Hi
This is a thread for people due in October with past miscarriage issues, so we don't scare the 'regular' October people and we don't annoy the RM thread with our pregnancy talk...

Tanny Hope all is well, good luck at the EPU. Thanks

JBrd · 10/02/2014 11:40

McRed How are you? Any new developments over the weekend? Hope all is good with you x

allisgood1 · 10/02/2014 14:24

Ladies with no/lessening symptoms...I was one of you (the week before last) and I can say with certainty, its back and it sucks! I haven't been able to get out of bed or look after my children properly since Thurs. Every day I pray the next will be better and its not. 10 weeks tomorrow here. Slowly feel like dying. I've also been sick twice now with no sign that its going to ease up (and I have things to do and can't get up!). IF you are lucky enough to have one bad day interspersed with good days THANK THE LORDS...you are so lucky. Off my box and back hiding under the duvet. :(

tannyLoo · 10/02/2014 15:08

It looks like I'm out again.

I went to EPU because I had a letter from the gynae consultant about my blood tests, which had abnormal IgM levels (today I was told it was high IgG levels). I was worried about lack of symptoms and some cramping.

Pg test was only very feint line, nurse was surprised I wasn't already bleeding.

The consultant scanned me and I had an irregular but empty sac, with a slight shadow.

He agreed with me about trying heparin, which I was hoping for when I thought it was still possibly a viable pg, but seems a bit after the event.

Rescan in 10 days if no bleeding. Heparin and aspirin and progesterone in the meantime.

I wouldn't wish this shit on anyone, and can't see any way forward.

TinyTear · 10/02/2014 15:20

oh tanny I'm so so sorry!

How many weeks are you supposed to be? 6w?
Fingers crossed on good news and hope the 10 days won't just draaaag

JBrd · 10/02/2014 15:25

Oh tanny I'm so sorry, how awful for you. Do you think that there is any chance it might be too early to see anything?
Wishing you lots of strength for the next 10 days...

SweetPeaPods · 10/02/2014 15:57

Tanny I'm so sorry. Big virtual hugs to you. I'll keep my Fx for your next scan. Life sucks sometimes doesn't it.

allisgood1 · 10/02/2014 16:55

Wishing you all the best tanny. With a regime, maybe its too early to say its over??

mum2kiss · 10/02/2014 16:59

So sorry tanny :(

I can only imagine how you're feeling and its an image I remember for the same sad reasons. Fx that you get your sticky bean soon

fedupofrainydays · 10/02/2014 17:13

tanny :( I'm so sorry. Life is so unfair and rubbish at times. Thinking of you lots and hope for all it's worth that the treatment works, and if it doesn't you have a good plan for next time. X

TaytoCrisp · 10/02/2014 19:56

tanny so sorry to read your update. What a stressful couple of weeks it has been for you, and continues to be. I really hope things work out... but it is hard to call now. Sending you a hug and strength for the days ahead. Thinking of you.

tannyLoo · 10/02/2014 20:39

My first heparin injection is done.

I appreciate all the positivity, but no one had a positive or hopeful face today.

To borrow from elsewhere, chin up, tits out...

Handsfullandlovingit · 10/02/2014 20:59

Oh tanny you poor love, I am sending you a big hug. The next few weeks will be grim whatever the outcome, and you have our support for all of it.

fedupofrainydays · 10/02/2014 21:49

tanny I echo handsfull we are here to support you whatever the outcome. Definately time for chin up and tits out xx

McRedHead · 10/02/2014 22:57

ladies, I'm still away from home and had the worst three days. The bleeding continued including worse than clots. I took cb digi two weeks ago which said 2-3 weeks. It said the same 4 days ago (I tested the morning after I had a vivid dream that I has miscarried-... paranoia!) but then the spotting started. I believe it to be more a chemical pregnancy. I was so hopeful this time. Should I keep my doc appt on Fri to let him know. Does it matter?

McRedHead · 10/02/2014 23:07

can someone take me off October stats on other page parade. I'd rather not go back and say. Thanks xx

McRedHead · 10/02/2014 23:53

please not parade

squizita · 11/02/2014 08:34

McRedHead So sorry to hear this. :( Thanks If it said 2-3 weeks it wasn't a chemical pregnancy, it was an early loss, so yes you should let your doctor know. You don't have to pass an intact sac to mean there was a (small) sac there: often they break up or absorb. I've had losses that early and my GP made sure I had a follow up scan and swab to check no infection, and referred to them as 'miscarriage'- she even mentioned how many losses are misdiagnosed by busy GPs (or women at home) as 'chemical pregnancies' when they need after care, they go straight back to work etc'.
Her guideline was "if you knew you were pregnant, it probably wasn't chemical".

TinyTear · 11/02/2014 08:39

So sorry McRed
x
do keep your doctor appointment

tannyLoo · 11/02/2014 09:42

Red I'm so sorry. Of course it matters. Go to your GP appt and make sure it gets recorded as a miscarriage, that you get some time off work and get heard and with a plan of what to do next.

Stay with us as long as you want. Although I will eventually duck out of here, having the support of this group is really important to me.

Thanks
SweetPeaPods · 11/02/2014 10:26

Sorry to hear that Red.
I would definitely tell GP and take as long as you need off work.

nearlyreadytopop · 11/02/2014 13:21

sorry to hear that red

Handsfullandlovingit · 11/02/2014 16:52

Oh red, I am so sorry.

allisgood1 · 11/02/2014 19:18

So sorry red :-(

fedupofrainydays · 11/02/2014 19:38

red so sorry to hear that. Definately tell your doctor and no, I don't think its a chemical and I think squiz definition was a good one and you definately knew you are pregnant.
No matter how early or not these mc still fucking suck. And do matter. So please do take the time you need. Thanks
