Well I am amazed that I actually slept all the way through last night and have woken up hungry! Still feel absolutely wiped out and shivery, BUT things seem to be slowly improving day by day and no vomming now for 24 hours! About to go and see how DH is - he slept on the sofa last night bless him so I could have the whole bed to prop myself up in. Will be calling in sick today though - have never had a day off sick with this job, but its time to think of bubs and get myself better for him...

Have been away a few days (and had a bit of a blip with some initially terrifying baby news) so not properly caught up, but just wanted to wish space and mrspace a peaceful, special and stress free day today. Idris was a beautiful boy, and my thoughts, prayers and love are with you all. Xxx

Contractions definitely seem to have eased since yesterday. They did warn me that the fibroids can cause contractions and these may or may not lead to preterm labour, so I'm guessing it's 'normal'.
We find out next month what's happening with the fibroids. Exciting

I'm just on my way back from gtt, not too bad at all. I was expecting to feel rotten but my body must be used to all the sugar I eat ha ha

Just back from midwife, and she's made an appointment for me at the hospital this afternoon to have baby's (lack of) movement monitored. Feel like a bit of a fraud because she's wriggling a bit at the moment, but she's concerned about the consistent lack of movement apparently.

Glad the contractions have eased off toby

Book hope everything's ok in there - definitely better to go in that spend all day/night worrying. I had a similar worry the other day, since little one has been super wriggly, periods of quiet always worry me. DH keeps reminding me that she needs to sleep too! Hope you get everything sorted at your appointment. Good luck.

I have the dreaded glucose test first thing tomorrow. I seem to have the fasting thing all wrong though, and have been running from meeting to meeting today and haven't eaten a thing since breakfast, 9 hours ago. Oops. Not feeling great for it either. Hope everyone is on wind down for the weekend.

I had midwife yesterday. Anyone else hate actually hate their midwife and want to smack her one? Shes such a grumpy cow who seems like she never has no time for me. She never ever remembers me at all to be honest. Have to go thru the same thing each time. Well apparently I've gone from measuring a week behind to a week ahead! Dont trust her with that tape measure though. Good news is no trace of glucose so dont have to have the furthur gestational diabetes tests for now.

Right back to work....
