Yup, he's a jellycat elephant Grin And so soft with a gorgeous and slightly sad face. We found him in Jojo and there was no way we were leaving without him - HOTB would have been distraught!

ALittleFaith · 11/02/2014 09:01

We have the jellycat giraffe. Bit of a joke between MSB and myself. Love the priorities draf.

We started buying at 14 weeks drizz. However we didn't need to buy much big stuff cos we got so much from my sister. Travel system was bought at about 24 weeks I think.

ALittleFaith · 11/02/2014 09:01

Wait no more like 30 weeks!

eurochick · 11/02/2014 14:26

I'm having an ARGH moment. My midwife wanted my treatment summary from my IVF clinic and details of my colposcopy, so I just wrote her a covering letter to send her. I printed the letter at work, bolted to the printer and IT WASN'T THERE. Something has gone wrong with the machine. I'm now worried that it will come spooling out whenever it is fixed. FFS. My colleagues really don't need to know about the IVF and the state of my foof.

CatsCantFlyFast · 11/02/2014 14:29

Euro that is a genuine argh. Does your computer think its been printed? (Ie is it still pending against the printer on your PC or has it disappeared from the printing pending list thing?) is it one of the printers with a screen where you can see the history of completed jobs? If so, and it has completed, perhaps ask the people with print jobs either side if they had picked it up by accident

eurochick · 11/02/2014 15:37

I know no one picked it up. I bolted straight out of my office to pick it up and if I do that I can usually pick ut up as it comes out. It's not showing on any pending queue. My seccie (who is lovely) did a hard restart of the printer, which usually wipes any docs stored waiting to print. So I've done what I can but I know if it does come out later and anyone picks it up it will be prick male partner...

CatsCantFlyFast · 11/02/2014 16:41

Frank are you around? Have you had any Braxton hicks or pain in bump? Have pain, and on verge of panic Grin

FrankelInFoal · 11/02/2014 17:02

Hi Merks I'm here. What sort of pain is it that you are having? I've had a few Braxton Hicks and the odd shooting pain.

CatsCantFlyFast · 11/02/2014 17:53

Its like a deep ache on one side, more painful than just an ache but not sharp pain. Its constant (had it a few hours) and closest to a stitch in feeling I guess. Haven't had any BH so nothing to compare to but just wondered if it sounded familiar?

FrankelInFoal · 11/02/2014 18:00

No, not had anything like that. It could be the start of something, but one of the CRESH would be better at identifying it than me at this stage.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/02/2014 18:25

Oh, exciting, merk! Maybe call your midwife!

Ta for the shopping tips. We don't need much, but have a push chair shopping date in the diary (at 27 weeks). We have a jellycat monkey, it was a present. SB has decided Lembie doesn't need more cuddly toys, we have been given a few...

Complete argh, euro! Hope it was okay!!

Mrspeacock81 · 11/02/2014 18:45

Hi Faith. Yeah I'm diffed now. I was actually an 'instadiffer' (sorry!) but only for about 3 weeks! Went for an early scan, only to see an empty sac and very little else. It was about a year and a half before any hint of diffedness again. I know it's not a long time when I read about some others and the ordeals they've had to go through to get pregnant. I spent some time on these boards reading bits and pieces then thought it was perhaps impacting negatively on me, both reading about others being pregnant, and those struggling to conceive. I'm about 14 weeks now and just trying to keep optimistic. Still haven't told any friends or family just yet... Soon. Maybe.
Liking the look of those jellycat toys.... Although if I started shopping now, There's a good chance I wouldn't stop - I can see me now with 3 full travel systems after changing my mind 3 times before there's any sign of a baby on the horizon!

FrankelInFoal · 11/02/2014 19:52

How are you feeling now Merks, if the ache continues it probably is worth calling your midwife or even the hospital to see if they can give you advice.

CatsCantFlyFast · 11/02/2014 20:39

Its gone after a bath. Hoping its just stretching from her inching her way down my pelvis

FrankelInFoal · 11/02/2014 20:49

That's good, and perhaps signs that something is starting to happen. My bump is definitely lower and at times I feel heavier in the lower part of my bump IYSWIM. I could do with another week or so to get my assignments finished though! Grin

MyNameIsWinkly · 11/02/2014 21:42

Fingers crossed Turnip and MiniMerk keep cooking for a while longer.

I am anxious about tomorrow's scan, and Angry with fucking piss taking relatives. Cunts.

FriendofDorothy · 11/02/2014 21:49

The Little Mister has a gorgeous Jellycat monkey which is called Winston, which is what we called the bump!

FrankelInFoal · 11/02/2014 22:04

Ignore them as much as you can Winks, they're knobbers. The odds are massively in your favour so ignore whatever the idiots have said. What time is your scan?

MyNameIsWinkly · 11/02/2014 22:13

Half 11. I am Anxious. I am at work and could cry right now, I'm so nervous and pissed off.

FrankelInFoal · 11/02/2014 22:29

Oh Winks, I'm sorry you're feeling like this. I remember feeling the same and it's just not fair is it? We should be excited and happy at these times, but instead we have The Fear. Just try to remember that the odds are all in your favour, nothing untoward has come up to give you any cause for concern this far.

maamalady · 11/02/2014 22:36

It's more than likely that everything is fine, winks. Fingers crossed :) (or do the PESH not do fish?) Tell me where your idiot relatives are and I'll go kick them in the shins. What have they said?

MyNameIsWinkly · 11/02/2014 22:44

Idiot relatives fred.

Fanks frank & draf. I know the scan will probably be fine. Roll on tomorrow :)

FriendofDorothy · 11/02/2014 22:49

I was just looking at the list at the top. The cluster diffing is impressive!

FrankelInFoal · 11/02/2014 22:52

Yes, we're definitely due another cluster diff.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 12/02/2014 08:29

Massive good luck today winks. I completely sympathise, I didn't sleep a wink the night before my anomaly scan and was petrified there would be all sorts of things wrong. As you know there wasn't. This is bad experiences and infertility talking. You just need to hang on til you get the scan. In all likelyhood, all will be perfectly well. And, the first moment I achually believed there was a baybee in there, that might come and be ours eventually, was straight after the scan. The anomaly scan gave me a whole 4 days of untinged joy and then the menkul started up again...

It's impressive clustering, isn't it. Just hope bugs and hest will form the next cluster...

How are you this morning merk?

Grin at turnip needing to stay put so you can finish some assignments, frank. I think she'll arrive in her own good time!
