Hmmm I think I'm just eating everything, well the only thing I really don't fancy is fatty meat. I'm doing ok with fruit and veg although gone off salad unless in a sandwich. Loving the carbs at the moment though, which probably accounts for the weight gain. Going to try to be a bit better. Been loving fruit recently so going to try and snack on that more than crisps and bread, but sometimes only toast will do!

CleverOl10 · 12/11/2013 23:22

Argh heartburn just as I'm trying to sleep. Bah. This baby had better be good Wink

Vickyvix · 12/11/2013 23:28

Did someone say frozen banana sand?! That actually sounds delicious! And jaykay banana with peanut butter also sounds v good, I'm going to have to try that. Hope your banana delivery comes soon!

wispaxmas · 13/11/2013 00:04

There's always money in the banana stand!

rainbowweaver · 13/11/2013 06:09

Just got the Demi panel jeans from gap! Can't wait! Thanks wispa

MTMD · 13/11/2013 07:30

Morning all

I'm calling in sick. Woke up feeling awful: exhausted (despite clocking 10 hours tonight), sick and with a headache... Even if I manage to take my sorry ass all the way to my desk, I know I'd have a hellish day without doing anything productive... so I'm staying in bed hoping to get some energy back.. They won't be happy but what can I do :(

Re: bananas. Never liked them but having loads now. Including one at about 3 am - I wake up ravenous and cannot get back to sleep unless I eat something. And that's every night now.

cheesysmile · 13/11/2013 07:40

Morning all, that sounds horrid MTMD, try not to worry abt work, if your sick you can't do much about it. Hope you fee better soon.

I'm still coughing / have sore throat / cold this morning but not bad enough to stay home & it is better than it was. Plus I know I'll feel a bit better once I put myself in the shower. Really looking forward to this week being over though.

I know its silly but don't feel I can buy any mat clothes until I've had my scan and know all is well. The jeans sound good though, mine are getting tight!

GillyBillyWilly · 13/11/2013 07:41

I want to call in sick... Along with still having sickness and nausea on/off, I have diarrhoea and a stinking cold Sad

I had 5 days off sick a few weeks ago though so don't feel like I should take more days off.

Sad Dunno Sad

Cheesy I feel the same. I don't want to buy anything or even think about baby stuff too much til after my scan!
Luckily my sister gave me some maternity jeans so I'm wearing them every now and then... Which is allowed cos they were given to me!! Grin

I'm another one avoiding the scales. I can't even blame nausea for me not making healthy choices, I've just been grabbing whatever I fancy and is close at hand. . I have found that when hunger hits it's that proper almost slightly panicked I need to eat NOW feeling but maybe if I was eating fewer sugary snacks my hunger wouldn't be quite so urgent when it hits!

Resolving to eat healthy healthier snacks today and see how that goes.

Still 9 days till scan. Ugh. And still got a horrible nagging gut feeling something is wrong but hoping it's just pregnancy paranoia.

All of you dealing with MS have my utmost sympathy. The tiredness alone has me struggling so I can only imagine trying to deal with the nausea as well. Massive anti-sickness hugs to all and hoping your second trimester is nearly here and brings some relief.

CleverOl10 · 13/11/2013 07:54

Ha ha nice quoting wispa Wink

GillyBillyWilly · 13/11/2013 08:04

Who has got their scan next Wednesday? I know there's a few of us!
One week to go!!!Smile

Gilly do call in. Sounds like you have enough reasons.

My thinking is that 1st trimester won't last forever. We've got months and months of work ahead, despite growing bumps and tiredness. A few days won't make a massive difference on the grand scheme of things.

wispaxmas · 13/11/2013 09:04

Gilly, it might be time to tell them you're pregnant and that it's the reason you've had so much time off sick. They should be understanding, and then it would also let them know that it's not going to be an ongoing thing (hopefully) once the first tri is over.

And I just have to ask - did no one in here ever watch Arrested Development? I'm just wondering how anyone can hear about frozen banana stands and not think of it!

The gap jeans are ridiculously comfortable. I'm wearing them today already, even though I don't need them.

wispaxmas · 13/11/2013 09:06

Oh wait, nm, Clever got it Blush

GinandStripes · 13/11/2013 09:12

wispa I googled you, well not you - the quote. I ashamed to say that I have not watched Arrested Development. Yet. It's on the long list of TV series we are going to get through during night feeds!

CleverOl10 · 13/11/2013 09:18

Big fan, wispaWink

LadyGoneGaga · 13/11/2013 09:59

I think you lot have completely destocked Gap of maternity jeans (in my size anyway!). Going to have to dig all my maternity clothes out of the attic and have a sort through. But the jeans normally get pretty knackered as I tend to live in them (don't have to be smart for work if not seeing clients so skinny jeans and stripey tee's are my uniform). H&M good for maternity too but do not let the sizing depress you. It's different to most where you get your old size. This will depress you when you are huge.

Day off today (I work 3 days). Just debating whether to take DD to playgroup or tackle the pit that is the house. DH appears not to know what the hoover is for so nobody has hoovered since I started feeling rough.

AuntPittypat · 13/11/2013 10:56

Wispa, we got the Arrested Development boxset as a wedding present... Took a couple of episodes to get into it but now love it! Have never eaten frozen banana though, wasn't sure it was a real thing! Do you literally just stick a banana in the freezer or is it more than that?!

2 weeks today to my scan. Am so excited but also really nervous. Good luck to everyone with scans this week.

BEEwitched · 13/11/2013 11:17

I'm still in regular trousers but my jeans are always a bit loose in the waist because I need them bigger in the thigh area. Not much longer n I e, though.

I have my scan next Thursday, hopefully it'll confirm that all is still going well.

tannyLoo72 · 13/11/2013 11:29

Hi everyone, thought I'd pop in.

I was in this thread until a month ago when I mc'd at 6 weeks, and had to pull out. Was 3rd mc in a row and was very low about my options as I instantly became a statistic.

Anyhoo... Am now pg again, approx 4 weeks if you take 1st day of mc as day 1, and as nervous as hell. Superstition is stopping me from joining the July thread, and July seems like some distant and promised land atm!

So, just wanted to tell you my news, as I had loads of support from you lovely lot, and really pleased to see you're all still here!

Lmf679 · 13/11/2013 11:41

tanny that is such good news! So happy for you. Everything crossed! Let us know how you get on.

NessieMcFessie · 13/11/2013 11:50

Great news tanny!

NessieMcFessie · 13/11/2013 11:52

Well....still off sick, haven't kept any food in for a week now and spent last night having panic attacks after googling and convincing myself that every minor twinge was something wrong with the baby. Can't stay away from the bathroom long enough to go to docs - although she doesn't seem too concerned. Am desperate to go for a scan though.....and am so fed up. Bloody google, bloody stomach flu.

dramajustfollowsme · 13/11/2013 11:54

Fingers crossed Tanny! I had multiple miscarriages and a still-born baby boy before finally getting lucky with Dd. This my first pregnancy since having her and I am not totally convinced yet. It has been too easy so far...Grin
However, I am having to wear my "really fat" jeans! I have a definite tummy.
