maybe it's because everyone tells me how crap you feel for days after and how sore you are. I don't mind the injection so much it's after I'm dreading.

kitty can't wait to hear your scan news. All exciting.

sweetie I was induced. Went in on a Thursday had two pessaries, got to 3cm dilated (sp?) then waters broke and drip set up about 11 Friday, drip started at 12. Baby born at 10.03pm. So try not to worry too much about it.

I found the hospital bag a nightmare to pack as you just don't know what you'll need at the time. I brought snacks but wasn't allowed to eat during labour.

I can also tell everyone my experience post birth. Although it's not very exciting. No clots, bleeding was minimal from about day 5. Was driving by day 4 after labour. If anyone wants to know more just shout. Grin

How's everyone feeling today?

keepitgoing · 01/10/2013 11:17

pen I feel ok today, had flu jab yesterday. I was v tired yesterday but who knows why. Imo its definitely worth getting the vaccine.

sweetie did you swap numbers with any of the twin mummies?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/10/2013 11:18

It's not so bad Pen. I've had one before. My arms always react badly to injections, but it's liveable. How are you feeling today? Better I hope Smile

And Sweetie you're having a sneeze birth remember Wink

SweetieTime · 01/10/2013 12:43

Keep was the tiredness normal tiredness or extreme even for pregnancy tiredness?
I wanted to swap numbers or email addresses but no one spoke to each other. It is a shame as the other couples were 27 & 28 weeks so we were all at exactly the same stage.
Hope your house viewing goes well, is there a link for us all to have a nosy????
I rang a local nursery as I had also heard about shortage in places. I was told there wasn't an issue at the moment but to get back to them in the New Year and to go in for a look around.

Apparently I have to book my jabs with a nurse at my GPs so I will wait until next week, not that I am putting it off or anything Wink

I will add a picture of my cute washing line in my profile and my Mum has delivered a very small cardigan she has knitted today too.

keepitgoing · 01/10/2013 14:15

I dont know sweetie, maybe a bit more than usual. That's such a shame no one spoke!

house

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/10/2013 14:44

Oh wow Keep that's beautiful!

keepitgoing · 01/10/2013 15:35

Yeah, the question is really whether we want to be more rural. I love houses like that, but dh keeps banging on about it should be detached.

Wispas are amazing. Fact.

Are the drugs working maybe? Crosses fingers.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/10/2013 15:50

Ooh, a wispa you say? I love a wispa gold. Haven't had one in years!

I'm hoping they're going to work Keep. Only thing is they are a sedative, and I can hardly keep my eye s open. Still, it meant I got a good sleep last night Wink

Detached houses are like gold dust around here Sad

SweetieTime · 01/10/2013 16:15

Keep lovely house, I love looking around houses. These are the our current favourites. DH out of a magazine favourite and my favourite sadly already sold as you can see we have very different tastes. It is not bother as we won't be moving again for quite some time.

I have eaten a full packet of Revels today, including the cream centre ones.

keepitgoing · 01/10/2013 18:36

Where's kitty?

Just forced myself to do exercise dvd, but feeling tired. Another 8 or 10 weeks to go...

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 01/10/2013 18:43

Popped back for Kitty's news.

Keep that house is lovely!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 01/10/2013 19:30

Where is she indeed? Out celebrating I hope. Though I have a feeling she said it was a late scan?

Have you been to see the house yet Keep?

ThedementedPenguin · 01/10/2013 19:58

Thanks everyone. It's good to hear some good experiences. Ds doesn't give me a break so was dreading feeling sick or sore afterwards.

maybe I haven't been too bad today. How are you feeling?

I went shopping today. Got a new pair of jeans (which are slightly too long so shall get them sorted tomorrow.) and a couple of new tops. So I'll have something to wear that fits :)

Hope the house viewing goes/went well. Will check out the links after ds goes to bed.

Where is kitty?

BlindKitty · 01/10/2013 20:07

SweetieTime · 01/10/2013 20:51

woo hoo kitty I am so pleased for you. It is amazing to see that little heartbeat. I think it is a very reasonable reaction to have a few tears, even my DH wiped his eyes.

SweetieTime · 01/10/2013 20:52
