage for monitoring. I asked on my due date thread though, and quite a few of the mums on there have quiet babies too. She moved lots on Sunday morning though, so maybe she's just a morning baby and I'm distracted every morning usually with DS.
In other news, the consultant booked me in for a skip-to-the-end induction/elcs if I get to 10 days overdue. She didn't explain why, but I won't be offered the normal induction process this time, they'll just try and break my waters, but if they can't I'll have a section that day. If they can break them, I think I get the option of going on the drip to move things along if it still doesn't start 'naturally', but not sure on that. To be honest, I don't really know how I feel about the plan. I really don't want another section if I can avoid it, but if I get really overdue again then it may be my only options are drip or section anyway. I feel a bit pessimistic about my body knowing how to do labour at all, ever, so maybe a planned section is ok. Sigh, I just hope it doesn't get that far!

SweetieTime · 25/03/2014 10:48

lurking for Maybe news - anything to report lovely???

NoMaybeAboutIt · 25/03/2014 11:07

I'm afraid not my dears. More plug and more cramps, but nothing exciting Wink

Hope everyone else is ok x

Solars · 25/03/2014 11:53

Lurking too for any news from Maybe, so exciting! I can't believe your due date was yesterday!! Hope all goes well, brooking for an imminent sneeze birth!!

Pen hope yours is not long after too!

A bug wave to everyone else, sorry not been around a lot to read up, my little one seems to be taking up a lot of my time! Sweetie I really don't know how you've managed to cope with twins!

Solars · 25/03/2014 11:53

A bug wave?? Obviously big wave!

cartoontrickster · 25/03/2014 17:35

I think the mums are mostly lurkers now solars Smile
nice to see you sweetie I've been thinking of you.
I keep checking back for any news! I'm wondering if pen might beat maybe (sorry maybe)

SweetieTime · 25/03/2014 20:27

Trix I had been thinking of you too. Unfortunately I don't get that much internet time. How is N doing? Are you finding your feet a bit now? I think those early days are really tough. It took me about 8 weeks to come around from giving birth but I got there in the end. I believe routine got me through and we are now doing great.

Solars lovely to see you. Any change of more FB photos?

Maybe is your bag packed yet? 2 ladies at my Childrens Centre this week were discussing how they both had unplanned home deliveries. I can see this happening for you, don't know why.

I don't think the Brookers thread for us with new babies took off as just not enough time to post and keep it going. It is a shame but understandable as I am the worst offender.

I will put a new DT photo in my profile so you can see how they are coming along.

musicalmrs · 25/03/2014 21:34

Lovely to see you Trix and Sweetie! Glad you're both doing well, and all brooking babies :)

When I had DD, we were all chatting away on the brooking postnatal thread - normally moaning in the middle of the night about non sleeping babies. Clearly the new brooking babies are much better behaved! :)

Maybe, brooking lots for you! I agree with Sweetie, a quick unplanned home sneeze for you could be on the cards Wink.

Pen, brooking for you too!

cartoontrickster · 25/03/2014 21:57

yes thanks sweetie much better now. N is 11wks Shock. and doing great. its amazing the things I've avoided doing by myself up until the last few days, this week was the first time I went to weigh in by myself and the first time I changed a dirty nappy while out and about. I think sometimes the thought of these things really scared me but when it comes to it you just do it.
glad to hear you are all doing well too. xx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 26/03/2014 08:30

So lovely to see you both Solars and Sweetie! I'm not surprised your hands are full!!! Hope all the brooking babies are doing well.

Yes Sweetie I finally packed my bag Smile. MrM is also convinced some strange stealth birth may be on the cards. But then he was also convinced I wouldn't make it to my EDD Wink

Glad you're feeling more confident Trix!

ThedementedPenguin · 27/03/2014 08:22

Trix I very much doubt I'll be first. Although wouldn't complain (sorry maybe) have my scan, sweep and then have reflexology booked tomorrow evening. Fingers crossed it all kicks off.

Maybe how are you feeling? I see on fb the any sign questions have started Hmm hope you are getting plenty of rest. Smile

Trix 11 weeks? Were has that time went. I'm sure N is getting big?

Waves to everyone else. Smile

PurpleWithaMysteryBun · 27/03/2014 09:33

Thinking of you today Music Smile

Just a quick update, apparently you can suddenly stop being immune to Rubella! I have to avoid anyone with spots like that plague.
I also have to take aspirin for the rest of my pregnancy as I had the hypertension issues last pg.
I did hear the heartbeat on Monday which was lovely Smile

Hope the bumps due are not too uncomfortable, the last weeks of pregnancy are so tough. I hope everyone is well?

musicalmrs · 27/03/2014 10:00

Thanks Purple. Feeling incredibly nervous. Even more so as we should hear about the house today too, but have been told we need to chase the developers for some paperwork first. Scan at midday..

Thinking of you both Pen and Maybe!

musicalmrs · 27/03/2014 10:07

Oh, and how weird about the rubella thing Purple. I've never heard of that before.

TheLittleFriend · 27/03/2014 10:27

Good luck today Musical x

PurpleWithaMysteryBun · 27/03/2014 10:58

Wow what a day music! Feels like a good news day to me! Smile

I hope you get some quiet time to process it all and have something nice in, to celebrate your good news later.

musicalmrs · 27/03/2014 11:21

Keeping fingers crossed that it is Purple! Have finally chased people for paperwork and ensured all the documents are with the right people. Now it's a waiting game until 13. Already desperate for the loo..

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 27/03/2014 11:33

Brooking for you today Musical :)

PurpleWithaMysteryBun · 27/03/2014 11:35

What is the house like your getting? Big enough for the twins? Wink Glad paperwork is sorted ok!

musicalmrs · 27/03/2014 11:49

Thanks Boo and Little!

I'm hoping Maybe's absence today is a good sign.

Purple, ha! I'll fill you in later. A heart beat would be enough.

Dino, realised I haven't replied to your FB message, sorry! will do so later.

PurpleWithaMysteryBun · 27/03/2014 13:01

How many heartbeats then? Wink

musicalmrs · 27/03/2014 13:18

Just the one Purple, sorry to disappoint Smile I clearly just have shocking stomach muscles Wink. One does mean my home birth could still be possible, hurrah!

EDD has been moved back a day, but I still think it's a lot later than they say (they say 8th Oct, my calculations make it 14th Oct). Hmm.

All well though, one very wriggly creature in there who made it hard to get the measurements.
