Hi
This is a thread for people due in October with past miscarriage issues, so we don't scare the 'regular' October people and we don't annoy the RM thread with our pregnancy talk...

That is great to get Counselling.

I had 5 sessions after my last miscarriage and when we parted she did say they do offer also in-pregnancy counselling so if I ever needed any more help to contact them.

This was the women's health services at my hospital. i got given a leaflet at the EPU and contacted them to organise the sessions.

In my case it was only 5 sessions but over 2 months as first i had a business trip so couldn't attend a wednesday, then she couldn't then it was Christmas break so we had 3 weeks between the first two sessions and only after session 3 we had every week and on week 5 I felt there was nothing more that she could do for me... all the tear had been cried (nearly) and I was ready to move on

Id recommend counseling bugs. I felt i needed to go after my second mc, and found it very useful. I went about 6-8 times in all.

When i recently got pregnant again i decided to go back. So i have already had one good appointment. I'm keeping it to every 2-3 weeks depending on availability. Its a good space to express and think though concerns. Never thought i'd go to counseling for anything before now (maybe i've just been lucky), but i think its good to use all the resources/support you can!

Good luck tomorrow fedup.

Pregnantagain7 · 03/03/2014 16:11

Good luck for your scans tiny and fed up

I've just found out that my booking app is a week on Thursday am officially pooing myself. Just want to hide under the duvet I think iwill just dissolve into a puddle of tears as soon as I see a midwife. What is it about medical uniforms that reduces my to a sobbing wreck?!

Millysdream · 03/03/2014 18:41

Good luck tiny and fedup let us know how you get on.

Yipeee tumtimes and great news about the extra 3 days! It is the year we finally become mummies!

Millysdream · 03/03/2014 19:20

I have found counselling useful. I have my last session tomorrow and I am going to take my scan picture with me. When we booked the date for the last session we knew it would either be the last session or the start of another lot of 6. So pleased to be going with good news.

TinyTear · 04/03/2014 09:06

A couple of hours to go. Can't focus too much on work!

I'm trying to muster up the courage to book the Harmony test... Don't know why I'm procrastinating Confused

TinyTear · 04/03/2014 09:50

When are you doing it?
I think I will only go for it if I have a bad NT + bloods

Not good. Leaving the thread now. Can someone ask to be removed from the main October one as well?

Had reduced in seize from 6.2mm to 4.7mm

Good luck to you all.
