Hi killash and congrats! loopylou first day of really feeling rough in work today but I have already told my boss and she has just said to me go home if I need to :) she is nice to me. I'm really suffering from bad lower back more than anything else :( but the nausea has hit me hardest today I feel wiped out!

moominleigh94 · 19/09/2013 14:07

Been to speak to lecturers... apparently they're relieved as they thought I wanted to quit uni or start a different course, so me being pregnant is a relief Grin been assured that it's been done before and it'll happen again, and there's lots of options, so things are looking up! And one of my lecturers has insisted on a Welsh name Grin

JessicaRRRabbit · 19/09/2013 14:35

Fantastic news moomin - Thanks to you and all the new Maybies xx

lolablu · 19/09/2013 14:52

my ms seems to be getting worse.. Or at the moment its 'just' nausea. Im addicted to honey on toast at the moment but i just managed some spag bol. Now got to wait to feel a lil less sick while it goes down, but it is reassuring to feel pregnant...

loopylou52 · 19/09/2013 16:56

Great news moomin! Smile

Oh dear Chip long day at the office. Enjoy your early night xx

ACatCalledBrian · 19/09/2013 19:21

8 weeks today! Just been away with work for a week and really struggling to keep this whole pregnancy thing hidden. I've been eating truly the weirdest things because what I can keep down's pretty limited. Weirdly Tesco's strawberry fizzy laces seem to cure my nausea...

Still got over two weeks to my first appointment which is freaking me out, though not as much as DH is freaking.

Welcome newbies!

Feeling slightly negligent now for only taking folic acid... maybe I need to look into other vitamins!

moominleigh94 · 19/09/2013 19:22

Enjoy your early night Chip :)

I've got like occasional sharp pain underneath my bellybutton - not severe pain, not sharp enough to take my breath away and not cramping, just niggly and uncomfortable. No bleeding or anything.

Anyone else had this/know what it could be? Don't fancy another trip to the hospital really Hmm

mumof2aimingfor4 · 19/09/2013 20:14

I thought third time round I'd have these hormones under control. Just been looking at canapé menus for our wedding and burst into tears!

NannyPlumForPM · 19/09/2013 20:18

No idea moomin sorry!!

I too am packing myself in for an early night- toodle-oo

Hello lovely ladies! I've been hovering for a while and think I need to finally introduce myself and join in. I have put my details on the spreadsheet - I'm 6 weeks 1 day pregnant with my first baby after one cycle of ICSI. I am over the moon after trying for 2 years!

The only thing is that I have no symptoms and it's making me nervous - I don't feel pregnant in any way. My boobs were sore (but they have been since I started taking progesterone after egg collection) although they've stopped hurting today. I've been having twinges and a few cramps (but they have got less of the days), quite a few spots appeared on my face last week, a terrible cold - and that's it. I've been googling and I know it's normal for some women, and more symptoms could kick in any day, but I was wondering if anyone else was in the same situation?

I have a scan on Tuesday so super excited/nervous about that!!

Anyway ladies - I'm so excited to be with you!!

moominleigh94 · 19/09/2013 20:23

Seems to have gone so shrug

I can sympathise with the hormones mumof2 ... the tiniest things set me off. It was making me cry, now today things are making me angry!

I really do feel better for having told lecturers :) Got a clear idea of what to do. It may take me an extra year to graduate, but that's ok.

thistlelicker · 19/09/2013 20:34

I'm babysitting my 4 weeks old Neice tonight!!!

Cybercat · 19/09/2013 20:39

Welcome BoogiesBunny Brew

AliOh · 19/09/2013 20:49

Welcome BoogiesBunny and congrats. I wouldn't worry, my symptoms disappear from one day to the next, spent the first half of this week worrying because they'd disappeared only to have full blown nausea this morning!

I'm off to bed too - having napped since half six :O

BoogiesBunny · 19/09/2013 20:53

Thanks Cybercat!! It was good to read that you don't feel pregnant either (although I obviously want you to be sure!)- I'm desperate to take another test - I did 4 the week I found out and my husband laughed about the last two when I shouted upstairs 'I'm still pregnant!'. It was the only thing telling me anything!

ThePFJ · 19/09/2013 21:04

Welcome boogies and all the other lovely gals I have missed.
moomin Glad it was fine.... Grin

My MW has brought my booking appointment forward to the day beginning week 8 - I guess I am a lucky girl today!

Heartburn and burping.... my day has been all about the burn.... arghhh

I guess I should go to bed... but my head hurts and I am all restless (she says YAWNING Hmm ) .......

loopylou52 · 19/09/2013 21:35

Welcome and congrats boogiesbunny! I keep feeling guilty about not appreciating my symptoms enough! I guess we're not happy either way though. Exciting you've got a scan coming up!

Cybercat · 19/09/2013 21:36

I just had to stop myself crying at Educating Yorkshire so Im counting that as a pregnancy sign!

lolablu · 19/09/2013 21:43

i find that starbursts help my nausea.

I had the most horrible experience at toby carvery today. i was refused a childs plate because i wasnt under ten. they said i could have a child sixze portion but id be charged adult price. i promptly walked out and went to crown, where i could get a small plate with no quibble...

just what i wanted that was.. really yummy...

CoffeeGuzzler · 19/09/2013 21:48

Welcome boogiesbunny. Another one with no symptoms here. I am 5 weeks and 2 days and the only symptom I have are slightly sore boobs and some mild period like cramps every now and again. No nausea, sickness, tiredness..nothing. I feel fine. Definitely still pregnant as I took another test today just to reassure myself.

BoogiesBunny · 19/09/2013 22:32

The PFG - oh booking apt at 8 weeks - that's so cool! I can't wait to until things start moving.

cyber hmmmm, sounds like you should be counting that as a sign - local television is not that good!

lolablu what a great excuse to eat Starburst! Good to know...

CoffeeGuzzler so great to hear about another person on the same boat - thanks for letting me know. If you love love caffeine as much as your name suggests have you switched to decaf yet?? It wasn't as tough as I thought...
