thistlelicker · 24/09/2013 19:43

Anything fizzy will do me!!! I'm making COus COus because that's how I roll

YikesHereWeGo · 24/09/2013 19:53

lola - both my scans this pg have been tummy scans (at 6w & 7w) - saw heartbeat both times. Don't really understand why I had internal scans at that stage in previous pg's, but tummy scans seem to be the norm fro 10w onwards.
pfj - great news re your scan!

Chip86 · 24/09/2013 19:53

All i can think off are cheeder crackers yum yum

Spirael · 24/09/2013 19:59

The egg in the cheesecake mix will almost certainly have been cooked and allowed to set, so it'll be fine. Eat, enjoy and try not to worry. Wink

Raw brie is, unfortunately, not recommended in pregnancy. [sob] But melt it, and all is ok. :) Toasted brie and cranberry sandwiches all the way!

Cybercat · 24/09/2013 20:12

Welcome flix!

Am so jealous of all you ladies who have had scans! I can't get my head around all you ladies around my same date (6+1) who are having so many symptoms. I don't want to be sicky but I'd like a little reassurance!

I did eat Baileys cheesecake last week - the alcohol content would have been negligable and hell it was nice!

MasterFlea · 24/09/2013 20:14

Hi all. So lovely to hear about the scans. Amazing that the heart is beating at 7 weeks!

My ms has sucked all the life out of me. I barely look at the net these days. A miracle in itself! No cravings yet. My DH fancies himself as the food police.

I started yoga on the weekend and found it quite hard. Then read lots of stuff on the net saying I shouldn't do it in the first trimester and then only do it in the second if I'd been doing it for years before hand. Oh well. I cancelled out of the class today. I had signed up before i knew i was pregnant. More sitting on my bum instead now.
5 +5.

Chip86 · 24/09/2013 21:01

Thanks for all the advice, hope you all have a good evening
Night night

My Cous Cous was boring!!! I'm hungry

NannyPlumForPM · 24/09/2013 21:18

Cous Cous is always boring- even it's name is particularly unexciting Hmm my lovely wonderful fantastic DP (stealth boast) has just spent the last half hour cooking me meatballs pasta mushrooms peppers and sauce with cheese on! Mmmmmmm

Also pfj I'm 24 and am very glad I am sticking at 2 if the symptoms get worse! Puked up my gorgeous pineapple salad this morning (sorry of tmi)

Yay for sitting on your bum..... I am doing it right now watching
Don't Tell The Bride while eating minstrels..... Hmm
Bet she hates the dress.... popcorn anyone??

Halfbaked · 24/09/2013 21:21

I'm hungry and waiting for DH to bring home something nice, especially after watching GBBO.
Apart from tiredness, waking in the early hours with nausea , bloating making me look 5 months gone and having to go to the loo every half an hour I feel completely normal!!

Welcome to all the new Maybies, quite a group of us now.

ThePFJ · 24/09/2013 21:22

Hi NannyPlum! Sticking at 2 is my plan.... 2 is definately enough!! Shame about the pineapple. I LOVE pineapple. Grin

hobbjobb · 24/09/2013 21:26

Fantastic news on the scan PFJ

I'm feeling pretty good. Boobs still sore but other than that I'm pretty dandy. I registered my pregnancy with my docs yesterday and they said the midwife will call me to arrange booking in appt but it may not be for a few weeks, I'm soooo impatient!

thistlelicker · 24/09/2013 21:27

I fancy chips!! It was a meal for one here today!! Dh is at work til 1130 :-(

lolablu · 24/09/2013 21:38

i had a plate of chips yesterday but now i dont fancy it ugh.. Stupid naueda

Vikks · 24/09/2013 21:47

Good luck with everything ladies, I'm praying for sticky beans all round. I'm off on my holidays tomorrow (against the nurse's advice), hopefully two weeks of relaxing with my family will help my little bean get nice and comfy.
I can't imagine how much catch up reading I'll have to do when I get back, this thread moves sooo quick!
Take care, Vik x Wink

ThePFJ · 24/09/2013 21:50

Awwwwwww she actually likes the dress!!! Damn it.. I need drama and tantrums!!! But aww........ (Still watching Don't Tell the Bride Grin)

ThePFJ · 24/09/2013 21:50

Happy Holidays Vikks!!

impatientlywaiting · 24/09/2013 21:53

Whilst I've been watching GBBO and Don't tell the bride (she's growing on me now. Thought she was a bit of a diva now, but she's taken the LA and no family thing really well) I've updated the stats thread with some Newbie info.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, we keep the info here
stats thread

There are 86 of us now!! So many May Babies!!

impatientlywaiting · 24/09/2013 21:54

Oh and I actually can't think of a better way to make the time pass quickly than relaxing on holiday. Think all of us pregnant ladies should be prescribed them on the NHS.

Have an amazing time Vikks
