muddy the Mat B1 is a certificate which officially confirms your pregnancy and due date. This can be supplied by your midwife or GP and is given to your employer in order for you to receive statutory maternity pay.

Welcome Franny Smile
The third trimester is generally taken to be from 28 weeks til birth.

Ah ok. Don't need to worry as I'm my DHs secretary and he knows I'm pregnant!

LeeHandy · 23/12/2013 22:52

Cata, thank you for checking on the mutsy for me! Over the weekend I called the only mutsy stockist in my side of London but they are an online only store and do not have a showroom where I can test it. So much as I am interested in the mutsy, I don't want to buy something that important without ever seeing it in real life. I'm going for the uppababy vista instead!

Bodeccia congratulations on the scan! A boy and a girl is very exciting news indeed! Do you use your mutsy in public transport or cars? The mutsy and uppababy vista both weigh the same with the bassinet, but with the seat, the vista is 1.5 kilos lighter. So I agree, the mutsy is not much heavier than my other choice.
I am now waiting for the boxing day sales in the hope of getting a good deal on the vista.
Mamapants, It's good to know you could carry over your holidays - I hope my HR has the same viewpoint. I will have a chat with my HR manager and find out.
Welcome Franny!

26 weeks today

Thankyou everyone for the welcome! And happy Christmas Eve to all :) my placenta is posterior this time and was anterior last time (hope I've got that the right way round) and I'm definitely feeling less movement than last time! Still feeling some kicks though and it's so reassuring feeling them :) xx

Hi everyone

Congratulations on your pregnancies and hope you are enjoying the festive season.

I am 25 + 1 due 10 April 2014 with a baby boy. Been quite anxious throughout pregnancy due to previous problems but going well so far thankfully.

Hello! I'm due April 30th, so I could end up with a May baby. I'm starting to feel more and more movement which is exciting!

patsy375 · 28/12/2013 18:56

Welcome newbies! Smile

So ladies how have you found being pregnant at Christmas?
Have you missed the booze? Wine
Have you had to suffer 'advice' from well meaning relatives?
Are you completely shattered or have you found it all a breeze?

I've really missed eating pate Sad but have treated myself to 2 coffees with a splash of Baileys Shock
I played the pregnancy card (and the fact I was working a night shift xmas day) to get out of hosting dinner this year and it was great! Grin

my Christmas has been a bit odd as we're moving country so 1 day of Xmas followed by me and oh living in a land of boxes and tape. I did miss drinking at Christmas and when went to a friends house I allowed myself half a glass of wine during a work do but it made me miss it a bit

LightTripper · 29/12/2013 12:16

The one advantage of still feeling nauseous is that I haven't missed booze at all! Brie was probably the thing that called to me most, but other than that I haven't minded the food restrictions too much...

Christmas has been lovely, though I get knackered so easily! But everybody seems fine with me not being much help in the afternoon/evening. Today is our first day totally to ourselves, just doing various jobs.... Has been lovely so far!!

Vikkijayne2507 · 29/12/2013 16:33

am exhausted all day packing and most evening tidying am feeling it now the exhaustion

nevergoogle · 30/12/2013 21:22

ah here you all are.

I'm still on anti-emetics but feeling less nausea now and back to work. As if by magic, the depression has lifted too. Seems I just couldn't function without food, and my mood plummeted. Still only 10 days since I last threw up (while driving and in a lay-by in the rain), so won't count my chickens just yet.
