I know its late but then on you for the reassurance bunny hopefully the bleed is just down to something like that instead of something more sinister - guess I'll find out tomorrow for sure at the scan - its only the awful nausea, extreme tiredness and sore boobs that reassure me in spite of the spotting.

congrats to those who have recently had healthy scans..Smile

and welcome to all the newbies Smile

mszeenwithabean · 02/01/2014 16:47

oohoo nearly missed you - good luck tomorrow nula

Nulanoo · 02/01/2014 16:47

Thanks everyone it's not til 7pm!! Baby spice I'm between 9-10 weeks

mszeenwithabean · 02/01/2014 16:48

* meant to say 'thank you' bunny not 'then on you'

flymo79 · 02/01/2014 16:50

anyone else been getting the wretched headaches?

babyspice2501 · 02/01/2014 16:54

Nulanoo maybe your symptoms are just slowing down as they say you feel normal by the time your 12 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx

HungryHorace · 02/01/2014 17:26

Good luck, Nula. I'm sure it'll be fine. Baby is right, as the placenta takes over you do quite often feel much better than previously.

As for feeling normal by 12 weeks, I bloody hope that happens this time as I had morning sickness up to 17 weeks last time!

I have headaches on and off, but it's still mostly the nausea / horrendous soapy taste that is driving me to distraction.

lucyfluff · 02/01/2014 17:37

Good luck tmrw Nula Im sure all is fine Grin let us know how you get on.

Welcome to newbies too Smile

Flymo, Ive had a horrid headache today, woke up with it Sad dont want them every day! They do say they are common due to hormone surge....

Feelingfatty · 02/01/2014 18:17

I've been lucky so far this pregnancy with headaches but with dd I found that forehead stuff (not sure of its actual name) a real life saver!! Saved having to use lots of paracetamol!!

babyspice2501 · 02/01/2014 18:33

Omg hungry! 17 weeks! How did you cope! Lol

HungryHorace · 02/01/2014 18:38

I built it into my morning routine! It was grim. :-/

HungryHorace · 02/01/2014 18:39

Though it could have been far worse, so I suppose I was lucky in a way. Didn't feel like that though.

babyspice2501 · 02/01/2014 18:54

Haha! Hats off to you! Dont know how you did it!

lucyfluff · 02/01/2014 18:57

I was taking medication for migraines during my last pregnancy, they were nasty like someone had whacked me with a frying pan lol!!!

stephie0611 · 02/01/2014 20:40

Sciencegeek I am the exact same. I have just lied to 4 of my close friends tonight and said that im definitely not pregnant and done a test last week. I feel so bad about lying but im just so scared to say incase anything goes wrong. I keep panicking so much :(

ScienceGeekGirl · 02/01/2014 20:45

Thanks girlies for the reassurance that they won't hate me. So far had only evaded telling the truth to dp etc but downright falsehood sits lot less comfortably. Nice to know I'm not the only one though stephie and hopefully this will be the last time I'll actually have to lie.

miserywaterfall · 02/01/2014 20:46

I know how you feel about not telling friends. I am seeing 2 good friends tomorrow and tempted to tell them... However, one recently had a horrific miscarriage and I am scared she'll get upset, just talking about babies... Not sure how to handle it.

VJONES1985 · 02/01/2014 20:49

Hi all, I'm 7+0 and am being induced at 38 weeks due to medical reasons so looks like dc will arrive on August 7th!!

This is dc number one and we are going to find out what we are having. Suffer from anxiety about the pregnancy quite a lot, unfortunately.

Symptoms are - hunger, agonising boobs, tiredness, wind, occasional nausea.

miserywaterfall · 02/01/2014 20:54

Welcome VJ :)

Walber139 · 02/01/2014 20:57

Lucy I've been the same today, however I have a history of head aches & migraines during pregnancy...

I've just had a head massage (quiet an intense one) of my OH, it's eased it enough to get a relaxing bath....also drink plenty of water...

BunnyBaby · 02/01/2014 21:09

Hi everyone, hope some of us are feeling better, the nausea this time is worse than the other times, I'm never sick, but dry heaving is awful, dishwasher hums etc.

We have told close family and friends as we see them, having had an MMC before, I found it more helpful to tell people rather than have to tell them there had been a problem, when I was at a point of enormous emotional fragility. I didn't cope well with the MMC between DS1 & DS2 and my friends and family were such rocks. It also means there is less expectation for us to travel around over Christmas and New Year, and when visiting people, I felt ok to sleep in and take it easy.

Is anyone else sleeping lighter? I am so tired, but the smallest thing wakes me up at the moment, off to bed in a minute.

Looking at the weather tonight, looks awful. I hope anyone in the areas affected keeps safe.

It looks like we also have some early scans over the next few days, how exciting!

Bunny x

VJONES1985 · 02/01/2014 21:14

Hi Bunny - I had a scan at 5+4 and have another on Monday at 7+4 :-)

Yes,I'm sleeping differently too. I wake up several times for a wee but also for no apparent reason or because something hurts or I feel sick, etc etc.

AprilS · 02/01/2014 22:07

Bunny I couldn't sleep last night but I was knackered!! I think it was partly because the Dr's did a few tests the other day and if there was any news I guess I would have heard today but hopefully no news is good news! :)

I was also thinking about shelves... :~/

Just had my first round ligament pain I think. Would it be to early at 6+1 though? I was reaching for something out of the wash basket and had a sharp pain.

We've told our very closest friends and family for similar reasons to you Bunny. My sister had a few miscarriges after her first and it was a lot better that we could be there for her though it all the second and third time rather than comforting her after. Although I haven't actually told her yet, I feel like a bit of a fool but we live quite far apart and I wont see her for a few weeks yet. I think I will still tell her before my 12 week scan though. Thats far to long to wait!

KitKatChick · 02/01/2014 22:45

Hi everyone, just joining in on the fun (or not so much fun sometimes). It's my first pregnancy so well nervous. I haven't had a dating scan but should be due at the beginning of August. I've found out just before Christmas after I've taken off a couple of days with a "stomach bug" and even blamed my manager for spreading the germs! Quite funny what this bug turned out to be. How are you finding the whole MS thing? I'm not too bad most days just feeling nauseous but on 3 occasions it's wiped me out for an entire day and night.

Anyway hope everyone is doing well and can't wait to hear all the good news with your scans etc.

miserywaterfall · 02/01/2014 22:50

Welcome KitKat Oh god, I want a Kitkit now Shock
