Well, here's hoping!

Baby is fine!! Has a good heartbeat, and the measurements all add up to my original due date (makes sense as I know the week it was made :P )

Got lots of pictures too! It was sat on the bum with hands by the mouth, very still! Only a little bit of moving and jiggling, and nearly did a somersault when prodded. It kicked once and I didn't feel anything though! But it looks all healthy and stuff :D

Yay for amazing scans and heartbeats! I have my 16 wk appointment on Monday and am looking forward to being able to hear the heartbeat, fingers crossed. Do I need to take a wee sample with me? Or can I do it whilst there??

I just doubled the value of some clubcard vouchers to spend on their clothing online - bought some plain vests and a very cute hungry caterpillar sleepsuit set. Their sizing seemed good - newborn, then 0-1m (10lb) so have gone for that size thinking I'm likely to give birth to a heffer if DH is anything to go by..

bear I can totally sympathise. I switched off completely whilst driving and approaching a set of traffic lights. Didn't clock everyone in front of me had stopped for a red light and had to do an emergency stop and swerve into the bus lane next to me. Thank god it was empty.

P.S. am interested in the closed facebook group but how does it work exactly? Would you see our 'real' facebook profiles? Or is it anonymous?

Just back from my midwife appointment. Heard the heartbeat, it sounded like a little steam train chugging away

jazz I think people would be able to see your profile pic and anything you post to the group but not your profile or wall unless you have accepted a friend request. I guess that also means our real names will be seen? Someone else might know better than me though

212 I'm with you on being a little bit embarrassed by the size of my bump already! I'm 14+5 and I swear have a similar bump to the one I had at 20 weeks last time. Am sort of trying to hide it and wishing the weeks away a bit so I can 'wear' it with pride when I get to about 20 weeks! Hate the idea of being asked how far along I am and people looking on in horror when they realise I have 5 months still to go.

I'd be up for a closed Facebook group too. I'm in one that sort of originated from a MN thread with DS and it's been great. Lots of sharing of photos and birth announcements when the babies arrive and middle of the night postings when you're up feeding and the rest of the world is still asleep. You can do it without becoming 'friends' with the group members (unless you want to of course!) so in that respect, all the members would see is your name and profile pic (assuming you have fairly tight privacy settings on your account).

Right, I think I have managed to start a group on fb. its set to closed now but once we join we can "secret" it which means noone can search for it etc.

All you can see is peoples names and profile pic unless you "friend" anyone. I'm in a similar one as I got married in Vegas and met loads of like minded ladies and it's great to be able to share picks and things.

yaaaaaaay my H+M order has arrived. But all the tshirts are medium so i don't know if i'd probably be best returning and getting larges. Bloody website didn't have S M L etc as sizing so i went 14/16, and they fit but don't know how much "growing room" there is. Grrrrrrr

Gosh I need I stop just assuming that only brown things have caffeine in! I've been craving ice cold fizziness recently so at the weekend bought a giant bag of ice (best purchase EVER!) and some sugar free iron bru. I was happily knocking it back until DH started reading it and it has loads if warnings on it about causing hyperactivity etc in kids as its so full of shit and caffeine. Obviously I didn't exactly think it was good for me but blinking health warnings on the label!?! It has now been relegated to the "evil" list never to be enjoyed again

Ah don't worry about a little bit of caffeine though! Just keep it to a few glasses/cups a day! I had a cuppa tea and chocolate spread for breakfast, little one still was reaaally chilled out in here! Have requested to join :) am the one with the weird name.

I live for my afternoon can of Pepsi or coca cola. Can't abide tea at the moment so this is the next best thing.

Umm the FB group is a closed group, not a secret group. Therefore anyone on your friends list can see when you post in it. Is there any way it could be changed to a secret group?

I met my little nephew yesterday. I might be biased but he is incredibly cute! I got long huggles with him, but he's so tiny! I couldn't do anything whilst holding him, made me realise just how intense a new baby is

first day back at work after holiday I had 997 emails!!! I've brought my laptop home so I can hit the delete button on my commute home! I told most of my team today, they were really pleased for me. lovely team! I still want a new job though.

16 week appointment tomorrow, I'm nervous about hearing the heartbeat. I hope everything is ok. DH has an interview straight after so I'm hoping they find it quickly!

My new look clothes (including my extra long jeans) are waiting for me at home. I'm excited about trying them all on!

I'm still having my daily proper coffee plus chocolate so I'm not worried Just surprising what it's hidden in sometimes!
