I have a tattoo on my wrist (so fairly easy to cover up but I like it) and would like a few more.. want ds name plus new baby name but can't see a design without it looking tacky...

I used to have a ton of piercings when I lived in Australia... they've all been taken out over the years though and now I just look like a mum lol! Had lip, labret, scaffolding, frenum (as in lip not willy!) nipples, bellybutton, tongue.... loads more but I forget. Now all I have is tragus piercings (those lumpy bits connecting your inner ear to your face?) Took nipples out to bf ds and promptly forgot to put back in. Kept losing belly bar and gave up eventually, wish I hadn't!

I've bought a mix of summer and winter for 0-3 (dh is adamant newborn clothes are a waste of money for some reason) I love all the summery bits and just figured a coat and tights will 'winter' up anything! Plus we had a rather warm September last year.. although I don't remember a June heat wave...

i am definately not considering and induction methods either natural or otherwise just yet. just concerned as head is not engaged yet at nearly 37 weeks and first bab. i am the impatient type and i know the bab will come when it is ready but i dont fancy going overdue and being terrified to leave house in case anything happens!! maybe i am just being hormonal and anxious but, hey, i am pregnant!!

my eldest daughter not back from thailand until 14th then she gets her a level results on her 18th birthday on the 17th aug Its my partners birthday on 21st and my other daughter gets her gcse results on 24th that coupled with the fact that we are in middle of decorating and crib hasnt arrived yet I think I would panic a little too if they asked me to go in early

BigHotMama · 14/07/2006 15:28

Afternoon Ladies, its taken me sooo long to ctach up - what the hell have you been taking you lot?

Booby, I left work yesterday and came away with loads of presies for baba, a £75 collection, huge bouquet of flowers and pampering stuff for me too. Was bit sad to go actually and today just feels a little crazy! Am at my parnets house as they are on hols, so been catching some rays in the garden and looking after their pups.

Talking of piercings and tattoos, my old belly buttonn piercing scar is strectched to the max and felt quite sore last week! I have 2 tattoos - one on thigh and one on my big toe (dont ask!).
My DH is covered in them too has 9 in total and is having baby's name on forearm or on back! I may be tempted to go for another later on.

Hi to all the new girlies, cant believe how big this thread is? Baby boom for August or what?

Hope everybody is well

36+5

janeggybee · 14/07/2006 15:29

would like some opinions on the topic of boobs (i know it was never brought up!!) at nearly 37 weeks i am now a whopping b-cup (the biggest i have ever been!!) and have concerns about my ability to breastfeed. it seems that all pregnant people have much bigger assets but i was not blessed in this way.

OP posts:
dreamydowler · 14/07/2006 15:29

going to go and make the lasagne I should have made yesterday speak to you all later byyee

dreamydowler · 14/07/2006 15:34

I dont think it matters what size your boobs are I have breastfed all mine you just have to feed on demand for a few weeks to get your supply going and express when you can to get bab used to taking it from someone else if you want to be able to go out I think its more of a worry if you have flat or inverted nipples but even then you can draw them out using a nipple shield towards the end of pregnancy or a pump. All you can do is give it a go if thats what you really want to do and not torture yourself if its not for you

dressedupnowheretogo · 14/07/2006 15:38

at our antenatal class the video they showed us re breast feeding the lady had the most perfectly formed lil bobs ive ever seen apparently if you small boobs it helps to have a smallpillow under baba to lift them up to you i think they are calle dbig v ive got two book that were recommended nct beginners guide to breastfeeding and best feeding both are used for breasr feeding councillors and are very imformative lots of diagrammes and advice i got mine from amazon 2nd hand

apparently the bigger they are the harder it is i giggle to myself everytime i hearor read the aeroloe must be in babys mouth i just think poor baby mine are bigger than digestive biscuits sorry if tmi

BigHotMama · 14/07/2006 15:39

I love Alton towers and would be up for meet up there if anything goes ahead!

My boobies havent even grown a cup size during pregnancy (well not to my knowledge?) and my DH seems well gutted! Think he was dreaming of waking up to Pammy-type bossoms every day!

2labs · 14/07/2006 15:41

janeeggybee - me neither (was a b, now just about a c cup, and am dead chuffed with that!). apparently being little doesn't matter at all and has no effect on the amount of milk you produce.

dreamydowler · 14/07/2006 15:45

I will look into group rate discounts for alton towers when do you think for? my huge size e boobs generally have poor child gagging for breath and darling partner not too impressed at being squirted we cant win really

dressedupnowheretogo · 14/07/2006 15:47

we could do the november fireworks thing at alton towers

my hubby gets squirted now so god help him lol

BigHotMama · 14/07/2006 15:56

November fireworks are awesome at Alton Towers - last went there about 5 years ago but p*ssed down with rain!
Lol at all this squirting! I aint had no leaky boobs and tbh I just cant picture milk coming from my breasts? I'm sure it will be a different story in a months time. Hoping to be successful at bf'ing as heard so many stories on how hard it is to keep up.
Not really in the mood for eating today? Had eaten so many meals out over this last week felt like I was going to burst so maybe I'm trying to balance my belly out!

dreamydowler · 14/07/2006 16:00

november fireworks it is then I will find out prices and let everyone know

dressedupnowheretogo · 14/07/2006 16:04

ive just thought if the park doest open til say three we'll see each other for half an hour and then will be bumping into each other in the dark

dreamydowler · 14/07/2006 16:33
