Hi
This is a thread for people due in October with past miscarriage issues, so we don't scare the 'regular' October people and we don't annoy the RM thread with our pregnancy talk...

Sorry to hear this red

Ugh ive got the pink cm again this evening...im 5+3 today...just when I had started to try and relax a bit, and its back! Still just when I wipe but I'd rather not see any! Sorry if tmi but I had a lot of creamy cm this morning, now its pink this evening...wish I new if this was something to worry about or not!

fedupofrainydays · 11/02/2014 21:21

I wouldn't worry if it was just pinky mum2. But I know that's easier said than done. If you are concerned still / it gets more i would consider EPU, even if just to stop you going nuts checking your pants. I am having quite a lot of cm too and this morning my heart stopped when i saw a red blob in it. Turned out to be red fluff. No idea where that came from as everything i had been wearing was blue!

mum2kiss · 11/02/2014 22:26

Lol that red fluff did make me laugh fedup

Just went to the loo again and no more pink...just mild cramping which I seem to get every few days...

was looking forward to dtd tonight as well as we havent since I first saw the the pink.spotting on Friday...not sure if I'll be able to stop worrying enough now!

Millysdream · 12/02/2014 07:05

Sorry to everyone who is having a hard time at the moment. We have all been there and it just isn't fair.
It's scan day for me tomorrow. Not confident at all. No symptoms at all for over a week (except very mild breast tenderness). I feel too good physically to be pregnant. Emotionally I am a wreck. If this one is gone I am probably giving up. The last year has broken me. I don't feel like myself anymore. I have turned into a baby crazed obsessed monster. Going to plod through today at work then probably toss and turn all night.

squizita · 12/02/2014 08:16

Millys fx for you. Chin up. My symptoms have been extremely varied (as in some loads, sometimes nothing) but luckily had 2 good scans so far.
I'm freaking out today as I feel 'too well' too!

Fedup that fluff story is familiar. Happened to me too!

Mum I had some pink in my CM at 5 weeks, but it faded. FX.

TWO stupid things from me today:

  1. Worried about symptoms. Not actually been sick for a few days (still get waves of nausea), boobs feel sore on/off, although swollen.
  2. Went on to the childbirth forum. OMG. Almost 100% of posts are 'things that have gone wrong' and some of the women (understandably) post on and on about their ruined bodies. Terrified that as (I feel) my body is a bit shite at making babies it will almost 100% fail if/when I get to term. Shock
SweetPeaPods · 12/02/2014 08:24

Milly good luck for 2mrw, Fx for you.
Squiz don't worry about labour yet. It's amazing what the human body can do, and what you haven't read is all the 'normal' birth stories which there are many more off.
I won't tell you my birth story just yet! Just getting to that point is what we're all finding so difficult!
I keep getting cramps on and off. Can't really remember if I got them with ds or not. I wish I had kept more of a pg journal with ds but I was so sick that it would have been a very distressing read!

TinyTear · 12/02/2014 08:36

good luck for tomorrow Milly...
my scan is next tuesday... less than a week...

my main sympton is poky outy bullet nipples OUCH
and my lovely breastfeeding teething 2yo has had a terrible latch lately so i cringe whenever she asks for mummy milk... but i am doing don't offer don't refuse so i just grin and bear it...

Eeeeek

Milly good luck for the scan tomorrow. I know what you mean about emotions. I'm seriously considering giving up. DH says I'm distant and so focused on being pg that the rest of the world seems to disappear. Sad

JBrd · 12/02/2014 09:19

Milly Fingers crossed for your scan! Don't worry about feeling 'too good', lots of people have no symptoms at all! There is no rule that you need to be sick as a dog when you're pg Wink

tanny Don't give up just yet, there is still hope! I know that it must be so hard being in limbo where it could swing both ways. When is your next scan? How are you feeling physically?
And being focused on being pg is a survival strategy, everything else just becomes unimportant.

squizI've already told you off on the other thread, but I just had another thought - you know, how on Tripadvisor, the majority of the reviews are negative? It's because people generally want to share the bad stories, to let off steam, but good experience stories are much rarer because most people just can't be bothered. Same thing everywhere, including that thread you've been reading.

squizita · 12/02/2014 11:56

Thanks Jbird! I don't know what came over me. As I mentioned I think if/when the time comes my RL friends would be far more useful than the board-they'll be frank (one had a BIG boy and needed exercises to get her pelvic floor back, another had one so sudden/easy he almost popped out in Waitrose!) but non-scary/hysterical.

Tumtimes1 · 12/02/2014 13:00

Oh Squiz your scaring me!! What are the horror stories? Actually don't tell me.:-)
Tiny good luck for your scan next tuesday.

Good luck for you Milly for tomorrow. I know how you feel about the symoptoms mine are coming and going but ultimately I feel generally pretty well. This concerns me.
I have my next scan on friday at 4pm. Why are scans on a friday? I am ezpecially nervous as I am 9w 1d today (or should be) and I am aware that if the scan goes well on Friday then this might actually really be happening.

fedupofrainydays · 12/02/2014 20:02

My scans are annoyingly on Tuesday or Thursday - I would love a Friday (as don't work Friday!)

