Congratulations crisp! You'll have your hands full! I'm sure it'll be amazing having them so close in age though Smile
Hope all goes well with the scan!

Feelingfatty · 30/12/2013 21:12

Oh difficult :( sounds like you're doing all you can!!

So I have started having so pain in my right hand side (bottom of tummy, back and leg!) not a cramping like I've pulled something almost.... Maybe I did at bums and tums? What do you think? Anything worrying??

Nugget1984 · 30/12/2013 21:17

Hi everyone,

Can I join this thread please? According to LMP I am 6 weeks and would be due around 25th August!

Feeling lousy at the moment.. Super nausea, super tired and super painful boobs! Trying to stay positive though... It will all be worth it (fingers crossed!)

Congratulations to you all, wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies xx

Feelingfatty · 30/12/2013 21:22

Also it's only when standing up/moving around, okay when sat down!!

HungryHorace · 30/12/2013 21:35

Crisp, we win the most mental posters awards on here as DD is 6 months old!

Hi nugget. :-)

Fatty, sounds odd. Don't think it sounds suspect though. Trapped nerve? Exercise is bad for you!

onion19632 · 30/12/2013 21:39

Is anyone else craving foods already? Last time I totally went off sweet things, but this time I cannot stop eating them! I am thinking this is not good for the waistline!!!
ps my DD (age 3) still creeps into our bed most nights. She always goes down in her own bed, but I usually wake up with her next to me. Not sure how she is going to feel once there is a bump between us.....

onion19632 · 30/12/2013 21:42

Also had my Dr's appt today and have booking appt on 16th Jan. Dr put my due date down as 13th Aug, but I think it will be few days later than that at scan.

BunnyBaby · 30/12/2013 21:42

Hello Nugget, we are due date buddies!

mumtoacub · 30/12/2013 21:45

Feelingfatty I'm in the same boat I'm in real pain!!! The bottom of my back is burning with muscular pain and all over my tummy is tender, tummy is fine when sitting but back hurts, back is fine when standing but tummy hurts!!! Never had any of this with ds but I do suffer recurrent UTI should maybe get tested.
Nugget I'm due 25/8 too!!! (According to dates)

HalfPintPickle · 30/12/2013 21:46

Onion, my DD ( who is also 3 ) comes into our bed at night time. I wake up and she's there!

I have pain behind my pubic bone?...any ideas...I'm a worry wart- sorry Hmm

FriendofDorothy · 30/12/2013 21:55

I had a vulval variscosity last time and I am dreading a recurrence!

Finnable · 30/12/2013 21:57

Exercise is bad for you! I've been saying that for years... Grin

Booked a private scan today to put my raging mind at rest either way - it's for 6pm tomorrow night... Have a feeling it'll either be the best New Year's Eve ever, or I'll be drowning my sorrows in gin! My poor DH.

I'm hoping that today's 2 good news stories lead onto me being the 3rd... They come in threes, right?

onion19632 · 30/12/2013 22:12

HalfPintPickle, glad it is not just me then. I hope she is not too put out once the next one arrives. I do worry. Do you have any other children?

PinaColadas · 30/12/2013 22:13

Hey everyone, thank you for the kind wishes after the scan, still on cloud 9, hearing the heartbeat was the best thing ever! I'm just about coming down from it all, I nearly passed out I was so nervous! Was a right state!

sillymeagain · 30/12/2013 22:14

Finnable...I have everything crossed for you. I know long term it wouldn't change anything but part of the reason I wanted my scan today meant it was THIS year and if it were not good news it stayed in this year. That said I will be ending thsi year and starting next with a big smile and I really really hope that you are the same. Like you say, these things come in threes. Xx

onion19632 · 30/12/2013 22:16

Good luck for tomorrow Finnable

HungryHorace · 30/12/2013 22:20

Good luck tomorrow, Finnable. That's quite late for NYE, I bet the staff love working til then!

Since DD my tail bone 'pops' when I sit down for too long. God knows why, but it's bloody sore.

I'm quite achey tonight with stretching pains. Argh. :-/

CrispCraver · 30/12/2013 22:37

Glad I'm not the only nutter on here, Horace! Grin

DH said he felt like he should audition for the Jeremy Kyle show (love it!) after walking round Boots with DD in buggy carrying folic acid tablets and a packet of clear blue!

Good to hear positive scan stories all ready, wish I could've got mine in this year; hope it goes well for you tomorrow, Finnable.

Terramirabilis · 30/12/2013 22:41

Marking place...

Finnable · 30/12/2013 22:42

Thank you so much Silly, Horace, Onion and Crisp.

Silly - that was EXACTLY my reckoning too! So glad that someone else's mind works the way mine does! Smile

Horace - she actually shuts at 6 too, but said for me to come in as "you really sound like you could do with knowing either way!" Bless her.

HungryHorace · 30/12/2013 22:59

Ah, that's so lovely, Finn. :-) How sweet of her.

And yes, Crisp, I can relate to that feeling! JK here we come.

Feelingfatty · 30/12/2013 23:07

Good luck Finn x

Nugget1984 · 31/12/2013 07:35

Hello bunnybaby and mumtoacub ?? due date buddies!! Smile

Good luck today Finn!

Woke up this morning with ulcer / sores in my mouth.. Like I've been biting my cheek! I've never had this before.. Has anyone else had this in pregnancy or is it just me being strange??!! Xx

2beornot · 31/12/2013 08:18

Hope scan is ok today finn. I'm loving all the good news on here at the moment so fingers crossed for you!

fatty I have this too. Well it's in my left bum cheek and thighs. A bit of googling suggested pelvic girdle pain (PGP) so I've self diagnosed! Will mention it to midwife at booking appt tho. It seems to occur when I've been walking a lot.
