I decided to take a peek into the antenatal club threads, but there's no June thread yet, although for good reason.

I may be jinxing myself here, but after a couple very very faint positives on ICs for the last couple days I got a positive on an FRER this morning, so thought it would be safe to start one up.

Of course, still early days, but if it sticks my due date will be 3-5 June, depending on several websites.... What can I say, I tested early!

I hope someone comes to join me soon. There have to be some more recent BFPs....

Thanks Gilly, that's what my DH keeps telling me. I guess I'm worried as my HCG levels are far too low for my dates. That's what happened the last time I was pregnant and ended up with a miscarriage :( It's taken us 13 months to get a BFP hence all of these emotions.

Congratulations Tiny, you'll be seeing your little bean on screen in 6 weeks time :)

wispaxmas · 06/10/2013 08:24

Will update the list a bit later this morning, just waiting to see if anyone from the October bus is coming to join us.. They've had a couple more BFPs this weekend..

London, check out the website www.betabase.info, it lists highest and lowest hcg levels reported by women with successful pregnancy for each dpo. There really is a huge range of variation. If you hcg doubles every 72 hrs and you had a starting level of 1 and implantation didn't happen until 10dpo, at 28dpo it would still only be 64, and in the same situation with doubling every 48 hours it would only be 512. Granted, this is probably the very lowest it could be to be a Healy pregnancy, and most would probably be much higher by then..

You all seem very knowledgeable and on the ball! I'm 4+4 and not sure if it is too early to go to gp. Turns out I have to be referred to midwife so need a pointless gp appt first. Is it too early to phone up tomorrow or is it better to get in the system?

CleverOl10 · 06/10/2013 08:53

Also is it just me or has this page disappeared off the antenatal group list?! Can't see it there at all.

barnsey14 · 06/10/2013 08:53

hi everyone, been lurking for a while and thought it's probably about time i posted! found out last week and just taken a second test this morning so there is definately no denying it now Smile i think i'd be due 8th june and its the first for me. now just waiting for the midwife to phone with a date for my first appointment excited

I'm falling behind a bit on the thread, I've been so busy with work! I'm not really on the ball, I just got so worried about hcg levels that I worked it out yesterday (or was it the day before..).

Welcome to all the newbies, there were loads of you and I missed a few yesterday!

tannyloo, congrats on getting hitched next week! I really hope the nausea subsides if only for the day.

catslicer, sorry I missed your question. Did anyone else answer? I don't think I saw anything, but have a look at this list of acronyms, it should help you out with it all.

Whoop whoop!! Got the faintest of positives and an implantation bleed today. Still feeling tentative but have a plethora of pregnancy symptoms so I'm hoping I have a sticky bean who's all snug in there Grin

This will be number 2 for me. My son is nearly 11 months old and I am still nursing him.

Look forward to getting to know everyone over the next 9 months xxxx

sebsmummy1 · 06/10/2013 09:19

Due date 14th June but I ovulated late so I suspect my real due date might be a bit later than that Hmm

GillyBillyWilly · 06/10/2013 09:41

Clever call your gp and get an appointment!
I called mine earlier this week, had an appointment and am now looking forward to my first midwife appt on 23rd.

I will be 5 weeks tomorrow Smile

4+6 today and was 4+1 when I saw my doctor! She thinks I'm more like 6 weeks already based on when my last cycle started but I ovulated late so I know better Grin

Gingerandcocoa · 06/10/2013 09:44

Just updating the list... (Daisy had asked to be removed Sad)

Karmalaa · 06/10/2013 09:46

hello everyone, I have decided that being at work (and therefore distracted) is way better for me than being at home! I drove myself nuts yesterday. Took a clear blue digi in the morning and it said 1-2.... According to fertility friend I was 23 DPO so thought it would say at least 2-3. It was so nice to see the word "pregnant" but then started worrying, why was it showing on 1-2? Having gone back and super analysed my graph, dates, temps etc I now conclude that I ovulated 4/5 days after FF thinks I did. Would this make sense??

CleverOl10 · 06/10/2013 09:48

Thanks gilly - I will do!!!

