I've been awake since 6am and it's been lovely reading through your funny/lovely/kinda gross messages. Awww. Thanks

bouncysmiley · 28/09/2013 07:54

I feel for you facebook if it all gets too much just say you're ill and have a quiet day lounging while they rush around.

Feeling a not better today. Got my twelve week scan booked for 15 Oct! Thinking of taking dd who will be 2. Anyone else find this helpful with explaining what's happening?

Chip86 · 28/09/2013 08:14

Morning All

Nanny ew no wonder you left yuck

Bouncy if they let you take your DD then i think thats lovely some hospitals dont let you

Right going to try to sleep some more as i only got up to pee but had to check MN as im addicted

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 08:40

My local hospital is one that lets siblings in for all appointments/scans. I dont see ehy some hospital would want to deny that to a young mind, surely it helps them to understand and start building a bond.

Can't wait to get my hair re-highlighted today, ive got the most amazing gay hairdresser! OH and I are having a 'date night' tonight whilst my parents have the kids!

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 08:41

Chip checking mumsnet is a necessity us ladies talk so bloody much if we don't check in regularly we'll lose track or have 100's of posts to read in one go!

Isean · 28/09/2013 09:19

Marking my spot!

Hope all you lovely ladies are doing well & your wee plus ones are cooking along nicely!

Nausea, vomit, headache, shakes, exhaustion, tears, etc for me this week!

9+5

NannyPlumForPM · 28/09/2013 09:29

I know tears! Dd just did her first ballet lesson and I was so tearful. Bloody wimp Grin

moominleigh94 · 28/09/2013 09:42

This cough and cold is still lingering Sad

Anyone decided if they're going to get the flu jab yet?

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 09:48

Im steering clear of flu jab! Didn't have it when carrying dd2 and the swine flu jab was included. I don't thnk they test on pregnant women do they? So how can we know its safe?

dobedobedo · 28/09/2013 09:59

I think I'll get the flu jab. I hate needles but I had the proper flu once 10 years ago and it was the worst time of my life! Thought I was going to die. I don't like the idea of having it again while pregnant!

In other news, when do you think my dh will piss off and take ds to drama so I can scoff nice n spicey nik naks for breakfast? Grin

moominleigh94 · 28/09/2013 10:01

I'm not fussed over needles, never bothered me, but I hate the flu, and being on a course at uni where you're spending up to 10 hours a day in close confines with people... I don't know if it's a disaster waiting to happen!

thistlelicker · 28/09/2013 10:10

Oh my! I'm almost 30 and just
Bought
One direction tickets!!! Bean will be 4 weeks old!!

moominleigh94 · 28/09/2013 10:12

Haha thistle by personal choice or under duress from someone? Grin

moominleigh94 · 28/09/2013 10:15

I'm craving potatoes and cheese right now... something I've never had any interest in before.... but I feel sick, and 10am is too early to eat potatoes and cheese, isn't it?

thistlelicker · 28/09/2013 10:22

Guilty pleasure ;-)

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 10:29

thistle me too!!! Im taking my 9 year old and her friend with my mate and her daughter. Block 141 row 18! I have to admit although im a rock music kinda gal I do like a bit of 1D! I have to admit though I cant contain myself over seeing 30stm in November.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 28/09/2013 10:31

Just realised I had to admit twice! Fricking hate repeating myself, really should read my posts before posting them so I dont sound like a tw*t!

randdom · 28/09/2013 10:38

I am going to get the flu jab. I get it every year anyway due to work and I wouldn't want to risk the flu.

I have a day out with some of my friends planned today. Thankfully I don't drink normally but I do worry that someone will twig!

Chip86 · 28/09/2013 10:40

Moomin you are pregnant its never to early to eat anything you fancy especialy if its going to stay down Smile

Yes mumof2 this thread does move fast if you dont check in every day you end up with so much reading to do hehehe

moominleigh94 · 28/09/2013 10:46

Thanks Chip Grin

If OH gets back and asks why I'm eating cheesy potatoes at 11am, I'll swing for him Angry Wink

dobedobedo · 28/09/2013 10:46

Moomin, you're pregnant! You can eat what you want, when you want. Thems the rules Wink

Cybercat · 28/09/2013 10:51

Morning all! What are your weekend plans? DH has gone to work, he took an overtime shift today to get some money saved. I have the second load of washing in the machine and have upset the neighbours by mowing the lawn (they gave me a filthy look and slammed the bedroom window!). I wouldn't have mowed the lawn at 10am on a Sunday but I don't think a Saturday is that unreasonable. My energy levels plummet by about 2pm so I'm doing as much as I can early.

Karma bit me on the bum though as I've just found that my laptop has been sprayed on again. One of our cats has behavioural issues when it comes to spraying (for 3 1/2 years now) and despite all advice we are getting nowhere. It is driving me to think awful things - she is having an ultrasound herself next week to look for evidence of cancer and I'm ashamed of what I've been thinking.

I will be having the flu jab, as I am at a higher risk due to working with patients and also being pregnant I'm not risking. Not keen on the idea of it when pregnant but flu hits pregnant women so much harder and our infection control nurse tole me this week that every winter they have at least one pregnant lady in intensive care due to flu.

AliOh · 28/09/2013 11:00

moomin if that's what you fancy, eat it! I must admit that I have a tonne of chicken stew left over from last nights meal and I am tempted :)

Kri5ty · 28/09/2013 11:12
