I decided to take a peek into the antenatal club threads, but there's no June thread yet, although for good reason.

I may be jinxing myself here, but after a couple very very faint positives on ICs for the last couple days I got a positive on an FRER this morning, so thought it would be safe to start one up.

Of course, still early days, but if it sticks my due date will be 3-5 June, depending on several websites.... What can I say, I tested early!

I hope someone comes to join me soon. There have to be some more recent BFPs....

Ginger..... DH and I havent dtd since getting my bfp which was a week ago today!
I'm sure we will but we have pretty low sex drives anyway and also work/life has been manic this week so we haven't really thought about it.

However something in the back of my mind tells me maybe not to do it... I'm scared it might cause an issue? BlushSad

GillyBillyWilly · 06/10/2013 12:10

Following on... I actually think my DH is pleased to have a break from ttc! Grin It was quite hard work!

cheesysmile · 06/10/2013 12:16

Ginger we have but in other ways if that makes sense. I'm a bit nervous abt actually doing it "normally" but im sure its fine really.

IBelieveInEngels · 06/10/2013 12:33

Afternoon all. Welcome to everyone who's jumped aboard since I was last on.

Signed up via email with mw today too impatient to wait so they should call me this week to set up appointments. Last time with DC1 I had my booking in appointment and scan on the same day at about 10 weeks (not in the UK). Will be 5w tomorrow so still very early days.

ginger it hasn't come up yet mostly because poorly DS has sared our bed the last 2 nights but if last pg is anything to go by I will be feeling pretty sick for the next 6 weeks.

clever I reckon you must have hidden it. Check your account settings. It's easily done, especially if you're on a tablet or phone.

TinyTear · 06/10/2013 12:53

No symptoms as such. Just tiredness, extra sense of smell and that's about it. But never had many symptoms in any of my pregnancies.
May be drying up a bit as my 20 month old is drinking more milk from a cup and wanting the breast mostly to fall asleep

littlepickly · 06/10/2013 14:00

Hello everyone! Smile

Just wanted to join you all as have just had BFP today, I think I am due 13 June - did 2 tesco hpt yesterday and they had a very faint line, I was pretty sure that I was preggo so bought a clear blue digital today and got a lovely BFP - was showing 1-2 weeks and 3+ weeks so not sure what that is all about but I'm pretty sure I conceived 2 weeks ago! So I should be 4+1 Grin

This is my second pregnancy and we already have 2 yr old DD, feeling ok so far have felt a bit hot in the evenings and hungry and bloaty all the time but other than that pretty normal. Boobs don't seem to be as sore as last time but that was the giveaway for me as I knew they were feeling different.

Looking forward to getting to know you all - how exciting!

airyfairy123 · 06/10/2013 14:06

Hi
Thought I'd join this group as I found out I was pregnant yesterday (did two strip hcg tests at home) and they were both positive, then I did a digital clear blue one today and it said 'pregnant' and 3+ meaning I'm 5+ weeks pregnant... not sure exactly how far.

How is everyone/was everyone feeling at that stage? I've been feeling really sick for the past 5 or so days - no appetite etc. We didn't plan this, so I've gone and got multivitamins etc...

Hope everyone is doing well. :-)

Karmalaa · 06/10/2013 15:16

hi everyone, hi to the new peeps and congrats on you BFP!!

Gingerandcocoa We were dtd during the TWW which I know some people don't do, we dtd for the first time since BFP yesterday (BFP on Wednesday) I was a little nervous beforehand but all fine. I think it's just down to how you feel about it, everyone's different.

IBelieveInEngels · 06/10/2013 17:50

Just got email from mw to say booking in appt and echo on 11th nov. Sod's law we are spending the weekend in uk, seeing my family and friends. Wonder if it'll still be hide able or will I have to come clean. Really wanted to wait till echo before telling anyone except my best friend, and my closest colleague, and my running partner..err

Snowlet · 06/10/2013 19:11

Welcome to the new BFPs, there's loads, blimey! you go away for one weekend and suddenly everyone's up the duff ;)

Just popped on to say that, er, my DP and I have DTD a few times, no problems, no pain, no spotting, though I'm slightly more dry than normal.... I'm 4+6 today if that helps

Not worried about DTD at all, maybe I should be but good lord, so many other things to worry about! but yes, definitely everyone is different

sebsmummy1 · 06/10/2013 19:18

Sorry guys, I'm afraid I started bleeding heavily soon after I announced the pregnancy in here, so I am out. If you would remove my name from the list i'd be grateful.

Happy and healthy pregnancies everyone xxxx

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 06/10/2013 21:23

Lil bean is already deciding what I can & can't eat. Love muller champagne corner yogurts, not anymore! Coffee monster, nope hot chocolate or no hot drinks thank you!

CleverOl10 · 06/10/2013 22:14

Wondering if I can blame the almost entire chocolate orange I just ate on the babe but thinking that might just be me.....

blondiedollface · 06/10/2013 22:25

Having a bit of a wobble tonight, just a bit nervous that having a second is sensible now wrt finances and what we'd need to buy for a second with DD only being 15mo currently. Ahhhh, I think I'm just still in shock from my bfp and it'll all calm down once I've got my head around it...

pomdereplay · 06/10/2013 22:50

You're not alone blondie. DD is 19 months here but I am having more than a little wobble.

CleverOl10 · 06/10/2013 23:10

Just think of all the things you've already got that you can reuse. Add nine months onto your current children and think of what they will have grown out of. Try not to stress now. Easily said I know but you know it will work out in the end. Happy thoughts and Thanks for the wobbles x
