Hi to all the new people!

After yesterdays worry Of no symptoms
They slowly crept up on me and the neasea came back last night lucy and hungry which reassured me and made me glad that Managed To do loads of sorting out at home while I felt ok- made me feel much better when I was lying in bed most of today.

Good luck tomorrow Nula! I'm counting down the days until my scan!

the anxiety is kicking in big time about tomorrow's scan... why does everything seem so much worse at night?! so tired but my mind is doing overtime.

I'm gonna get myself down to EPU tomorrow, still having pains and it's just a constant dull ache now so I think it's best to get it checked.

Good luck to anyone with upcoming scans this weekend hope they go well.

Is anyone else concerned about their ever growing stomach?? I honestly look 5 months gone today, it's my 3rd DC so maybe that's why but I don't know how I'm going to hide this from the family this weekend

Spent all night convincing myself I was having an ectopic as I have shoulder pain. At 4am as my DH was going to work I told him my worries he spent ages googling it and thinks the pain would be in the wrong place as it's more neck ache. I was on nights over new year so he thinks I slept funny yesterday. I hate worrying all the time especially as everything seems to be going normally. Shift work drives me crazy as I'm so tired but can't sleep so I get to worrying!!
Need to find something to keep me busy so I can stop worrying

Morning lake. I'm glad I'm not the only one up at silly o'clock. On our way back to the uk and it looks like it's going to be turbulent, that'll go well with the sick feeling I'm sure. I'll be so glad just to be home.

Lake - Im pretty sure ectopic shoulder pain is the last symptom you get after additional side pain or bleeding, try not to worry! Its annoying how a pain always fits in with pregnancy and they we panic I have been there several times lol

Im feeling ok this morning, meeting up with three girlfriends/kids for pub lunch and had to tell them last night we were pg again, Im such a crap liar!! Plus I didnt want them asking me infront of my older two boys!!! It felt a bit wierd admitting my little secret but Im glad I can talk about it with them

I am also having trouble sleeping, go to bed early as I am very tired and then seem to be awake on and off from around 3am. Also terrible morning sickness here. Had a ham sandwich yesterday which was the first thing I remember enjoying eating for a couple of weeks and didn't make me feel hideously sick afterwards.

Lucy I think tiur right about shoulder pain being the very last symptom. Usually starts stomach pain bleeding. I read some where that the best thing to do is take a paracetamol, lie down in a quiet room and concentrate on where the pain is coming from. I do and I then realise the pains in my arms.

Some pains last night in pubic bone. Think spd might pay me a visit early this time. 10hrs on my feet yesterday didn't help though.

My mum now knows. My daughter told her my boo a we're hurting and I was feeling sick. She's keeping it quiet though.

thanks for all the tips on headaches, I can feel another one coming on, must be hormones and lack of sleep, this weather is driving me potty!! I keep falling asleep in front of the telly and then not being able to drop off when I get in to bed. Maddening.

Nothing new here really. Still feel very sick, still tired, boobs still sore...roll on next sat for early scan!

Ahhhh, starting to feel a little bit of MS! At last! I say this in a cheery way despite feeling really quite crap this morning, just in time for going back to school on Monday! Anyone else found their hands swelling up? I can hardly get my wedding ring off - surely it's a bit soon for that?!

Hi everyone I've been a bit AWOL from posting/reading the threads - hope everything's ok, little beans and MS and all! I'm currently in bed nibbling on crackers trying to haul myself out, sickness is terrible :(

Well I've had a bit of a whirlwind couple of days - I posted a thread in the pregnancy forum for advice but it was just short of an essay haha so I'll condense it for here - NYE night after midnight I had some bleeding and passed what looked like tissue/a clot of blood so was convinced it was the start of a MC, DP and I were in tears absolutely gutted, went to A&E ruled out ectopic, booked us in for a scan which we had yesterday morning aaaaand there was the little one heartbeat fluttering away!! I have never in my life felt such a wave of relief before, looked over at DP and his face was mirroring mine with just the biggest Cheshire Cat grin. There is a history of twins in our family so I wondered if I had MC a twin but they didn't mention an empty sac and I'm not sure if I really bled enough either... The nurse said it may have just been a haematoma and to abstain from sex until post 16 weeks.... Eeek! So so relieved and blessed that the LO is healthy and fine but no sex is not ideal!!!

Also they dated me as 8+3 so new DD is 11th Aug! :D

Did anybody have a scan yesterday? Young baby brain + pregnancy brain = a killer!

I feel grim today. I was awake from just before 5 until just after 7, when I finally dropped off again. I've now got a cracking headache. I'm still feeling sick too.

Anybody else who's had a previous section, can you feel it ache? My hurts inside every now and then. It's painful. :-/

And yes, my fingers swell up to the extent my rings can't come off, but only if I'm really warm too.

I wore my rings until 34 weeks last time. Doubt I'll get that far this time!

MammaBear, that must have been so scary. But what a great outcome, I'm starting to feel a bit jealous of everyone seeing their babies!
Morning sickness not so bad today, as long as I'm not moving and don't think about trying to have a hot drink! Even hot ribena made me puke the other day, and I usually love it!

Glad to hear the good news Mamma.
The only real symptom I seem to have at the moment is fatigue. I had a bit of trouble with this before pg but now it is a whole new level. Just can't seem to get myself moving or stay moving . Don't know how I'm going to function at work next week . Had some nausea but find if I keep nibbling on things it pass but that is not helping my waist line at all .

Morning everyone - good luck to anyone having scans etc today!

First day back in the office (I worked from home yesterday) and really not feeling it! Am eating crisps to try and keep the nausea down, my room-mate doesn't suspect yet as I am normally quite a greedy pig anyway! And if I start retching I expect he'll think I'm ill and suggest I go home - hopefully anyway!

Horace - I haven't had any pain from my c-section scar yet, but it was 15 months ago and yours is much more recent so I guess it's more likely that yours will hurt. I'm sure mine will start soon! I'm very conscious that I'm going to have to decide whether to have another c-section (don't fancy the recovery with a toddler around...) or try and have a natural birth, which might end in an EMCS anyway! I suppose we've got ages to think about it

Hello all. I am just checking in as I am about 7 weeks gone, so by my calculations should be due right at the end of August.

If all goes well, this will be DC2 - DD is just coming up to 20mo. All very exciting. Haven't told anyone IRL yet and not had booking in appt yet either, so thought I'd come on here so I have somewhere to talk about everything pregnancy related.

Hi and congrats to mummybare, and mamabear4 that is a fantastic story! my friend had her 12w scan yesterday after some bleeding and was also thoroughly relieved to see everything going well! am so pleased with all the good news stories on here!

I've decided that although it's grim, I prefer being sick as I actually feel better afterwards. Lovely. :-/
