Hiya ladies. Hope you don't mind me joining this thread. Just had my BFP this morning so very early days. Already have a DS who is 3 in two weeks. So happy to have a BFP but paranoia is already creeping in! Roll on 12 weeks. Haven't had a chance to read all the posts yet but hopefully will catch up and learn who is who over the next couple of weeks.

Oh gosh Covent, I really feel for you. Take good care of yourself, and just try to take solace from the fact that conception after mc is faster and extra sticky.

Have you told you DD yet? Think I'm going to wait till 12 weeks!

Being back in the first trimester is bringing back memories of first time round. Just itching to get to 12 weeks. Feeling very paranoid.

Jodey this is my third pg and im still paranoid, it doesn't get easier. Im just glad that this time round we've got the income to pay for an early scan at babybond.

TMI alert so dont read if eating while waiting to go to the doctor been sat on the loo its coming out fast 4 times it happened, im amazed i made it, its coming out the other end to the rest of you Grin dont want to sit down now
So went to GP told her of pain and diarrhoea she phoned EPAU and got me appointment, so went had internall all fine and saw heartbeat and they said baby doing really well yay feel lots better now knowing everything ok

Join the paranoid club! It's such a nerve-wracking wait.

Sounds like a few of us are nervous, especially when the symptoms go away or have not yet kicked in. I am def in that camp. Yesterday I felt much better, because I felt much worse - eg more pg - bloated/gas, sore nips (DH: would you like me to massage them? Lolly: Er, fuck off I'm in agony!), and extreme knackeredness. So felt like shit but was happy about it.

Last night had dreams/nightmares about giving birth. It was awful, forceps, that suction thing, ripping, tearing - the lot. Then lay awake for ages feeling traumatised. Anyway!

LTT - congrats on the scan result!

I feel less nauseated today than yesterday, and have told myself this is because hcg level doubles every 48-72 hours (I think)..so basically I'll probably feel ooeey tomorrow! Got DD1 an 8ft trampoline for her 9th birthday (tomorrow) really don't want to have to put it up in the rain tonight! Would it be terrible to make DP put it up on his own and I stick to tea making duty?!

Hi lolly totaly agree with boobs DH thinks they a new toy if he wants to stay alive he will learn to stay way

Great news LTT! Sorry about the ladies with terrible sickness, I've got off fairly lightly but even then it's really hard to get through a normal day with feeling ill/throwing up all the time!! I don't actually feel very sick this week, which is quite strange so slightly concerned, but also it is a nice change...still got the sore boons and felt all shaky by about 5 pm at work today, even though I had a good lunch. Anyone else had that?

I'm 8+5 today!! X