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 06/10/2013 10:06

Crazily it does feel nice feeling sick as it makes it feel more real but as I'm still doing night feeds with my toddler I'm also hoping the sickness isn't too bad. I have greasy skin & hair this morn, very attractive.
I'm on my phone so can't go backbit someone was asking about ovulating later? Ff had me on one date but opk didn't show ovulation until 5 days later so my period isn't technically even due until Tuesday hence my faint but getting darker positives. I feel like a loon poas every day & am saving my last one for Tuesday now Grin that could explain the 1-2 weeks rather than the 2-3 you were expecting

cheesysmile · 06/10/2013 10:07

Morning ladies, I've been away for a couple of days and just took me an hour to catch up ...

So sorry Daisy and hang in there Lucy Flowers

Welcome to all the new ladies Smile

According to my calculations I'm 5+1 today. Not many symptoms really, my boobs I think are kinda fuller with a bit of tingling and I've been more tired and emotional than normal, but no sickness or anything like that yet. Figure its still quite early though.

Clever I had my GP appt last Monday when I was only 4+2 and now have my midwife appt booked for 24th.

Kama try not to worry, if you ovulated later than you thought then this would definitely effect the wks on a digi test.

lucyfluff · 06/10/2013 10:22

Thanks cheesey :) and hope everyone else is feeling ok today.

My bleeding has stopped so I'm unsure even more now...still having waves of nausea too. Had a lovely night out last night for my bday so that cheered me up too :)

CleverOl10 · 06/10/2013 10:23

Still can't find this thread anywhere but on my bookmark. Have I done something to hide it? Can't see it in the ante-natal club list or under threads im on!! Have I clicked something?! Lol. Surely it can't be baby brain already....

Gingerandcocoa · 06/10/2013 10:44

Hi Clever, it's showing ok to me under "Threads I'm on"...

cheesysmile · 06/10/2013 10:45

Clever I'm not sure sorry ...

Lucy, glad the bleeding has stopped. Hopefully its just one of those things and everything is ok. When are you testing again, will they give you a scan if still positive?

wispaxmas · 06/10/2013 11:32

Clever, are you looking in the right section? 5th down when I just checked! There's a 'hide this thread' button, maybe you accidentally clicked it. If you click it again does it unhide it? Maybe look in settings? Also, I went in to see the GP when I was 4+6, a week ago tomorrow. He said he would refer me ASAP to the midwives, but still haven't heard from them... It makes sense to get in the system quickly.

Lucy, so glad the bleeding stopped!!!

karma, I think that would make sense, but remember that hcg levels aren't the same from person to person and if your double at a slower (but still normal) rate, the digital might not be accurate for you.

As for me, I'm 5+5, have very short tiny bouts of nausea, but nothing lasting, and I wonder if it's really anything or if I'm just imagining it. My rash has started to spread down my torso.... I'm definitely calling the GP about it in the morning. No one ever told me pregnancy would come with a goddamn rash. It's my last day of work and I'm sat here eating leftover cake from my 'leaving do' on Friday and doing no work. Just can't be bothered.

OP posts:
lucyfluff · 06/10/2013 11:44

Well I'm staying neutral at the moment and my gut instinct isn't really telling me either way!!! Going to test Friday with digi and then ring GP for advice, they are pretty good at giving calls back. He did say if it was still positive they would scan to see what's going on.

I've linked this thread to what I'm on too x

Gingerandcocoa · 06/10/2013 11:46

Can I ask a bit of a personal question... is everyone still DTD post BFP?? I know that I've read everywhere that there is no known link between DTD and MC but I am terrified.

wispaxmas · 06/10/2013 11:52

ginger we haven't, but only because as soon as I got my bfp I came down with a horrible cold and it's only just going away now. Still coughing, though. Also, this rash is making me feel decidedly un-sexy Sad

pomdereplay · 06/10/2013 11:57

Hello, may I join?

EDD of 28th May according to my LMP but I know this is wrong -- I have had weird, irregular periods due to breastfeeding my 19 month old DD.

Unplanned pregnancy. Total surprise and the news is still sinking in. Another recurrent miscarriage sufferer here (I recognise someone in this thread so if you've clocked me too!), so I won't be getting too attached. Will be requesting 8 week scan once I see my GP.

Hope everyone's well. My only symptom is constant weeping but I think that might just be the shock! Grin

TinyTear · 06/10/2013 12:09

Ginger, I am on a break but that is because I have a history of mc so will take a break until i am on the second trimestre... my husband understands....
