Good news on all the scans. Sorry to hear about colds and suffering.

I'm sobbing at 60 minute makeover!

MTMD · 11/11/2013 15:05

Congratulations on the scans!! V exciting!

Am I the only one with no scans to date...?

Utterly exhausted, one more hour till journey home and BED which is all I want at the moment.

cheesysmile · 11/11/2013 15:41

Congrats on the positive scans, great news Smile

I've not had a scan yet MTMD. Was quite tempted a few weeks ago to book an early one but now I've got my dating scan in 2 weeks so figure i can wait now. Bet these 2 weeks will drag now though!

I was worried the other day that my symptoms were gone but i think they're back! My boobs are so so sensitive at the moment and I'm feeling sick again. I'm not sure if sickness is due to cold as i do get that with the phlem (nice!) but boobs defo pregnancy related. Best go back to work tomorrow so hope feeling a bit better by then.

wispaxmas · 11/11/2013 15:58

I think we've had way more early scans than is statistically the norm. If it wasn't for mumsnet, it would never have occurred to me to have one, though! It did set my mind at ease.. at least for the short term. I've now realised that the entire pregnancy is going to be anxiety after anxiety. If it's not losing symptoms in first tri, it'll be decreased movements down the line. No matter what, there will be constant worry, and it's not going to let up when the baby comes, is it?

LadyGoneGaga · 11/11/2013 16:13

You are very right, Wispa. Welcome to Motherhood. Grin

KatAndKit · 11/11/2013 16:15

Hello, i have been lurking on and off since my bfp but i had a good scan this morning so ready to jump on board now!
scan said 8+2 so edd 21 June. Will be baby number 2, have 19 month old DS. Before him two miscarriages, have to take clexane and aspirin every day in pregnancy now, so my belly is covered in bruises. Not too many symptoms except for extreme tiredness.

waves to ladygonegaga

superlambanana · 11/11/2013 16:20

MTMD I haven't had one either - think I'll just wait for my twelve week one, though five weeks seems a long time to wait!

Feeling much less sicky today (although I have been I'll once today) which of course I'm now worrying is a bad sign... I can't win!!

superlambanana · 11/11/2013 16:22

I also really want to bake something but I can't stand the sight of butter at the moment, and I hate my kitchen.

ohcluttergotme · 11/11/2013 16:38

Wispa does Benadryl help you get a good nights sleep and safe to take in pregnancy? Need to go out and get some.
Welcome to the JuneBugs and congrats to those with successful sans.
Made it into work today, well a training day. Felt so sick all day but glad to have been out of the house all day.
Now just need to face my own work tomorrow

MarlenaGru · 11/11/2013 16:39

superlamb I feel your pain. Constantly hungry but the thought of food makes my stomach turn. I need a food magic wand!

Liquidambar · 11/11/2013 16:45

congratulations on the scan lady and Angelina

welcome to the newbies.

Had a tuna and mozzarella melt for lunch and my stomach is completely bloated. I look like 20 weeks! ! but it's all air and food.

wispaxmas · 11/11/2013 17:25

ohclutter, I wouldn't use it just based on info gotten on mumsnet (from me), but I did ask my GP and they said it was fine to take a normal dose or 1/2 dose, just so long as it wasn't everyday and to only take it as long as necessary. Apparently there can be minor risks involved, though mostly they're just in the last weeks of pregnancy.

Also, it might effect different people differently. It's an antihistamine tha tmay cause drowsiness. It just happens to knock me out completely!

GinandStripes · 11/11/2013 17:47

Oh goodness me, I want me a Tuna & Mozzarella melt now.

Zaxter · 11/11/2013 17:49

Wow - there are masses of us on here, my frazzled brain will prevent me name checking but just wanted to say whoop whoop to all those who've had scans and had that amazing feeling of seeing that little heartbeat.

12 weeks feels a long wait but I think I'll just wait as money is super tight at the mo.

Someone had a sore throat? I used dissolvable paracetomal and gargled with it and found that that helped. Or what about gargling with whiskey but not swallowing, that should still numb no - and could taste nicer!? Blimey - listen to me - I've been either pregnant or breastfeeding for nearly two years and have random fantasies about alcohol it seems.

CleverOl10 · 11/11/2013 18:09

No scans here yet either MTMD and (stamping foot!) no scan date either. Was told last week it would be sent out but not here yet. I'm 9+5 and very impatient as I need to work out how much to tell work and book day off. Angry

Vickyvix · 11/11/2013 18:15

I have only been away a few days and it has taken me ages to catch up!!

Great news on the scans lady and lmf I think there was another couple but I can't remember names, but congrats!!

And welcome to all the new ladies, so many June babies!

I have reached 8 weeks this week and have booking in apt on Friday, counting down the days. I wish I could have another peak inside to check bean is ok, has been 2 weeks since my early scan and still 3.5 to go to proper scan, tempted to book another for 9 weeks to break it up and to reassure all is ok. I haven't had much sickness which is worrying me, a few days of feeling a bit nauseas but have such sore (and massive) boobs and am so tired (and getting + HPTs) and craving weird foods and having odd dreams I am hoping all is ok. I do not do well with not knowing stuff so just longing to check bean is still in there and growing

Liquidambar · 11/11/2013 18:31

Lmf sorry. I missed your post. Congratulations :)

MTMD · 11/11/2013 18:37

Pregnancy is pushing me back to my own childhood. I crave foods I haven't had since primary school! For example, was too sick to eat anything for dinner. But then remembered I used to eat pizzas smeared (drowned??) with ketchup AND mayo when I was little. And there you have it - I covered a pizza in mayo&ketcup mix and managed to eat half of it! And it was so yum!!

Oh and I had porridge for lunch... :D Bizzariness!! :)

Its 6.30 and I'm already in my pjs in bed. What did I say - back to 1980s! :))

MarlenaGru · 11/11/2013 19:07

I was in pjs at 2 today. Blissful!
I also seem to be back to the 80s. Desperate to have a caramel pudding from my childhood. They definitely don't make it anymore so need to get over it!

GillyBillyWilly · 11/11/2013 19:24

Arghhh I was late to work this morning as I was feeling rough and couldn't get my bum in gear!
My boss said I didn't have to make up the time but I decided that I would make it up at the end of the day... And now I regret it because I'm still not home! Sat on a train at cannon street station... JUST started moving Hmm

Blahhhhhhh.

Lmf679 · 11/11/2013 19:32

GillyBillyWilly · 11/11/2013 19:36

Haha thanks Grin
DH just asked me if I want dinner and I just said "nutella" .... Grin

That's all I want right now! Haha nutritious

GillyBillyWilly · 11/11/2013 19:38

Very sweet although we only live 2 mins walk from the station Grin

wispaxmas · 11/11/2013 19:44

As soon as I got home from the store I jumped into a onesie! I might live in this thing for the next few months Grin

Penguin13 · 11/11/2013 19:46

Aw poor you Gilly. Willing your train swiftly on its way.

I am once again an eating machine. So far this evening I have eaten a slice of cake, a yoghurt and two ryvitas with houmous and marmite (not together that would be weird) this is all a mere appetizer to the pasta bolognese currently on the stove Blush My lovely DH got me some of my fave mini babybel which I have taken to snacking on but am determined to hold off eating one! probably
