Im sure everything is fine, it is easier when you start to feel them move. Make sure you keep track of movements as well as these are good to give you peave of mind. Theres an app called kick me I think. I remeber first time I was the same as you, it does get easier and im still excited to feel those first feather like tickles in my belly when baby moves. You could rent a doppler, I did with DD2, we had a car crash when I was 19 weeks pregnant and I was terrified that something would happen to baby so rented a doppler for re-assurance.

ThePFJ · 22/09/2013 17:10

Chip I just can't stop nibbling..... like some demented rabbit coming up with new things to put together in my kitchen...... Confused

hobbjobb · 22/09/2013 17:14

Hello, may I join you?

I got my BFP on the 19th Sept and I'm currently 5+6, due 19th May (I think!)
It's my first child and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed

I threw up this morning but other than that I'm feeling ok, my boobs are really painful though, I see that is a common thing around this time!

Cupcake1985 · 22/09/2013 17:15

Hi everyone :) im due around 28 may about 4 weeks pregnant. Finally found this thread (thanks for the message coffee) ive been enjoying the september bus so glad i can still get my fix of chat! Cant describe how excited i am to be on this thread already :) we were fortunate it was our first month trying. I have no symptoms apart from bruised feeling boobs and bloated feeling tummy. Guess lots of you are ahead of me so its good seeing what might come! Eek

ThePFJ · 22/09/2013 17:37

Welcome and congrats hobbjobb and Cupcake hope you are ready for hormones and big appetites!!

Wow Cupcake - 28th May... I guess we are getting near the end of the Maybie bus soon...

Hopefully DH will cook me a big dinner soon.... hungry again...... sigh.....
Hmm

hobbjobb · 22/09/2013 18:23

Thanks ThePFJ
I made a massive roast today and am now slumped out on the sofa, bliss.

impatientlywaiting · 22/09/2013 19:15

Hello Cupcake and Hobbjobb. Congrats on the BFPs and welcome to the Maybies group.

I was from the August bus, but have a check occasionally on the Sept bus to see who has got their BFPs.

Chip86 · 22/09/2013 20:15

Soooooo so sick..... Just wish I could throw up and get it out of my system... Just sipping water in a dark room and feeling sorry for myself...

Cupcake1985 · 22/09/2013 20:27

Literally just read all 23 pages! Entertained me a while :) feeling a little worried about things going wrong now though..... Will make sure I take things slower and keep reminding myself I'm pregnant and not to lift that/ eat that/ drink that!

Cybercat · 22/09/2013 20:29

Welcome hobjob & cupcake!

Glad to hear all went well with the scan thistle.

I will be 6 weeks tomorrow by my count, boobs are a bit sore and a little emotional at times but am othetwise completely normal feeling. Was very relieved when I went to fill the car with petrol earlier and the small made me nauseous!

Currently slumped on the sofa feeling shattered as spent the afternoon in the garden trying to sort out the chicken run - I love my little flock of ladies!

Vikks · 22/09/2013 20:40

Hobbjobb and Cupcake Welcome, good luck ladies! x

I'm so green today.......... plus 3 hour sleep this afternoon!!! Hmm

ThePFJ · 22/09/2013 20:48

Cybercat you are precisely 1 week behind me.... and I wish I could keep chickens. I grew up on a farm. But my DH is bird-phobic. Don't ask. Hmm

hobbjobb Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Roast.......... drool..........

Hopefully my 7 week scan is tomorrow. Squeeeeeeeeee! >.

hobbjobb · 22/09/2013 20:57

Thanks everyone! Good luck to all of you too.
DP and I discussed names and it turns out we have widely differing tastes so it is going to be hard to agree I think!

ThePFJ I will make you drool even more... After my massive roast I ate two big squishy bits of chunky chocolate brownie that I baked this avo, I hope DP doesn't expect this kind of treatment all the time now I'm preggers tho Smile

I'm registering at my docs tomorrow, how come some of you have a 7 week scan, is that done privately?

Has anyone had their booking in appt yet? What kind of things do they do?

hobbjobb · 22/09/2013 20:57

Oh and cybercat I'm 6 weeks tomorrow too

Cybercat · 22/09/2013 21:07

hobbjobb I have my booking in appointment in 3 weeks time so will be 9 weeks, the midwife said about 8-9 weeks is fine. I self referred to the midwives and she is coming to the house which I presume is normal. No early scan for me (Id livebrhevreassurance of one), the EPU will only scan early in my area for pain or bleeding. I need to change GPs now due to area and have an appointment on Tuesday.

The PFJ, my DH was ok with me getting chickens as long as I dealt with the poo, hes going to have to do it when I'm too fat lol!

JessicaRRRabbit · 22/09/2013 21:07

Welcome hobbjobb and Cupcake and Thanks

It looks like it's been a relaxed day for the Maybies. Took DS on a playdate this morning and sorted out the garden. Afterwards, I went up to close my eyes for half an hour and woke up three hours later! How did you fare after your afternoon with the ladies Cybercat?

Sounds like the sleepover was a big hit Mumof2. Have you recovered yet? Grin

Fantastic news yikes - the relief you must have felt!

Fx for lovely update of progress thistle.

Just found out that MiniRRRabbit is the size of a blueberry this week on this site. Grin What do y'all have?

7+1 today

Cybercat · 22/09/2013 21:10

Oooh mines pea sized right now Jessica! Seems so tiny! I am rather tired this evening but worth it to get their run clean and dry (we'd had a little water leak problem to sort).

moominleigh94 · 22/09/2013 21:17

At the moment mine is a raspberry, but in two days it will be a green olive Grin currently 8+5

Vikks · 22/09/2013 21:19

Mine's a sweet pea too how cute.

Hobbjobb All my scans are in with the fertility treatment we had.

Buddhaboy · 22/09/2013 21:22

Hi can I pop into this thread?? I got my first bfp on Thursday there but having trouble working out my dates as I had a MC start of August. I think I conceived on or around 22nd August, does that make me about 5 weeks?

Anyhoo, as I said, my last pg resulted in MC Hmm and I've found myself feeling quite paranoid. Checking my boobs all the time to see if they're sore, checking underwear for blood, it's just a horrible feeling. Trying so hard to stay positive but then every time I feel a slight niggle I think "oh no" Hmm

Plus, I'm moving to Europe on Wednesday and my GP surgery has been closed due to September weekend.

Would anyone in my shoes present to EPU just to get checked before travelling?? Or do I need to chill out?!

thistlelicker · 22/09/2013 21:23

This time tomorrow I'll know if my bean is super sticky!!!

ThePFJ · 22/09/2013 21:39

Hobbjobb I have a scan booked because I have lost so many in the past. I have mc'd 7 times, had 1 ectopic, and I have one DS. So this is pg number 10. Confused A scan this early on the nhs is called a reassurance scan and apparently my MW is wangling this one for me because they are trying to stop offering them all together. It's a bugger isn't it... grrrrrrr
According to google images I should only be able to see a bubble. But if there is a bubble I will feel sooooo happy!! The 12 week scan is better because you can actually see a baby! Can't wait for that one!!!!

If I see anything or something exciting happens I'll tell you all.

BroodyTroody · 22/09/2013 21:39

V jel of early scans!

Don't know if anyone is near enough to me to take advantage of this, but saw today that at the kiddicare at Lakeside do gender scams from 16 weeks for £45. Cheapest I've seen it by a long way!

ThePFJ · 22/09/2013 21:41

Gender scams for £45.00??? What do they do? Tell you the wrong gender on purpose?? Har har.....

No seriously, that IS a good price Grin
