Fatty, I didn't even go into the kitchen for food yesterday. My DH did it all, thank god. :-)

Preparing food is a real challenge. I agree. :-/

Feeling so nauseous today. Almost want to be sick to see if I feel better!

AprilS · 02/01/2014 12:23

Flymo79 I currently work from home running a craft business. Its great being able to work to my own timetable but I'm currently considering if its financially viable or even time viable to keep it going once the little on is here. Running up to christmas I pulled a fair few 16 hour days.

My tummy has been massive since day one. Water retention I guess. I've been living in a new look stretchy skirt leggings and long tops. It meant the one party I went to where no one knew about me being pregnant i'm sure it was obvious because I look about 6 months already. :(

Not feeling to bad from the antibiotics today think my body has started to get used to them and i'm constantly eating yogurt to counteract the effects. Other than that i'm ok with food just little and often as I find that seems to help me stop getting super tired.

Feelingfatty · 02/01/2014 12:27

Hungry I ventured into the kitchen but only to make toast :)

Harryhart · 02/01/2014 12:43

Had our scan this morning and saw the little thing's heart beating! 166bpm, seems fast, but Internet says that's normal!

Still feeling weird about it, can't quite get excited yet!

Xx

RosesOnTheWane · 02/01/2014 12:43

Been to the Doc this morning and diagnosed with a chest infection and sinus infection. On ABs and told to rest so DH has taken the boys out to the beach.
Have felt so rough this holidays. Lurgy and morning sickness ( but mostly in the afternoon) bleugh.

Midwife called and has made an appt for lunchtime on Monday (when I am meant to be at work). She said I shouldn't be going in if I was so poorly anyway and that it would be a good reason to stay at home. Luckily it is a training day so quiet.

RosesOnTheWane · 02/01/2014 12:43

Congrats Harry!

Feelingfatty · 02/01/2014 13:18

Great news Harry!!

Mine is mostly in the afternoon (nausea) Bleugh!!

HungryHorace · 02/01/2014 13:32

Yay, Harry!

And my nausea is just relentless. Just had to get DH to rescue me from walking DD as I thought I was going to throw up on the path. Classy. :-/

Fatty, I can manage toast too!

PinaColadas · 02/01/2014 13:50

Congrats harry
On Monday our beans HR was 182!! I was a bit worried but my heart was going like the clappers so I think that probably explained it, I expect I'll see a slower one at 12 week scan when I'm hopefully a bit more relaxed.

flymo79 · 02/01/2014 14:08

congrats harry, and Pina (can't remember if I said before!)
I have to stop eating biscuits.... the nausea makes me need to shove food in my mouth all day long, I will be the size of a small truck by my 12 week scan!!

Feelingfatty · 02/01/2014 14:38

Quite proud of myself dd went back to normal routine today of school for 2 hours this afternoon (normally does it 3x a week) and instead of giving in to the temptation of a nap/channel surfing I went to the gym Smile Im surprised by how my fitness levels have changed already! I definitely can't run anymore...used to be able to run for 30/60 mins Hmm oh well some exercise has got to be better than none!!!

ScienceGeekGirl · 02/01/2014 14:39

Ok so feeling rotten and this time not from feeling sick. I just downright lied to my friends do hide the fact I'm pregnant. Hate lying but also don't want to tell them yet. Hope they will forgive me. Never been pregnant before anyone who's a second timer been through this? Do they mind when they do finally find out?

Feelingfatty · 02/01/2014 14:40

Sciencegeek, no one will mind at all!! You have to do what feels right for you Smile

flymo79 · 02/01/2014 14:47

science - I thought about this and if they mind, they're not very nice friends! I do struggle with some of my pals making everything about them, but have put my foot down about this one! when it's my body, I get to decide who I tell and what.

2beornot · 02/01/2014 14:48

Science geek - no one will mind at all! It's not nice, but inevitable I'm afraid!

Nulanoo · 02/01/2014 14:50

I've totally convinced myself it's all going wrong. My boobs don't hurt at all now and I don't feel sick. Rang and booked a scan for £75 tomorrow which can't really afford but I can't wait 3 weeks x

eeyore2911 · 02/01/2014 14:53

Good luck with the nights londonchick! I feel your pain lol! I'm currently trying to do as much overtime as possible as mat pay will we based on feb and match pay checks Shock

2beornot · 02/01/2014 15:09

Nulanoo - I'm sure everything is fine but good luck for tomorrow x

flymo79 · 02/01/2014 15:27

nula - keep us posted, everything crossed that all is still ok. I'm sure it will be (people here have said that with previous pregnancies their symptoms have come and gone). xx

Feelingfatty · 02/01/2014 16:07

Nula fingers crossed for you, no bleeding is best sign hope all is okay!

Eugh so managed to make the chilli (well done me!) but since lunchtime the kitchen has spelt like poo to me! Actual poo! What could it be? I realise it probably doesn't smell like that as sense of smell is in overdrive, have cleaned all sides, taken bins out and sprayed dogs bed Confused and still can smell actual poo!!!

babyspice2501 · 02/01/2014 16:12

Nulanoo how far gone are you? I worry when things go quiet with my body aswell. My tummy doesnt feel half as crampy and twingy as it did last week. My bloatings going down very slowly now but the only thing thats reasurring me is the sore boobs. Other than that I dont feel pregnant at all! Although im only 5+3 today so early days! But I have no sickness, tiredness. Just sore boobs and constant need to pee

Fingers crossed for you tomorrow. Im sure everything will be fine

Missvaughan85 · 02/01/2014 16:19

Ms I'll be booking new one in as soon as I know things are ok, the nursery dd went to is fab and they book up quick. Plus I run a salon so I've got to go back earlier than most. Probably after Christmas next year x x

FizzyPinkWine · 02/01/2014 16:26

Hello everyone, can I join?
I got my BFP in the middle of December, and been lurking on this thread for a couple of weeks.
My stats:
9+2 weeks with DC2, due 5th August. I'm 32.
Symptoms wise I've had none for the first few weeks and then morning sickness hit with a vengeance early this week! Sore boobs and very tired too. Back to work next week, not looking forward to feeling like this in a class of 8 year olds!
Great hearing about everyone's scans. Can't wait for ours on 21st Jan!

flymo79 · 02/01/2014 16:30

welcome fizzypink and congrats! you've done well with just lurking for so long, glad you're now on board!
ugh, sickness has given way to bad headaches for me this week. I probably should find all these symptoms reassuring but I find them debilitating! here's hoping after scan things will pick up. I have mine on 21st too.

PinaColadas · 02/01/2014 16:37

Good luck tomorrow nula x
