Joining this thread almost midway - just in time for the facebook group Smile

I feel quite left behind being at the very back of the Feb bus but seeing that the all day sickness is almost ok now, I can rejoin you ladies on this one Wink

Had nuchal scan on Friday and all is well so last weekend we broke the news to family and friends - dressed DD (almost 3) in a t-shirt with 'I'm going to be a big sister just like Dora' on the front which no one noticed Hmm lol, so ended up telling them verbally. Still have work to tell though, which I'm dreading a bit.

Oh and I got my doppler now (had lent it to sil when she was pregnant) and am having a peek every now and then.

Baby was so chilled out during scan - hope it stays so - DD was so restless sonographer had difficulty confirming gender appointment after another (we get scanned every 4 weeks here [privately]) so could do with a quiet one Smile

misskatamari · 27/08/2013 18:13

Awwww i'm glad your nuchal went well Malteaser. Finger's crossed baby is still being good at the gender scan Smile

Sorry Eeyore, I changed it to secret as i think it was showing up when people posted on their news feeds. If you pm me I will search and add you Smile

EeyoreIsh · 27/08/2013 18:17

Thanks missk

rueyrichardson · 27/08/2013 18:19

I'm also much bigger bump wise at this stage this time round. I think I am eating less generally than with DS though and I have not gained weight in the past 4 weeks, with a slightly high BMI I want to keep it under control. I have cut out caffeinated hot drinks so that I can enjoy a Diet Coke now and again! God knows how I will get out of bed on those cold winter mornings without a hot black coffee. I can't see the fabulous secret group either Confused

misskatamari · 27/08/2013 18:23

If you wanna pm me your email ruey i'll send an invite, or can unsecret for you to search it and change it back if not

littlestgirlguide · 27/08/2013 18:24

Missk, can I PM you too - I can't find the group now, either.

rueyrichardson · 27/08/2013 18:26

Thank you have pm'd! Smile

misskatamari · 27/08/2013 18:26

of course littlest!

littlestgirlguide · 27/08/2013 18:31

I have PM'd you too!

misskatamari · 27/08/2013 18:34

Okey dokey, hopefully littlest, ruey and eeyore should all have invites if I have figured it out correctly!

Bearfrills · 27/08/2013 18:36

I'm going to PM you too if that's okay, my email address yeah?

For my risk assessment at work on Thursday. Myanager asked if she can sit in! I was Hmm and emailed H&S to say I'd like a private appointment. They mailed back saying they are all private appointments and they don't let manager attend :o

Bearfrills · 27/08/2013 18:37
  • got my risk assessment

And manager asked if she could sit in

Shropshiremummy2bLaFay · 27/08/2013 18:44

malteaser do you realise you have just ruined our whole gender prediction regarding scan movement?! Us first timers were working on the basis that if it wiggles lots its a boy/sleepy it's a girl!

Camwombat · 27/08/2013 18:53

ooo can I pm you too?

misskatamari · 27/08/2013 19:02

of course camwombat. I'm out at preggo yoga for the first time in about 15 mins but yep any pms I get I shall invite to the fb group.

We're thus far sharing scan pics - not sure if were brave enough to share our bump podge pics yet...

littlestgirlguide · 27/08/2013 19:07

I may indulge in a selfish belly photo.... You can all tell me if its baby or podge! Not till later though, need to get a hyperactive 4 year old into bed!

Sassy20 · 27/08/2013 19:17

Misskat - I've pm'd you too! Smile

pettyprudence · 27/08/2013 19:21

Sorry missk you are going to have a very busy evening ahead of you - I will pm you also!

Nausea is slightly fading but I am still knackered! Feeling a bit more enthusiastic about doing ANYthing though!

I think my tummy is definitely podge as I think I am only 14+4 (lost track already!). I went shopping for a cocktail dress yesterday so I ate a massive jacket potato for lunch to expand my belly so I could see how the dress would look in 6 weeks time Grin

tiegysmum · 27/08/2013 19:31

Hey Missk I've pm'd you too, re Facebook x

jazzcat28 · 27/08/2013 19:46

Blush apologies missk I just didn't really want FB seeing how much I'm likely to be posting in the group! Sorry to land you with lots of work! Can you make any more of us admins so you're not taking the burden of adding everyone?

In other news I've just discovered the H&M baby range. It's cute. And cheap. I might be ordering a few bits...

Thisisfreakingmeout · 27/08/2013 19:55

I'm too dense to PM, where is the option to do that here?? Sorry everyone!

lol shropshire in fact when I was seeing the predictions I was like Hmm in my case it would have failed lol

pettyprudence · 27/08/2013 20:07

jazz I LOVE H&M baby clothes and they have great neutrals in lovely colours (not just beige or white!). I still buy all DS clothes there now (he's 2.5yr). It washes and wears really well and is an absolute bargain (except vests and sleepsuits for some reason are expensive!)
