Vikks you might find that you fit into them before/during your hols though, as I said mines been on and off, it was worst week 4 if I remember and now just have odd days. Failing that you might have some luck shopping if there's summer stuff on sale still?

mumof2aimingfor4 · 20/09/2013 22:00

Once we've had a baby our body knows what its got to do. My friend is 13 weeks with DC5 and is showing alot already!

I've booked tickets to 30 seconds to mars! I told OH im going to go with my friend (one mentioned above). He then sulked and asked if he could come with me instead! Overprotective pratt! Got to love him.

moominleigh94 · 20/09/2013 23:17

Bedtime I think. Spent the evening snuggled up with my dog Grin nice to be home for the weekend.

thistlelicker · 21/09/2013 07:48

Morning ladies ! Hope u r all well x

McRedHead · 21/09/2013 08:13

Morning thistle and ladies.

I have DS and DD and have been thinking about practicalities of our house a lot at the mo (3 bedrooms, so 2 will be sharing eventually. but which 2?!)

For those old timers, when did you get an inkling of the sex of DC? Were you right?

Didn't have cravings for either but did choose sweet snacks for DS and savoury for DD, but that wasn't until 3rd tri.

x

mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/09/2013 08:14

Morning all! I have to contend with 7 eight/nine year olds today! Its my dauhhters birthday party and I stupidly said she could have a sleep over! At the time I didn't know I would be pregnant as we had just started trying. Cinema/park/pizza I think should drain them a bit.

mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/09/2013 08:15

Red both times I couldn't tell if I was having a boy or girl but the Chinese predictor was right. For me anyway. This time im supposed to finally have a boy!

thistlelicker · 21/09/2013 08:16

Good luck with the party !!! :/)

mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/09/2013 08:20

Im going to need it thistle!

Vikks · 21/09/2013 08:25

McRed I was getting pink vibes when I was having my son. But luckily we decided on a gender scan or I might have started buying dresses. I'm really glad we found out and will do the same this time. From 20 weeks we were calling him by name and got him loads of personalised stuff.
Are you going to find out the sex? Getting any vibes?
Mumof2 Good luck today!

I'm off to brave Meadowhall & the Next sale has started!
Anyone else from Yorkshire?

mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/09/2013 08:30

Good luck with the sale Vikks get a next online account then they send you a vip sale email so you can order sale stuff on line before non account holders can buy. I got maternity jeans and a few jumpers this time round.

McRedHead · 21/09/2013 08:35

either way we'll have to adapt rooms to fit all three when this bub moves out of our room. so we'll have time to do that after he/she arrives. We didn't find out last time. But I am tempted! Off for a Brew before the joy of Saturday morning clubs kicks off. Happy weekend all.

(Was birthday yesterday so might even have leftover cake for breakfast :O )

lolablu · 21/09/2013 08:37

hey vikks.. im in sheffield.. going to hell on a saturday? your brave.. be warned theres an edl protest around here today...

moominleigh94 · 21/09/2013 08:40

All being well, I think we'll definitely find out the sex... or rather I will Grin OH wants to know but doesn't at the same time. Apparently I should be due the 20 week scan around the middle of December, so if I find out and he still wants to know, I'll put it in a card to give him on Christmas day or something.

I have absolutely no inkling at all (then again, first DC so wouldn't expect to). But both gender predictors have said girl, and I'll admit, I'd like that Grin

impatientlywaiting · 21/09/2013 09:43

Question for all second, third or fourth time pregnancies, how long do mild crampy pains last. I've had them pretty much since I got my BFP much less painful than real period pains, but a similar type of feeling. I've read its because the uterus is stretching, does that mean that'll last the whole pregnancy or do you stop feeling it after a while?

8 weeks today

moominleigh94 · 21/09/2013 11:16

So moody and irritable today... OH doing a charity walk and seems to just expect me to know exactly what's happening and when, the route goes past my house and instead of letting me know he's going past so I can cheer them on, he's posting on Twitter instead... wants me to come along in the support van with his family even though I can't even sit in a car without being sick atm, and I just want to spend some time with my own family this weekend Sad is this really awful and unreasonable of me, and am I allowed to blame it on hormones? Don't want to post in Am I Being Unreasonable because they'll tear me to shreds Sad

And now in half an hour I have to get on a bus and play Welsh songs when they arrive in the pouring rain and they'll just walk past and then I'm expected to hop in the van and sit and wait in the van for four hours.

First world problems, I know, I just really need to vent Sad

Vikks · 21/09/2013 11:25

lolablu I've got to do it I need clothes, I know it'll be bad!
I live about 30 miles from Sheffield. I had all my fertility treatment at Jessops.
impatientlywaiting I can't really remember when the cramps stopped, they may have just changed into baby kicks. I remember being uncomfortable a lot all the way through with one thing or another. It's all fun fun fun this PG business! Grin

Vikks · 21/09/2013 11:27

moominleigh94 Vent away that's what we're all here for! Flowers

lolablu · 21/09/2013 11:36

:) might see you at the mighty jessops then :)

Chip86 · 21/09/2013 13:31

Oh moomin i hope it works out and you have a good day blame your hormones and do what you want to do

I have a cold, sore voice, bad head i think it is a temprature so im staying in bed because i just feel yuck

JessicaRRRabbit · 21/09/2013 14:41

Hi everyone, hope your weekends have got off to a good start Smile

Well the minefield that is baby names has started over here. We're doing shortlists and deciding when DC2 arrives but DH doesn't like any of my choices so far and I think his are meh Hmm I know we have ages yet but can't see us ever agreeing as it stands. Is anyone else having name issues atm?

On the bright side, my queasiness has disappeared entirely! Still getting tired but less so than before and the boobs are calming down - I may be over the hump now I'm waiting for the bump!

What time does the party start Mumof2? A sleepover sounds like fun, exhausting fun Grin Are you prepping food and activities for DD and her friends or going down the DVD and takeaway route? (I know which I'd be doing lol.)

7+0 today

NannyPlumForPM · 21/09/2013 15:10

Gosh everyone has very exciting Saturdays planned Grin

Mine will consist of popcorn (me and dd) and football (dp) Oh the joys.... as far as names are concerned we have lots of choices that we both love for a girl, but boys names are just really elusive! We can't find ONE we agree on yet... could be a long 7 months!

7+2ish I think

OP posts:
mumof2aimingfor4 · 21/09/2013 15:33

Jessica dvd and dominos pizza! Just at the cinema with them watching Justin and the knights of valour. Party started at 12. So far so good, all beautifully mannered and well behaved girls.

moominleigh94 · 21/09/2013 15:58

I've still got nausea but actual being sick seems to have stopped yay Grin

Ended up being alright, OH was so pleased to see me that I forgot all about my moodiness. Back home now because I was feeling queasy and didn't fancy the van journey.

We haven't had the name argument yet, but it's coming. OH wants nn for a boy to be Teddy, and suggested Edward because it's a family name for him, and also David as a middle name. I also want a name from my side of the family in there; Rhys, because my brother's middle name was Rhys and he died when I was younger, and I know my family would like it and I'd love it in there as a tribute.

Thing is... I'm really not keen on Edward as a name. I want Theodore - so he can be Teddy, and then Theo when he's older. So I thought Theodore David Rhys (Surname).... but I don't think OH will agree Hmm

First name for a girl is nice and easy, we just have no idea re: second name. Considered Harley but I want something Welsh Grin

Chip86 · 21/09/2013 17:31
