Any news from wispa yet? So exciting!

GinandStripes · 15/11/2013 11:47

It's like Christmas Day round here!

GillyBillyWilly · 15/11/2013 11:52

Aggghhhhhhh WISPA!
I've already decided after my scan next week I will post on here straight away! Grin

BEEwitched · 15/11/2013 11:58

Hello, Wispa, update pleeeeease!

(It's like were preparing her for the toddler phase with our whinging)

wispaxmas · 15/11/2013 12:31

I was kept waiting AGES to give blood after the scan, and was ravenous when we got home, so getting online was delayed by a quick lunch Grin

hope this works!

I was set back in dates one day, new edd is 4 June. This fits in with my 29 day cycles, though, so all is perfect! We saw it bouncing around a bit, too Grin

wispaxmas · 15/11/2013 12:34

Oh, and gilly, to answer your question, H Booked the day off as leave and I've been a lady if leisure since mid October, so no work to book off for me. I do have a job, but it's a zero hour casual job at a London museum, and with living in Paris I've basically just not been working, though I'm back this weekend and over the new year holiday period! We are back to Paris on Monday for another 4 weeks, so no work then either.

wispaxmas · 15/11/2013 12:35

I don't think the photo link worked... try again...

wispaxmas · 15/11/2013 12:37

third time is a charm?

superlambanana · 15/11/2013 12:40

Wow!!! Wispa that's amazing Grin

Bumblebeesmum · 15/11/2013 12:41

Wow not sure how but seeing your scan picture makes my pregnancy feel more real! :)

LadyGoneGaga · 15/11/2013 12:45

Lovely news, Wispa Grin.

Magpie really sounds like you are going through it. I had a horrible time with my first's Dad, it wasn't a planned pregnancy and he always blamed me. We tried to make a go of things but unless both parties are truly on board it is just an absolute nightmare. I was so much happier once we (inevitably) split and it was just me and my little baby boy. Please don't stay with him because you are scared of being alone. Because it's really not that bad. And I got married to my genuinely lovely guy a couple of years later and here I am having number 3!

GillyBillyWilly · 15/11/2013 12:52

Yay wispa! Congrats and hooray! Smile
Enjoy your day with your husband!
Lovely clear photo!!!!!!!!! Thanks

hackneybird · 15/11/2013 12:58

Aaah, congrats wispa, how lovely. I have my Harmony test on Monday as I will be 10 weeks and I'm very nervous. However as I'm continuing to feel pretty shocking and very tired, I am feeling positive that this PG is a good one. And I am convinced I felt a wee squirming sensation in my uterus yesterday. I'm very sensitive in that area - I always know when I'm ovulating as I get a lot of 'mittelschmerz', and felt my DS movingvery early on. So I hope I'm not imagining things!

Thank you Wendle. It's nice knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel regarding the feeling unwell. I just cannot imagine ever feeling normal again!

magpie I hope you're ok today. Ladygone has given you great advice.

panicmechanic · 15/11/2013 13:28

Hello can I join you? I am due on the 24th of June but due to a history I will prob be induced at around 36/37 weeks. Please can I ask if any of you are going the Harmony test in London? Any recommendations? Thanks

Liquidambar · 15/11/2013 13:32

great news wispax. I was on a meeting all morning and just wanted to check my mobile Smile to see if there was an update.

How are you mag ?

NessieMcFessie · 15/11/2013 13:34

Lovely wispa!

kittygirl33 · 15/11/2013 13:43

Great news wispa, congratulations!

Lmf679 · 15/11/2013 14:23

Congratulations on the scan wispa it makes me feel that there's light a the end of that 12 week tunnel! I'm towards the end of the month so still have a few weeks to go and am having terrible ms, am working from home today as could not face the tube. Glad to hear from the April board that it does get better soon.

Vickyvix · 15/11/2013 14:26

Yey, lovely wispa you must be so pleased Grin

Just on way back to work after booking in appointment, the lady was so lovely and made me feel really at ease, glad I took a massive bag with me though as have my big book of green notes a bounty pack with loads of literature and a huge bounty mum to be pack with loads of freebies in - hope nobody at work asks what's in the bag :/

Apparenty I am low risk which is lovely to hear and I have to call to book in my 16 week appt so it's all feeling kind of real now! That, and the four giant blood samples they took!

They still insist on using standard dates so I'm 10+1 today, midwife said they will use the dates from the 20 week scan to estimate due date, but 12th June (think it will be more like 22nd myself but I'll go with it for now).

ohcluttergotme · 15/11/2013 14:31

Lovely scan Wispa, made me feel very emotional seeing your scan pic!
I am feeling tired beyond belief, thanks for sharing Wendle, can't wait to feel better.

AuntPittypat · 15/11/2013 14:34

Aah, Wispa, that's lovely! Amazing how their little faces are so, um, face-like (can't think how to say what I mean properly!) at this early stage.

superlambanana · 15/11/2013 15:06

Ooh Vickyvix, I'm jealous - I want a bounty pack!! Grin

Vickyvix · 15/11/2013 15:38

Ha ha I can't wait to get home to see what's in it super will update later - hope you're feeling better

LadyGoneGaga · 15/11/2013 15:43

That's silly of the midwife, Vix because scan dates are only really accuarte up to about 14 weeks as after that you get other factors like some babies are just bigger than others because some people are bigger than others. I would fight your corner quite strongly there as doesn't make too much odds now but it will do later when they are trying to make you have an induction you don't want or need because their dates are wrong.
