Blimey extra! Thats really scary! That was one of the reasons I wanted to get married before having kids - for simplicity! Ever the romantic! Grin

sarahleanne · 27/09/2013 20:35

sultan glad im not the only one :)

space thankyou and cheers for the virtual cuppa .

Question for everyone, what are your blood pressures? Sorry to be personal. Basically with my 2nd pregnancy Iwas induced fof high bp. I got told at the time that anything over 90 bottom number was classed as moderately high. This time the midwife is to refer me if bp starts to go high again. My bottom number was at 86 at last appointment but she didnt mention anything about it gradually creeping up. Is anyone elses in the 80 region?

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 27/09/2013 22:07

tooth I am out of breath sometimes just from sitting down. It's weird! MW wasn't bothered though, so must just be lungs being squashed.

sarahl mine's something over 74 - but have always had v low bp anyway.

Re 26 weeks/end of 2nd trimester - anyone else confused? I put my due date into various online 'clubs' (Mothercare, Aptaclub, Emma's Diary etc) and they all say different weeks (today, being the start of a new week, I had You are: 25, 26 and 27 weeks pregnant emails, and, according to different books/apps, the 3rd trimester either begins now, or next week, or when I am 28 weeks. Which is it? Anyone know? I'm 26 wks today.

Just been to pg yoga again, was ace - we did a fab visualisation to relax at the end. I may have dropped off at one point I did.

TobyLerone · 27/09/2013 22:55

Pretty sure 3rd trimester is 28 weeks.

My BP was 112/58 yesterday at the MW. Is that weirdly low?

Toothfairy78 · 27/09/2013 23:09

Thanks humpty Glad I'm not the only one out of breath!

On BP, Re-pregnancy my BP was 110/70. Now it's 106/60ish,if that helps.

TobyLerone · 27/09/2013 23:14

Yes, mine was 120/70 before pregnancy. Always. But it's always very low when I'm pregnant. When I had DS I had an epidural (which can lower blood pressure) and I vividly remember them keeping on asking me if I was ok, if I felt dizzy, etc. I felt fine, but when I looked at my notes my BP was 80/40 Hmm

extracrunchy · 27/09/2013 23:55

My BP was 108/68 last week - think that's pretty normal?

sarahleanne · 28/09/2013 05:56

Ah see yours are all really good . I think I'm going to mention it at my next appointment as its playing on my mind. I dont want to be induced again and really hoping bp doesn't creep any higher. Sorry for the 'me' post. But being only 4 numbers away from 90 is worrying me a bit.

extracrunchy · 28/09/2013 07:23

Totally fair enough - and better to be careful!

TobyLerone · 28/09/2013 07:28

Aren't we all doing 'me' posts? It's the point of these threads, surely? Don't worry, sarahl :)

Definitely mention it next time. There may be some things you can do.

extracrunchy · 28/09/2013 07:37

Me post!
I can't effing sleep and was just getting comfy at just before 6 this morning when I hear "muuuummy I awake! [Giggle giggle]" from his maj next door. Grr... So I brought him in with me for a snuggle after ignoring him for a bit and he bestowed repeated extra snoggy kisses for ages instead of please just going back to sleep for a bit...

extracrunchy · 28/09/2013 07:37

(Lucky I love him to pieces)

Naturegirl82 · 28/09/2013 07:42

I shamefully went to bed at 7.30 last night Blush Feel so much better for it today though and just as well as mega hectic (but exciting) weekend planned Smile

TobyLerone · 28/09/2013 07:42

Aawwww, extra, he sounds adorable :)

I got woken up by DH's sodding driving instructor texting him at 6.45 to remind him of his lesson at 10 Angry

TobyLerone · 28/09/2013 07:43

Oooh, I love an early night, nature. Nothing shameful in it!

What are you doing this weekend that's so exciting?

What are we all doing this weekend?

extracrunchy · 28/09/2013 07:47

He is totally adorable I just really really want to go to sleep!
Driving instructor sounds ridiculously efficient.

TobyLerone · 28/09/2013 08:08

I might run him over when he turns up, just as a warning :o

Spacefrog35 · 28/09/2013 08:15

Lol toby love it Grin

extra awww slobbering small people sound delightful

I'm definitely guilty of 'me' posts Blush but you ladies do help put my mind at rest about so much.

I'm thinking this weekend I might finally have a go at sorting the nursery. Been putting it off as one, it looks too much like hard work & two, I sort of feel a bit like sorting stuff out might jinx things! But woke up this morning feeling rested and positive so maybe today is the day Grin

What's everyone else up to? Anything exciting?

Toothfairy78 · 28/09/2013 08:58

sarah there's nothing wrong with me posts on here. I'm sure collectively we help each other feel less crazy?

Besides, haven't you had loads to stress about lately, which may be driving your BP up temporarily? Things are getting better and probably your BP will settle down before too long. But you're right to check with MW just in case.

Now what am I doing this weekend? Well, it seeing Book of Mormon cos that's next weekend. Doh. Might do some DIY, there's plenty of it!

What have you got lined up nature?

Angelesque · 28/09/2013 09:05

I'm off to the Baby and Toddler show today - husband not desperately excited so I'm bribing him with a McDonald's breakfast first, ha ha!

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 28/09/2013 09:16

Weekend plans? I'm off to a christening today (have been promised baby cuddles) then off to Liverpool tomorrow for a couple of days to catch up with my supervisor.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Sultanajo · 28/09/2013 09:23

toby surely texting him back at stupid o clock to confirm the next appointment would be more satisfying (and less prison time...) Wink

For the first time in ages we have a totally free weekend!!! Have no idea what to do with it but determined not to waste it. Will definitely go for a swim and we may go to the cinema and we are treating ourselves to chinese tonight. I should probably do some tidying up, but CBA - but will have to force myself!

Hope everyone has exciting plans! The baby and toddler event sounds cool! Grin

TobyLerone · 28/09/2013 09:35

:o good idea!

Our weekend will likely be wasted, but I'm ok with that. The next couple will be quite busy so slobbing around seems justified. I've just got up and made an executive decision to put pjs on instead of clothes. I think that sets the tone Wink

Have lovely weekends, all!

sarahleanne · 28/09/2013 09:41

toby I may have to steal your pj idea!!
No kids in the house this morning it is strangely quiet !! Mum said ' come across to get them when your ready in your own time' ... Umm see you at midnight then mum haha I do love them really honest

MrsVDB · 28/09/2013 10:13

Just checked my notes and mine was previously 110/80 and at last apt was 100/70.

I've got 6 friends coming to stay tonight but due to building work in every room I'm going to have to spend all day lugging boxes and building materials around to make it slightly more liveable. I'm sure ill have a great time later but can't be bothered to sort house out!!
