Hi new and lurking peeps!

moomin I can't believe you're making me keep the cat Hmm lol

Can't remember who asked but she pooped on the floor because I forgot to let her out prior to going to the doctors and then they were late for my appointment which I should have know because it happens every time

Squiffie · 24/10/2013 16:50

I feel like I've made progress today as I've only felt sick but actually managed to eat without being sick

I think mumsnet need a green sick face smiley!

CbeebiesIsMyLife · 24/10/2013 16:52

They have Halloween Envy it's close enough for me!

Squiffie · 24/10/2013 16:58

Well I kept thinking about using that but was a bit Hmm about it!

dobedobedo · 24/10/2013 17:35

Squiffy I think my sickness is starting to go too! I was a tiny bit sick this afternoon, but the all day nausea seems to have gone!! Grin Grin Grin I've just had pockets of it throughout the day.

And yesterday I got in the car at the end of the work day and for the first time in about 6 weeks, I didn't freak dh out with my dry heaving! Whoop!

TBH I was petrified it would never go away!

AliOh · 24/10/2013 17:45

Hello and welcome rushy and kally

Day 3 of no sickness here :) yay!! Hoping it's actually gone this time Hmm

moominleigh94 · 24/10/2013 17:56

My sickness seems to have well and truly gone away Grin yay!

OH couldn't resist Grin we went out and bought the stuff... and on the way out OH said he didn't want to wait, so we adopted Tiny there and then!

I can't believe how far we have all come!! Sorry I don't know how to upload my scan pic to share with u

AliOh · 24/10/2013 18:55

I know thistle seems like we've all been waiting forever to get this far! Now I'm nearly 12 weeks I'm wondering where the time has gone! I bet it all moves pretty quickly from here too - will be Xmas before we know it :)

snoozysleeper · 24/10/2013 19:19

Welcome rush and kally Smile

I'm only 9+3 , feels like ages away to me!! It's probably because my scan is the best part of 4 weeks away yet

mumof2aimingfor4 · 24/10/2013 19:27

snoozy dont worry im only 10 weeks today so im slacking behind with you. Haven't got my scan till 15th of November.

Yay moomin hope your new addition settles in well.

Hello newbies!!!! :)

Xavielli · 24/10/2013 19:35

Had a rubbish day here :( DS2 lost his balance on the buggy board and pulled his elbow so we spent 5hrs in A&E and they still aren't sure it's back in. Poor little chap.

I've not felt poorly though, despite not eating anything since 10am. And scan tomorrow to look forward to.

Rushyswife · 24/10/2013 19:47

Sorry to hear that (xavielli) must have been a horrid day! Hope scan tomorrow cheers you up!

Have people decided whether they will find put the gender, when the time comes yet?

randdom · 24/10/2013 19:49

I am feeling miserable today. I am tired, I can't stop being sick. I haven't even had my booking visit yet (is tuesday) let alone got a date for a scan. It just seems never ending. My husband is being lovely but i can tell it is really getting to him how miserable I am. I just never thought it would be like this.

Flixy102 · 24/10/2013 19:54

Posting on my phone so can't see how to reply to etc but Thanks to everyone who needs them. (I am a rubbish maybie!)

Felt very uncomfortable earlier, felt a bit bloated and painful, was very aware of belly etc and was very worried about what it could be.

It was wind Blush

Also just went to iron and got my GHDs out instead of the iron!

dobedobedo · 24/10/2013 20:14

Today is my Friday! Grin day off tomorrow, yay!

Had some sharp stabbing pains in my stomach earlier. Really freaked me out until I realised they were much too high to be baby related. Probably just wind! Blush

impatientlywaiting · 24/10/2013 20:20

Rushy I'm definitely going to fine out. I can't wait. I have booked a scan for 3 weeks Saturday when I'll be 16 weeks.

To everyone 9-10 weeks, I felt that weeks 10 and 11 were no way near as long as the ones before it. I'm sure years passed whilst I was waiting to get from 4-10 weeks pregnant, then time suddenly seemed to go much faster.

moominleigh94 · 24/10/2013 20:32

Rushy I'll be finding out. I'm really excited Grin I don't go for the whole pink/blue thing for girls/boys so a little girl will be wearing clothes with dinosaurs on regardless (I'm big on dinosaurs), but I like being able to plan. Plus, all being well, the 20 week scan will be a couple of weeks before Christmas :) lovely Christmas present.

We'll be keeping it a secret in RL, but I won't be able to keep it a secret from everyone, so you all may end up finding out before family do Grin

Hezbean · 24/10/2013 21:01

We can't decide whether to find out or not. In some ways I really want to know, but I think the whole speculation thing could be really fun! I keep changing my mind and so does DH.

impatientlywaiting · 24/10/2013 21:03

I thought that I spotted a boy nub on my scan, and I posted my scan pics onto a gender guessing website and 9 of the 11 responses said they think boy too, the other responses said they couldn't tell. So I think I'm definitely having a boy.

Hezbean · 24/10/2013 21:06

Do any of you have a preference for a boy or girl? I mean, I'm sure everyone will just be happy to have a healthy baby, but for example my dh I think would love a boy if he could choose. We have agreed on boys names but not girls so far!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 24/10/2013 21:12

Hezbean my dp wanted a boy and both times we've got girls. He absolutely dotes on them and although he says it'd be nice to have a boy he says he loves his girls. I however am desperate to get a boy!

thistlelicker · 24/10/2013 21:13

My twenty week scan is 17the dec, a week before Xmas !!!! Then I go away for my birthday on New Year's Day ! So will be abroad at 22 weeks and come back 24 weeks a lot of people think I'm stupid but it was booked well before pregnancy

LittleBairn · 24/10/2013 21:14

My DH would love a girl. I've always seen myself as the mother of loads of boys plus nannying I always found boys easier. Plus I'm not sure I could cope with a pink princess type.

I miss my boy and the future snatched away from us but at the same time I wouldn't want them muddled up in my head.

Hezbean · 24/10/2013 21:15

mumof2 ah bless. Are you going to find out?

I know he'd dote on a girl too but I think it's something about carrying on the surname. His is quite rare and I don't think there's anyone else who will carry it on.

He is also joking about putting a baby girl in a spurs football kit. Well I hope he's joking!!!
