Hello, I am also expecting in May! I am 6 weeks, and expecting my fourth, Have had a bit of a gap, my girls are 11, and 9 and my son is 6 - he will be 7 in May, so I will be 7 years out of practice!! very excited but also very nervous. Getting big quickly at the moment and feeling sick constantly, but never actually sick, which is how I was with the others! Nice to meet you all :)

Chip86 · 29/09/2013 14:48

Hi skip wellcome and congratulations

I've always wanted 4 but this is my first and the way im feeling might be my last, im tucked up in bed full of cold feeling sorry for myself because i cant take anything

Hope every one else is having a better sunday

moominleigh94 · 29/09/2013 14:51

I think I can see where you're coming from Chip. The symptoms are driving me crazy; not being able to eat anything until at least noon and having to lie down in bed because standing up makes me nauseous; the hormones (just freaked out OH by laughing and crying hysterically at the same time), the tiredness, headaches... I know how lucky I am, and I feel awful to say it, but it really is hard going. Just got to keep thinking of the end product :)

I'm also lucky in that in seven or eight years time, which is probably the earliest we'd consider trying for another, I'll hopefully have all but forgotten this suffering and just want another one!

NannyPlumForPM · 29/09/2013 15:15

Hiya girlies- just checking in. According to babycenter I'm 9 weeks today!! Not sure how accurate that is Hmm not long to go hehe. 1/4 of the way there!

ThePFJ · 29/09/2013 15:19

EVERYONE who is having trouble breathing because of cold/flu or whatever you should really really be talking to your doctor about whether you need a ventolin inhaler for your pregnancy. Oxygen for the baby is you and your doctor's prime concern, and if you are wheezy or breathless you will get given an inhaler..... please at least call for advice.....

Change of subject: My DH is being a total Barsteward.Seriously I want to kill him. His social life is important.. but I CAN NOT do him being up all night Friday and SAturday anymore... he sleeps all day sat and sunday and we don't see him now. He used to just sleep in a bit late. Now its gotten bad. And today he accused of remembering our conversations all wrong because I am pregnant. I am so angry. So teary and emotional right now...... .... feck it.

ThePFJ · 29/09/2013 15:25

Now I want to cry more because I can't find the tab on the stats page to see the graphs..... not a good day for me...

Squiffie · 29/09/2013 16:26

We're just off out for food because I burnt the Sunday roast, and then cried for 10 minutes!

AliOh · 29/09/2013 16:31

Feel for you ThePFJ my DP is EXACTLY the same although he goes to bed late most nights of the week! In all fairness he works in a pub and is therefore used to starting late and working until late but he regularly doesn't get up until the afternoon and it's rare for him to go to bed before 3am. I told him when baby arrives if he's awake then he can do the night feeds lol!

AliOh · 29/09/2013 16:33

Welcome to the new Maybies as well :)

Oh no squiffie :( DP is just about to drive for over an hour because I REALLY want a KFC! Under the thumb springs to mind Wink hehe although I think he is mad for one too :)

lolablu · 29/09/2013 17:15

welcome new maybies..
Iv decided being vertical is over rated. Horizontal is so much better.. Ironic as its being horizontal that got me to this poimt. Iv read that by 7 weeks chances of the dreaded mc go down.. Fx.. Im 7+3

Halfbaked · 29/09/2013 17:16

Hi just checking out Sad
Started bleeding last night and been in hospital all day. Definitely a miscarriage, waiting to see if I need surgery. Hoping I can just go home and eat.

Good luck to you all and your sticky blueberries/ raspberries/ olives.

Choppa · 29/09/2013 17:43

The PFJ totally sympathise with the bastarward... I have one too. Argh.

I hit 6 weeks last Sat and it was like a switch flicked and the sickness set in... Only fizzy water will do. Boobs like rocks. Such a shocker as I had NO symptoms with my DS! Blurgh

We have our private scan on Fri 4th... F x

Chops 7+1

ThePFJ · 29/09/2013 17:44

Halfbaked I am soooo sooo sorry...... hugs xxxxxx

AliOh Your comment helped me feel better..... thank you. Squeezy hug for you as well.

Squiffie I feel for you, I lost it with the bread maker last night and burnt my hand. I think I should be banned from the kitchen... if DH will help me.......

mumof2aimingfor4 · 29/09/2013 17:46

Oh ffs halfbaked love and cuddles to you.

ThePFJ · 29/09/2013 17:50

AWwwww Choppa thanks. One thing I can share from 10 pregnancies... each one was COMPLETELY different. Some had sickness, others just nausea, some no nausea at all..... boobs felt different every time, cravings were different, my mood swings.... just everything. I used to use my pg with DS as a yard stick.. but there really is no point!! I was shocked at the differences between pg's..........

7 + 6 today xxxxx

Squiffie · 29/09/2013 17:52
