Hi ismarah, just seen your post. Hope you're feeling ok? I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you but I have my fingers crossed that this is normal spotting and nothing to worry about.

Ismarah - Ive had the same. Started yesterday. Mine seems to have stopped now. FX it stays that way. I have a scan this afternoon so hopefully will find out more then.
If it gets heavy or comes with pain you definitely go to your gp. FX for you.

I feel OK, a bit hesitant to go for a wee in case there's more but needs must and all that. Not had any more so far fx so it might just be a bit of spotting, just more than I had before / was expecting.

Might stick close to the sofa today though.

It's crossed my mind that this whole thing is liable to be quite dramatic, particularly when done in a sharing group setting like this.. #dramallamamamas

Congratulations to all the newbies. Yes, constant nausea is pretty par for the course am afraid. I'm finding constant nibbling of dry crackers, ginger biscuits and cold grapes helps a bit. 6+5 today.

Jaykay good luck for your scan this afternoon! Could you let me know if the FMC are open on a weekend please. Still thinking of having the Harmony test there, but DH doesn't have much holiday left from work so a Saturday would be best.

From what I've read it seems really common to get spotting early on. My only symptoms are tiredness and always hungry. I've a bit of an upset stomach for a couple of days, not sure if it's because certain foods don't agree with me now :(

mrsb. They are open Saturday's - but don't do harmony on the weekends.

with the harmony you have two appointments - 1st on to do quick us to check dates and then the blood test. then two weeks later you go back for a nuctal us and thr blood results.

I have the same problem. So if all is ok today - I might go on my own to the first appointment and take dh to the second.

You only get all the scans etc for the harmony price if your first appointment is between 10 and 10 and 6. I think this is their second round of research so the qualifying dates are quite specific.

Hi Ladies! Can I jump on board? Just found out I'm pregnant this week. BFP with FRER on Wed and confirmed with CB Digi this morning (after BFN on CB Digi yesterday!). Not entirely sure of my date as cycle has been seriously messed up last few months (40 and 60 days for the last 2), my best guess after using about 4 different online calculators is about 15th July.....eeeek so exciting!!

they found a heartbeat - 113 - which for my dates they were really happy.

I'm 6w today. Nothing much to report here other than nausea and a bit of light headedness. I'm struggling slightly to balance eating properly so I don't get too tired and run out of energy, and having no appetite because I'm queasy. Anybody got any tips?

Hi everyone and hello to all the newbies!

Well I told work and they were really cool bout it I also had my doctors appointment with the most nervous young doctor ever! He kept having to leave the room to ask the other doctor stuff! Everything in my immediate medical/family history looks good so he confirmed dates did blood pressure etc and has referred me on to the hospital/midwife.

Everything is looking pretty positive so I hope this little bean sticks. Im 5 weeks today and still bloated and sore boobs/back. Am lying with a cushion under me at the moment to relieve back ache a bit - to be fair have had a tough week of work and back is not the best on a good day! Not too tired today - may be able to stay awake for a bit to watch some tv later

I'm 5+5 and a massive worrier! First pregnancy and so glad i found this site! I keep having period like cramps which I find really worrying- is this what everyone else had at this stage?

My scan today puts me at 5w6 and Ive had quite a lot of period style loans in the last 24hours. Fingers crossed its just things moving about inside.