I'm the same... Worried I feel too good. Really resisting the urge to POAS to see strength of line as if it's faint what am I going to do anyway? Scan on Tuesday... Just got to get to that milestone.
How did it go milly? Hope all is good.

Im amazed squiz you are already worrying about the birth bit! In a way that's much more positive thinking than me... I'm not even thinking beyond next week at this stage! And if you are really stressed about it - you can have a c section. Someone i knew for themselves so worked up, she was given a c section as was so scared of birth. She now says she wished she had given the naturel a go as feels she 'missed out'. No pleasing some is there!!!!!

SweetPeaPods · 12/02/2014 21:58

My scans are always on a wed as that's the day the recurrent mc clinic runs so don't think there is every a happy medium.

fedupofrainydays · 12/02/2014 22:02

True.. Tues and thurs afternoons are for the location and reassurance scans - mine is a location one next week Hmm

JBrd · 12/02/2014 22:34

I'm so scared at the moment - I had a dull backache today, but thought it's because I'm hunching over my desk at work... But now my discharge is slightly darker than usual (sorry tmi). It's probably nothing, I wouldn't even call it brown, just more yellow than its usual white, but still, freaking out. Please please let this be a false alarm...Sad

tannyLoo · 12/02/2014 23:07

jbrd I hope you manage to have a restful night and that it's just a tired back and some dark CM. It really is possible. She says.

I had a completely hysterical moment last night but have felt more calm today. I think it cleared the air and made DH and I talk properly.

Since taking heparin my cramps have gone. Don't know what that means.

I have small smidgens of hopefulness and then tell myself off. Silly arse.

I'm not going to POAS and just go to the scan next Thursday.

Sorry it's all about me. I am rooting for you all, and it's crazy how much I care about you...

tannyLoo · 12/02/2014 23:10

Sorry jbrd. The "she says" was directed at me for being so quick to think of the worst case scenario. My communication skills are a bit spiky at the moment.

squizita · 13/02/2014 08:16

Jbird I have had yellow and cream. Inspected the yellow a lot in case it was really brown. Nothing happened, it goes back and forth between yellow/cream/clear and Doc wasn't fussed. FX this is the same for you.

Tanny FX it works!!!

My boobs are getting me down. They used to be reliably sore all the time and now I am going through periods where they are still enorm and veiny but not sore. Then they get tender again. Coming up for week 10 (at the weekend) - I've heard symptoms change a bit then, hoping it's that.

Still getting the nausea on-off thankfully (not too bad, not too good) and was sick yesterday. Going to an American diner with work tonight, which specialises in milkshake (which I presume is pasteurised and permitted). "My milkshake brings all the puke to the yard" Grin

allisgood1 · 13/02/2014 09:20

Jbird My cm also varies from white to green to yellow. Try not to worry.

Tanny all fx here for you!

squiz Boob soreness goes away around now from what I can remember. Mine are like water balloons!

Have woken with a headache today but not as nauseated, thank god. These last 2 weeks have been hell. Although I am thinking I'll need to eat my bag of crisps very soon as I can feel it creeping back. I just wish I actually fancied food!! :(

JBrd · 13/02/2014 09:46

CM is brown this morning Sad I'm beside myself with fear, running to the loo every half hour to check.
This is exactly how it all started with my mcs...

squizita · 13/02/2014 09:51

Jbird can you get to a docs? Just for reassurance? FX it's a cm phase.

allisgood thanks! :) Yep mine are ridonkulous but if the soreness fading is 'normal' then it can fade away and take the queaze with it !

ldt87 · 13/02/2014 09:51

Please can I just talk on here for some support

I am due October 13th, 1 previous mc 1 termination for medical reasons so desperately hoping everything will be okay, but I feel like I'm on my way to another loss

I have ibs and had a horrible episode last night which lasted hours. When I got up off the toilet i wiped and there was a small amount of pink bloody discharge. There has been nothing since but in

tannyLoo · 13/02/2014 09:52

Jbrd keeping everything crossed for you. Can you get a scan?

ldt87 · 13/02/2014 09:53

Sorry, I'm terrified the cramping of the ibs has started a miscarriage or something. I'm so early there's nothing I can do, I still feel horrific and am cramping now, but I'm quite sure it is my bowel in pain. I'm so scared about going through another loss :-(

Millysdream · 13/02/2014 09:57

I cried all night, all morning and all through the scan, convinced it was bad news. Well it's not! The baby is10w 5 days with a strong heartbeat. They even give me a scan picture and I never thought I would ever get to this stage.

So anyone worried about lack of symptoms or fading symptoms try not to panic (hard I know) but it obviously doesn't mean anything to me. Maybe this baby knows what a hard time I have had over the last year and wants to be kind.
