Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
prambo2thereturn · 08/10/2013 00:03

We get to see our gorgeous baby in 8.5 hours!

prambo2thereturn · 08/10/2013 00:05

..off to watch Midwives right now, Marbie. Is it that frustrating? I'll try and guess who you're furious at...

IceNoSlice · 08/10/2013 02:51

Oh sleep, we used to be such good friends. Why do you desert me now? Come back, I need you!

JustCallMeBaldrick · 08/10/2013 05:52

Ow, ow, ow!!! Bloody carpal tunnel syndrome Sad I finally got to sleep at about 2.30 (thanks a bunch, DS1), then DD woke up at 5, and my hand hurts so much I can't get back to sleep.
I've had a dead arm feeling all day, but now it's focused on my thumb, and I just want to rip it off. Going shopping for w wrist splint tomorrow. Annoyingly, I already have one, but it's for the other hand. How bloody annoying is that?!
Ice, I hope you finally got to sleep!

prambo2thereturn · 08/10/2013 07:05

Oh, you two Sad

What the bloody hell is going on?? It's pitch black outside! I have to walk through a park to get to my bus stop. Alone. In this dark. Can you believe th'usband is not allowed to give me a lift to the scan in his works van? So I have to trudge through the park and spend £4.60 on the bus whilst he gets to drive there straight from work. He'll drive past me at the bus stop, too Shock

Can't wait to see t'little 'un though Grin

apprenticemamma · 08/10/2013 07:07

me threeSad awake since 4.30 thanks to bladder toddler oh and palpitations. A loooooong day looms.Shock ..

apprenticemamma · 08/10/2013 07:09

pram good luck! !!! Shit about works van and Id have thought u of all people would disregard that one Wink

prambo2thereturn · 08/10/2013 07:09

Oh, Marbie, you gorra spare telly? I smashed mine to pieces last night watching The Midwives Angry

prambo2thereturn · 08/10/2013 07:11

Apprentice, it's th'usbnad who won't break the rules. I honestly don't think he'd let me in that fucker even if I was in labour Hmm

x0gawjus0x · 08/10/2013 07:20

ALready had two egg custard tarts on the way to work tempeted to have a third but then ill only have one left :(!!

lumpylumps · 08/10/2013 07:35

Morning all!!! Do I have to get up??? I'm so tempted to pull a sicky but I still have to get the boys to school and nursery!

I had a big Mac for tea last night. "Treated" ds1 for getting an achievement certificate at school last week!!

apprenticemamma · 08/10/2013 07:41

was gonna say Prambo , u gonna bus it to labour ?!!Grin Bleddy usband.

commsgirl · 08/10/2013 07:45

It's too early for buses Prambo. I'd have sneaked myself in the back of the van and jumped out at the hospital like a fugitive.

Another one with no sleep last night. Worst. Heartburn. Ever.

Rockchick1984 · 08/10/2013 07:51

What times the scan Prambo? I just know it'll all be perfect for you! Still think you should find out what you're having its a boy to satisfy your my curiosity Grin

Oops. Sorry, didn't mean to post that again!!

MummyPig24 · 08/10/2013 08:35

What a weird rule pram, why isn't he allowed to take you in the van?

I had a pretty good sleep last night, which makes it so much harder to get up. I need some strawberries pretty urgently so I will be going to the co op when I've dropped my little blighters off.

FoxMulder · 08/10/2013 08:56

That's a ridiculous rule about the work van Pram. Properly stupid. But nevermind, you'll be well on your way to the scan by now.

I have to say, you do seem to know some generous people on the baby-gifting front. No one has given me anything. Oh, except my colleague who gave me a half used box of nappy bags.

So, I need a daily morning whinge now: bloody work. I really hate fulltime work. I have a list as long as my arm of things that need doing at home, nevermind the things I would actually like to do, but there's no chance of getting any of them done because I'm always at bloody work. My routine goes something like this: work, eat, sleep, repeat. Weekend: do all the jobs that there wasn't time for in the week. Prepare for going back to work. Aaaargh! And I know I don't even have a leg to stand on in the complaining department because most people work much longer hours and much harder than me with more commitments outside of work etc.

I'm not a morning person, you can probably tell.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 08/10/2013 09:31

Oh Fox, moan away. It's totally rubbish Sad

Prambo I am so excited to hear how you get on!! Also can't believe you're not allowed in the van. Look at ManPram playing by the rules Wink. Was so frustrating last night wasn't it!

Sorry to hear about the rubbish sleeps. Thank fully these new drugs knock me out, so my insomnia is temporarily cured!

I think I'm having a growth spurt. My tummy is really achey.

MummyPig24 · 08/10/2013 09:43

Fox this is the place to moan, we don't mind!

I had an amazing breakfast. Chocolate fudge brownie frijj, chocolate twist and strawberries. Now watching midwives. I feel so lazy, I should be doing something.

Rockchick1984 · 08/10/2013 09:50

Ugh, really need to stop eating everything in sight - I'd only put on a couple of lb until 2 weeks ago, just weighed myself and I'm up 11lb now compared to pre pregnancy Sad Its still nowhere near as bad as when I had DS (1.5 stone approx by this stage) but I know its mostly overeating rather than baby, so going to try and be a bit healthier.

On a completely unrelated subject, top cashback have half price dominos pizza with £9.99 cashback!

commsgirl · 08/10/2013 09:52

Maybs you might wake up with a massive bump tomorrow! How are you feeling?

Pram hurry up and tell us about your baby

Fox I had a rant very similar to yours the other day. I feel like I need an extra weekend to make up for the fact I spend my whole weekend washing and cleaning! Counting down to maternity leave!

commsgirl · 08/10/2013 09:53

Rock I know what I'm having for tea!!

LyraSilvertongue · 08/10/2013 10:05

Morning all. The sun is shining here Smile

Pram, your man deserves a kick in the balls for making you get the bus. Rules are there to be broken (well, stupid ones anyway)

Thanks Pram and Abi for your wise words on the XP situation. It's been a horrible few days but I won't bore you all with the details.

I need to go food shopping for lasagne ingredients. I've been promising the boys for days that I'd make it so gotta get on with it. Will also visit the market for some bargain veg.

XP is putting his house on the market today so hopefully it will only be a few months till he gives me my pay-off and I'll be free of him financially Grin Thinking of using some of the money to get my eyes lasered and I'll definitely be buying a new car. My car is quite elderly and overdue for retirement. DP wants us to buy a Hummer Hmm

Beccadugs · 08/10/2013 10:32

Morning ladies.

Very worried. My muscle spasm pain is getting worse, and I am a bit worried I have become incontinet.
Can you get bad pain from constipation? Is it normal to be v wet down below (sorry tmi, but smelly too, even after washing)? Could I be having a growth spurt?

I just don't feel right, and am worried something is wrong with the baby. Have my consultants appt the afternoon, so will talk it through then, but slightly feeling out if I'm honest.
